I had to schedule an appointment a couple days ahead of time, but it was worth the wait. Jerry hooked me up with the issues I was having with my car audio. I had a bad install from 3 years ago from Auto Sound Barrier (Foster & Western). Showtime Audio took a look at the issues, and they even squeezed me in to have it fixed while I waited. Don't waste your time or money going to anyplace else except Showtime Audio. They are the best !! I went there to change out a crappy radio that came with my new Jeep. Was expecting to be jerked around, but the opposite happened. The owner Jerry took time to explain my options and offered me two choices on a radio. One cost $100.00 the other $600.00. There was no high pressure or upselling from Jerry. The rest of the Showtime staff are so nice and friendly. From the ladies working the desk, to the guys doing the installations, all were smiling and helpful. Another point to make, they had a garage filled with very expensive vehicles both new and classic that were being worked on. So to me that showed these guys knew what they were doing. If owners of these cars felt comfortable in having their expensive cars worked on, then I certainly could feel comfortable leaving my Jeep in their hands. Keep up the good work Jerry !! read more

These guys are the best in the business. Friendly, knowledgeable and honest! The place is clean and friendly. They obviously love what they do, it shows in all aspects of their work. I had just purchased a 99 eclipse with stock everything and was going to take it for an 8 hour road trip. The front speakers were blown, the equalizer on the stock head unit was destroyed, and there was a white noise constantly in the background. I needed new front speakers and a new head unit minimum in less than 36 hours. I spoke to Jerry (the owner) at 5:45 on Tuesday and he said he could do it all for $600 by 2pm Wednesday. I dropped it off Wed. morning and when I returned 2 pm wed. they had replaced all the speakers (6 1/2 inch instead of 4 1/2 inch!), replaced all the old wiring, and installed a custom placed ipod attachment. The end came out to $750, but they gave it to me for the quoted $600! Amazing service, I am going back for all other custom work! read more

I went to Show Time Audio on February 11, 2011 to get a car remote. Based off the advertisements on Yelp I hoped that my experience would complement all the reviews that I had read. Well take this as a confirmation Jerry and Company delivered. What impressed me was the Customer Service hands down is A++++. The time it took to install the car remote installation ran over by an hour and some change. Before I could mention it they kept me in the loop as to why it was taking so long and even provided a discount. They made me very happy because they treat me how I wanted to be treated. This place was great. I stopped in unannounced to ask about getting a dvd player installed in my car for my kids. Jerry looked at my car for a few minutes and then offered me a couple of options. When I told him what I wanted ,he gave me a quote. I agreed and made an appointment for installation. Two days later, I dropped off the car for a few hours. When I picked it up, He charged me exactly what he quoted and I drove off with two happy kids singing along to the scooby doo theme song on the beautiful dvd player. after seeing all the 5 star reviews here, i thought this was too good to be true. but it is true! The customer service here is outstanding. They fixed a terrible stereo install i had done at another shop, they advised me on the right stereo for what i needed without pushing anything expensive. when that stereo turned out to have a problem (a manufacturer's defect) they exchanged it for another stereo in less than 30 minutes while i waited. you'll have a hard time finding better customer service and its clear that these folks really like doing things the right way. 5 stars, no hesitation. read more

Excellent service. Received by the owner in a friendly manner. He listened and understood. Then propose a solution that was perfect. He didn't try to oversell, on the contrary told me to start simple. He found a spot for the afternoon and made it. In the end I paid 8$ less than the initial estimation. That was very honest. I recently went to Showtime audio to have my remote starter looked at, previously I went to 3 other type of businesses and none of them would even look at my problem. The women that answers the phones and works the front desk is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She did not try to over sell me or push me into anything. It ended up I needed to have a new remote starter installed, and they were able to take of me the very next day. I am looking at a GPS and would defininately recommend them to do the work. Believe it! I bought a car on EBay (I know I know) which was the show car for an out of business car stereo manufacturer. The subs were cracked and there were a few other issues. I HATE dealing with almost all car related service providers, so I put off dealing with it for 6 mos (it sounded pretty good if not pushed too hard regardless). Based on the reviews here I tried Showtime and it went better than I ever could have hoped. Instead of the usual "your system stinks and it all needs to be replaced", Jerry complimented what a great job they did on the system and tried as much as possible to keep it the same with only needed items (i.e. new subs). He could have suggested $500 subs and I would have gone along without much question, but he put very reasonable subs in and they are much much tighter than the ones we took out. He also did a backup cam for me (my idea, no pushy sales pitch). He even did some custom grills for me (so I can still use my trunk without cracking the new subs) which not only were extremely reasonable, function better than I could have hoped, but I think they even made the bass sound better. Enough raving, trust me (and everyone else), you will not be disappointed. In fact, it was so reasonable that I almost wonder if he is not secretly a millionaire who runs the shop for the good of mankind! read more

i have only three stars for the folks at showtime. for sure they are competent but they're expensive. brought my classic car to them to install my nakamichi head and buy and install speakers. competent installation and weak communication, also they did not have properly sized rear speakers and promised to order and call me. never heard from them. installer left clippings and trash from installation in the car. best buy quality for top dollar imho. i'd pass, you can do better. read more

Like everyone else, I researched various installers. I went to 3 other installers for quotes before going to see jerry @ Showtime. I just have to say he was the most fair and friendliest of the places I went. They were super busy when I went and he still took the time to answer all of my questions and didn't make me feel like I was bothering them. Very patient. His prices were extremely fair and the quality of work was second to none. My expectations were blown away. I would say I had a mid sized system put in with some custom work and they were very creative and kept the install super clean and stealth. Most people didn't even know I had any work done. Don't be intimidated by their website. They do everything from iPod hook ups to full custom systems. And Jerry treats everyone like they are his most important client. I was so happy I brought my other car in which had a system installed by another shop. I always knew it didn't sound right. Jerry's team went through it and found it was totally misconfigured. They took care of it and even got my bluetooth working correctly. I will only got to Jerry for anything in the future. It's totally worth the drive (I live in far west suburbs) read more

I went to Showtime Audio MLK Day to have a Viper remote stater installed on my car. I can honestly say, you should believe the reviews on this site about Showtime Audio. These guys are fantastic. They did a wonderful job and the installation went without a hitch. My remote starter has been working perfectly as promised from the first day they installed it. I appreicated how honest they were with possible problems I could run into with the range or interference from other, jamming signals. I haven't had any problems starting my car from inside my office while my car is parked in an enclosed parking garage across the street. I'd love it if they had some more comfortable chairs in the waiting room, but everyone did an outstanding job. I appreicated how they checked and re-checked my car to make sure everything was working properly. I got a complete demonstration of how the Viper worked and I couldn't be happier. Thanks guys! Can't say enough about the excellent customer service and quality of workmanship. Jerry was very patient and responsive as my husband and I went back and forth on what we wanted. His staff was always very friendly too. He gave us estimates for several options and never made us feel like we were inconveniencing him. He is extremely knowledgeable on all of his products and explains them in layman's terms. Once we made our decision on products, he went out of his way to track down a special kit for our situation to make sure the installation looked seamless. When we picked up the car, he spent a long time with us going over the features and instructions and made sure we were comfortable before we left. I can't comment much on the actual products yet as we only picked up the car today, but the brands he carries are all top notch.
