Went to the community shredding in Culver. Good location with plenty of parking. They come over to our car with a big rolling bin, empty your documents into it and take bin back to the truck to be shredded. There is a small monitor you can see your documents being shredded and then see what it looks like when it is done. The best part is for $25 they will shred up to 7 boxes. Love their community events 'Shred Day'! Today I shredded my two years accumulated documents for 25usd only! Super friendly, polite, and professional! At first, i didn't know what community events were. I thought it was something that community organized. Then I called them and found out that it is their on-site event for shredding for anyone who has accumulated documents, like myself, for low flat rate. I'm very glad that I found them! Made an appoint over a week ago fro today between 12-2. At 2pm the truck was a no show so I called the office. Spoke to a lady on the phone who called the driver who said his truck was broken and trying to fix. I asked why he didnt let her know since he obviously has customers waiting? She had no answer. Over my best judgement, I have rescheduled for Friday 12-2 and I told her I want closer to 12 than 2! Ha! Likely! I also said if he dosen't show up I will be cancelling and using another company. The best! I would never use any other shredding service! My mom had six 30+ pound boxes of files in her garage storage bin for years. No way were we going to sit around shredding almost 200 pounds of files so they sat for 10 long years. Somewhat fortunately, last week a pipe burst in the storage bin and when I looked to see damage in the bin, I realized those stupid files were still there. I looked online for a company to come to the house and somehow found this "Community Shredding Event" at Balboa Park in Encino literally 2 minutes from my mom's house! On Wednesday I loaded the boxes in my car and scoped out the park to see where I needed to go so I could be first in line on Saturday at 2PM. I hate waiting in lines. On Saturday June 21st, I was in the parking lot off Burbank about 1/2 hour early... just in case. Also, not knowing what to expect, since each file box weighed 30-35 pounds, I brought furniture dollies to roll the boxes to wherever they needed to be. At about 1:40, I saw the truck come driving up across the parking lot from where I had parked so I moved my car closer to the truck. The very nice man brought me a garbage can and we dumped the files in. I didn't even need the dollies! He rolled the can over to the truck and I watched on the monitor as the files went in, got sucked in the shredder (which he said was confetti shredded to no more than 1/4" pieces), and these pesky files came out totally shredded. It was awesome! The whole thing took less than 10 minutes from the time we dumped the boxes into the can. I have about 30 boxes of my own files that will be going to one of these community shredding events once we get them scanned into the computer. For $25 for up to 7 file boxes, it was a total deal - well worth the money. Nice, friendly, helpful people and a great, super-reasonably priced service. I will be back for sure! [As I was the first one there, I hope more people showed up after I left because this is a wonderful service and I don't want to drive out to Culver City for the shredding event there!] THANKS so much. read more

Terrible service, they are on the fifth floor, you have to get your documents up there, they will not help you. Though they will let you borrow a cart. Awful customer service too, this is the worst shredding company, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. read more

Heaven Forbid you should need the accounting department to actually do their job. I have been assured on numerous occasions that a double payment made in 2012 would be applied to a subsequent open invoice. Now I receive a collection letter! They are either inept or practice dubious business practices. Look for ANY other company - which BTW would be about half the price. My new one is. read more

What a godsend! Moses was supportive and helpful. He shred ten years of records, much too time consuming for me to tackle myself or cart to the shredding event. I was relieved to be rid of it and without having to worry about identity theft. Everything got dumped and shredded right before my eyes! I randomly called a shredding company yesterday morning to see if they could accomodate me for a pick up for this morning. The woman on the phone was polite, infomrative, and really helpful. She quoted me a price and easy peasy lemon squeezy, they arrived on time today, helped me remove 3 large boxes and several shopping bags of shredables and within 20 minutes, all was done.
