I actually hate to give this 4 stars because the beer, food, and venue is 5+ stars. The service however was abysmal. The child that was serving us did not tell us that the kitchen was closing at 7:30pm on a Thursday and we could not order any food past this time. We tried to order an additional round of food at 7:40 and were told we could not. Thankfully, at that time we asked how to order takeout beer and they told us we better hurriedly go up to the main counter since it was last call for takeout beer as well. When we went to order crowlers of the beer that was not available for takeout in cans, the "bartender" audibly sighed before telling us each one would take 5 minutes to complete. So this is our first time here, and I didn't like it at all. The food wasn't that good. The music was way too loud. My chicken was so overcooked that it was too hard to cut with a knife. The lady came over and she said she was gonna comp my meal. I told her she didn't have to do that because I did eat the spaghetti, or atleast my son ate the spaghetti, so she gave me twenty percent off or at least she said she did, on my receipt, It says fifteen percent off. $2.70 off. The service is so bad my boyfriend had to go to the bar halfway through our meal to order a second round. When the meals came out the server said 'be careful bc the plates are hot'. The plates weren't hot at all. Actually the nachos were completely cold. The cheese was cold. They were not good. We were never checked on once after the food came out. Not once. Really poor service. We hate tipping less than 20%, but this is one of those times we have to. We will not give them a third try. It was such a disappointing meal. And they have a shit ton of staff all over this place so it doesn't make sense. Just poor management and they obviously don't care to change or make it better. We hate to be those people, but if we managed this place we would be hitting the roof with the lazy staff and half of them were on their phones. There are so many good breweries with great beer, great food and amazing staff. This is NOT one of them. It sucks bc some of the beer is really good. Currently waiting for the bill, which will probably never come. Now I know why they make you put a card on your tab before you can order bc some people probably leave after getting sick of waiting. As someone who has been coming here for at least 3 years, this was the first time where the food really didn't hit right. They must have changed the chef bc solids like poutine were prepared differently - almost like a mozzarella cheese spread across the top so that's all you tasted, vs It used to be very light melted cheese and more curds / gravy. We tried the special Swedish meatballs which were so Smokey, It overwhelmed the dish. They also switched up their pretzels and cheese, which was extra runny instead of thicker beer cheese. Definitely recommended. Nice variety of brews, true to form and well executed. Not the normal 14 IPA's and 2 spares. Highly recommend their award winning hefe as well as their Rauchbier (not a common find in the U.S.) if you care for smoked beer. Food was more than your basic bar food and very well executed. Parmesan truffle fries were excellent, especially with horseradish dipping sauce. Definitely worth a visit. read more

We six stopped in briefly for beers and soft pretzels. Super professional and friendly service from walking in the door. VERY good beer. Big open space -- very inviting. Pretzels were great, but oddly all three dipping sauces were too sweet, even the beer cheese. Cinnamon dip for a pretzel? No thanks. Honey mustard was waaaay too honey and no enough mustard. Great spot! Ventured here after a hike and quickly researched food online. Sampled a few beers which ended up being delicious, and the Caesar Salad and Bratwurst Sandwich... was fantastic. The group I was with confirmed how good their food was as well! Our service included ordering at the bar. Nice staff. I happen to judge food based off of timing as well, and we were on the verge of waiting just enough before we started to comment. What an awesome brewery!! We drove all the way from Camelback (1 hr and 15 min). It's a large brewery. Sunday they do $10.00 flights. I had their 4 IPA's. I liked them all. We are here on a Sunday and they have live music. They have a food menu, but we didn't eat. This brewery has an awesome vibe to sit and sip for a while. Pretzels and trio of sauces were a nice sharing option. I gave the pork tacos from the pilot menu a try, and I wasn't a huge fan (there was much of a standout flavor). Coordinate your visit with the 2pm pretzel eating contest if you're hungry. This is a really nice brewery and has a nice selection of beers. I visit this area ever so often to get away for a few days and this brewery is one of the highlights of the area. They have some really good beers on tap and the food is very good. The pretzel is as big as your head, nice size. Many times they have a live band, which is nice. During the warmer weather they can open the garage style window doors that lead to a nice beer garden type area. The prices here are also really good, not expensive at all. A flight of 4 beers is only like 12 or 14 bucks and is a good way to try out some different beers. They also do brewery tours on certain days, just check ahead for the hours of when they do it. Kitchen staff was super attentive but front of house staff was pretty awkward. My husband ordered an egg on his salad & was told they were out. This place was recommended by a friend and I'm very glad we went. It was Sunday early afternoon and we wanted some food and beer. We were greeted immediately by a friendly hostess named Tara (we ended up chatting and found out her name and that she has done some brewing). The place is beautiful with seating inside and outside. On Sunday they have bingo for free between 12;00-2:00 and winners get gift certificates (I'll play bingo for beer anytime). I didn't win but it was fun. I did some tastings of beer and found it enjoyable. My husband and I shared a Korean beef dish with sticky rice. It was excellent. Tara told us the Owner and brewer is female which I was so glad to hear. Very pleasant experience and I will go back if in the area. read more

This place is a waste of time and money. The food was okay I guess. You have to order your food at the bartender's counter because they apparently don't do waitress' they bring it out to you but that's about it. And it smells disgusting because the smell of beer is so strong, I've been to other breweries that don't smell like beer . There's flies everywhere and when the food was brought out there was flies flying around that too. You literally have to fight them off your plate the entire time you're eating. Asked two servers for silverware. First one acknowledged and said they'd be right back, never came. Stood up to flag down the second. She came back and said she found two forks but couldn't find knives. Tried cutting a pulled pork sandwich to split in two with a fork. Ending up on the floor. No one came to clean it up for the duration of the meal. Even worse you go up to the counter to order and pay so no one came back to apologize or even offer a comp for the sandwich that had no bites taken out of it because we couldn't get a knife for 15+ minutes. Wasn't even busy on a Saturday just to give you an idea of service or lack thereof. Management also responded to this review asking to email then completely ignored the email. Huge, inviting and industrial. There is a lot of space to move around and it allows for groups to feel spaced from their counterparts. It is intimidate enough too as a great hang out for a night out. Had a late lunch on a Thursday in early May, and was moderately impressed. Location is massive but was mostly empty at mid afternoon before peak summer season. Ordering process is unusual but I understand the logic, given the size of the place. I had a salad off the spring menu and a side of poutine, plus a small pour of the Hawley Hefeweizen (award winner, etc). Everything was tasty though not amazing. My wife and I had a nice, low-key lunch here this week. It's a big place and can get quite busy but we had hit it at a quiet time. The hamburger and pulled pork sandwiches were great.
