Their vegetarian dishes like Bhindi Masala, Dal Makhani ,Paneer Kadai , and their Veggie Biryani yum ..are absolutely amazing, and mouth watering and you can adjust the spice level just the way you like it. I always order in extra hot spiced level and it's pretty intense and I loved the feeling of clearing my sinuses . Even though I'm vegetarian now, I've tried their non vegetarian options ,in the past like Chicken biryani before and it was excellent , Their all chicken curry options so good does not contain too much masala or oil floating above the meal unlike other few restaurants that I had encountered in the past . It's deliciously blended giving that savory flavor . By the way, don't miss their other line of product "Raj original hot sauce/chutney " super savory with the perfect kick goes well basically with anything . Amazing experience! My husband and I came here on Saturday night for the first time. We were greeted by Raj who is a sincerely kind and excited owner. We had the vegetable platter to start which had a little bit of everything. My husband had the lamb korma mild which he said was the best curry he's ever had. My jaw about hit the floor when he said that! I decided on the veggie chau chau medium which was delicious and spicy. I also had an iced chai latte which was delightful. I cannot brag on this place & the ownership enough! From the moment we walked in and were greeted by Raj, the owner, we felt so welcomed and appreciated. Raj is such a delightful, kind person. Raj, the owner, happily greets you as you walk in the large, beautifully decorated restaurant. Too many choices on the menu. Each entree had many levels of heat. We ordered the Shrimp Biryani mild, Lamb Curry mild+ and the Nepal Kebab medium. The medium was a little too spicy for me, but my husband loved it. We also enjoyed everything on the appetizer vegetable platter. Lastly we chose an onion cheese and onion garlic naan. It was so delicious and delicate. As you can tell, we had way too much food. Food: 5/5 The food at Shri Ganesh is nothing short of exemplary. Every single drink, appetizer, entree, and desert is rich with flavor. My most recent visit, I had the Mango Lassi, Chicken Momos, Chicken Tikka Masala, and regular Naan. The Mango Lassi was thick and refreshing; the Momos had such a great curry flavor, and paired excellently with Raj's own hot sauce; the Chicken Tikka Masala was tender and perfectly cooked, while drowning in one of the tastiest sauces that was perfect for the warm, fluffy naan. Portion sizes were too big to finish (which is saying a lot; I've got a pretty big appetite). It's a bit expensive, but worth the price in my opinion. Service: 5/5 The service is always pretty quick; it doesn't take long to be seated, nor to have your drink and appetizer orders put in. Raj is usually there bouncing from table to table with a big smile. Shri Ganesh offers fantastic hospitality. The table is cleared intermittently to make room for the large entree plates. Orders are accurate, and there are no excessive wait times for food. Ambiance: 4/5 The interior of the restaurant is well-decorated, if sparse. The music played seems to be Indian or Nepali pop music, which is entertaining to listen to without overpowering table conversation. my family and I lived in Colorado Springs 2016-2019 and would come to Shiri Ganish for lunch sometimes two times a week. We love the clean taste of the food and flavors. We came back to Colorado Springs for a visit this week and came to Shiri Ganish. The food got even better! to our surprise, Raj the owner, has launched a line of products. My favorite is the ginger lemonade. Wow! Raj and his team at Shri Ganesh are adding tremendous value to the Colorado Springs culinary scene--one of the best meals I've had in a while! We went out for a birthday celebration, and let's just say I didn't hold back on ordering. We enjoyed a variety of dishes: Vegetable Samosa, Chana Chaat, Butter Chicken Makhani, Salmon Saag, Garlic Naan, Mango Lassi, and Gajarka Halwa (a carrot dessert). Every single dish was fantastic! The samosas were massive and beautifully prepared. Chana Chaat was a new experience for me, but the chickpeas were flavorful and truly unique. Both curries were the best I've had at a restaurant--bursting with flavor and just the right amount of heat. Notably, the salmon portions were generous and perfectly prepared. The Gajarka Halwa was also new to me, but it provided the perfect touch of sweetness to wrap up the meal. Overall, I couldn't recommend this place more. The food is phenomenal, with every dish hitting the mark. The service was great--Raj waited on us himself and offered helpful recommendations. The atmosphere was wonderful too; it's a spacious spot, so it never felt crowded. Plus, Shri Ganesh is locally owned, and running a restaurant is no small feat. My wife and I tried this spot last Friday and woweee. The atmosphere is authentic and you could tell the Owner Raj really cares about providing an exceptional experience for his customers. He was very friendly and personable when he came by our table a few times. The food! I've tried a few similar cuisines in the area and this one tops them all. The wings were super tasty and crispy as an early app. You can control the heat which is nice and the curry flavoring was very unique. The chicken vindaloo and goat curry were very flavorful and wholesome. The flavors just burst and it really makes for an enjoyable fill. WOW! I feel like I've missed out on so much in life. Today is the very first time that I've tried Indian food in my 44 years. EVERY SINGLE THING tasted so good to my Mexican taste buds. We started with the Tandoori Wings. Wifey chose mild spice. I am surprised that this isn't a popular flavor at wing places. I usually prefer dry rub flavored wings, just my preference. These were covered in one of the most delicious sauces I have ever been blessed to eat. The mix of spices, bell peppers and onion was absolutely AMAZING! Next time I would like to try them in a spicier version. Wife ordered Chicken Tikka Masala. My daughter ordered Butter Chicken. I order the Chicken Tikka Bhuna spiciest level. It was served with rice and cheesy naan bread. I bit into my meal and it was a new, unique explosion of flavor, but also felt a bit familiar. It tasted like home. I could taste that Shri Ganesh makes their food with love. The servings were more than generous, all three of us loaded up a to go container that is definitely another serving that will certainly fill us again. I don't usually have dessert but our host offered and it crossed my mind that if the appetizer and entree were as delicious as I just experienced, than for sure their dessert must be as good. Again, this was my first time having Indian food. I am not familiar at all with anything let alone dessert. I asked our host to recommend something for me. She listed off several items. We decided to share and took her recommendation of Gajarka Halwa and their Mango Kulfi. I never would have thought to order the carrot based Gajarka Halwa. It was SO good. Everything was. From start to finish. The service was excellent, we felt welcomed. The restaurant was clean and inviting. Both of the hosts were friendly and attentive. Honestly really enjoyed this place. I did takeout and they had my food ready at the counter as soon as I walked through the front door. Very friendly staff. The interior looked very clean and enjoyable. My wife doesn't do spice very much so I ordered the mildest they had. Their "mild" was essentially no spice, so for those who don't tolerate spice well, "mild" will work for you. Both the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala were VERY creamy. Some of the creamiest Indian I've had in awhile which I really liked. The flavor was very good, however I want to go back soon and get some heat in there because I know that will amp the flavor even more (I love spicy food though). My only concern is that these two dishes will definitely color your hands and teeth when you eat them lol so either prepare to brush your teeth afterwards or maybe don't go here on a first date. This place is great! Definitely a great spot for those who are new to Indian cuisine or more basic in there palate when it comes to Indian. After living within 1 mile of this restaurant for almost two years, we decided to finally give it a try. Both myself and my husband had not had Indian food in a number of years and were super excited to give it another try. When we arrived at 5:45pm, we were sat immediately. Raj was our server and I do believe he was the only server. He did an incredible job taking care of us and recommended the most delicious food. We had chicken chat for our appetizer (Raj's recommendation), which was amazing. My husband and I shared butter chicken and lamb bhuna with medium heat, paired with basmati rice and garlic naan. We are both from California and know how hard it is to get flavor here in Colorado, this is legit! The Samosa's are huge, an order of 2 can easily feed 4 people. I ordered the chicken korma, you can get mild, medium or hot. I chose medium. The lady said it would be spicy. It had a kick but nothing too much. I don't think I could handle the hot option. Medium was perfect. The chef was super friendly and kept making sure we liked everything. You can tell it's a family run business, everyone was very accommodating. I was here once before for the buffet, but this was a Saturday night. No buffet (didn't ask, not sure if they do buffet anymore). The food was very good. It was unfortunate that one of the dishes came out Hot when we asked for mild, because from the time we got there until we had our food in front of us was TWO HOURS. Part of the issue was our own, because we had a couple questions, but we couldn't get a person at our table long enough to answer them for quite a while. This delayed our being able to order, and then it was at least another hour before we were served. After all of this was said and done, and we got the bill, first of all, you don't get the bill. You don't get to see what the actual charges are. They just hand you the devise to insert your credit card where it shows you the total amount due. I thought it was a bit outrageous that the tip options were 20%, 25%, and 30%. I'm typically a 20% tipper, but NOT when I have to wait two hours for my food and they screw up one of the dishes. Yes, they offered to take it back, and my friend who preferred the mild told them they didn't need to, but after waiting two hours for our food, I wouldn't want to wait any longer for a replacement dish either. Chicken saag paneer and garlic cheese naan, super tasty. Five stars. I would skip the mushroom vegetable dish, though. Service, big fat ZERO. Actually, I think the buffet is by far the way to go, and I'm not much of a buffet fan. read more

The owner is one of the happiest, nicest people and always makes you feel welcome. I think Shri Ganesh has the best naan in town. Try the butter chicken and garlic naan. Went here late and the staff were really accommodating and kind. The food was ok. We've had better Indian food elsewhere. All their dishes tasted overly creamy like cream was a large part of the dishes. Not like other places I've been. And the cost was outrageous. Family of 5 =$200! And we got only 2 apps, 5 naan, and 4 curries. So, the staff made it a great experience, but the food wasn't that great and it was too expensive. Probably won't go back. read more
