We are from New Mexico and visiting Colorado Springs. Fun fact, it is surprising that NM has some solid Thai food. We came here because the ramen place closed early. The service here was great, and polite. We have our 13mo with us and they really were nice to her. We started off with gyoza and edamame. The gyoza is delicious and our favorite app here. Flavorful and tasty. The edamame is lightly salted, non kosher salt which is my preferred on edamame. For dinner. We got the pad Thai chicken and pad see ew. I love pad Thai, but the pad see was more flavorful. Both amazing picks and the portion sizes are huge. It's a good place to grab some food. read more

Thai smile is a restaurant that will definitely put a smile on your face. The service was excellent and attentive, and the place is very clean. We order the sampler plate and everything on there was fried to perfection and the dipping sauces paired very well with all the items. We also had the Pad See U dish with beef, which had a good umami flavor. For dessert we tried the fried bananas with ice cream because the mango sticky rice wasn't in season, but it was a good second choice. This is one of my family's favorite go to Thai spots in Colorado Springs and it's worth a visit. read more

My hubby's favorite Thai restaurant in this area! And 2nd fave in the County! The restaurant itself is nicely kept and very clean with comfortable seating. The service is prompt and very friendly. Their lunch specials are amazing. My husband always gets the veggie delight with white rice and tofu. Today, I decided to try the L1 garlic pepper tofu. We also ordered some steamed dumplings, which came in a peanut sauce that was delicious. Feels like they mixed up the salt and sugar containers. Larb was too sweet to eat. Curry was so sweet it couldn't be finished, even when doused with sriracha. Inedible. We were across the street playing miniature golf and we're looking for a close place for lunch. Thai Smile was right across the street and looked good so we gave it a try. From the moment we walked in the service was wonderful. We were the only ones dining in, but they were doing a lot of take out. Our drinks were constantly being refilled and they were great with the kids. We ordered a bunch of different things and ate family style so we could try them all. We got the steamed potstickers and the gyoza both were delicious! For the entrees we got the lunch special Pad Thai and Cashew Chicken, we also ordered the kids chicken fried rice. Both were absolutely delicious! If we lived in the area we would definitely be back. Stoked to have another Asian restaurant close by. Picked up lunch today. It was ok. I was leaning toward two stars because I've definitely had better Thai food. But the server who greeted me when I walked in was very welcoming. The restaurant is just across the street from Lost Island mini golf so it would make a nice date night spot. And another reason for an A-OK 3 stars was the green curry was quite nice. Here's why I can't award more stars... The pad Thai just tasted greasy vs. saucy. Portions were on the small side even for lunch. And the green curry which tasted great had dry chicken, strange. The cheese wontons were on the under cooked side. Seafood taste good but I don't understand why you can never order more vegetarian food especially at an Asian restaurant. Big step up in sophistication. I had the drunken noodles and Tom yum soup, both with tofu. The drunken noodle were flavored beautifully, with a generous amount of tofu and vegetables. The vegetables were perfectly cooked with just the lightest crunch. I ordered both with medium spice and I thought it was perfect. Sooooo good. We ordered through DoorDash and it was delicious. Dragon king was our favorite, but this one definitely beat them. Went to Thai Smile for the first time and we enjoyed everything we had. I am a bit biased when it comes to Thai food since I grew up with authentic Thai food cooked by my family. It has been hard finding a good Thai restaurant here in Colorado Springs but Thai Smile did not disappoint! We had the appetizer sampler, drunken noodles, pad Thai and sticky rice and mangos. Each dish had the right amount of flavor and not too sweet like many other Thai places you will find around town. I highly recommend giving this cute little gem a try! The service was amazing. The restaurant was clean and the ambiance was great. It is tucked away in a location that may be easily missed but once you give them a try I am sure you will not be disappointed! Had the drunken noodles and a panang curry with white rice. The drunken noodles were good, however the curry tasted like the milk dregs after a bowl of sweet cereal--way too sweet. Disgustingly sweet. I will also note that the water for drinking had a strange flavor--I think it may have been a plastic taste, but I'm not sure. The place is full of light and cheerful and the server was very friendly and helpful. Also the crab rangoon instead of egg roll was a nice change of pace. read more

I'm not sure if this was the owner or a server but his name was J.C. And he was FANTASTIC and very attentive to our needs. Super friendly, and just perfect for the job. We ended our meal with the mango sticky rice, which I cannot stress enough, do not sleep on this. The mango was so fresh and sweet, the coconut sauce was perfection. I would give 10 stars if I could! My husband has been living in the area for about 15 years and he said this is his favorite Thai restaurant, which says a lot because they are on every corner. And they are on the newer side!
