Let's go over the good part: quick service. Everything was made to order and came out very quickly. We had trouble using the online ordering so just ended up calling it in and it was ready within 10-15 mins. They've gotten their menu down pat, simple but has all the regular food options you want in a seafood food truck. The food was mediocre. I had the fried fish taco, and my family ordered the fried fish and fried shrimp plate. The plates came with fries and tartar and cocktail sauce. Fries were not seasoned, pretty lackluster and limp but plenty of it! The fish was thin and overly battered, but it came with 2 large pieces. The fish taco was decent but just overly stuffed with cabbage but decently flavored. Ok for a quick pop in if this is exactly what you're in the mood for. Their shrimp tacos are delicious. I usually order that along with fries and a side of coleslaw. The fries are ok, but the coleslaw is pretty good. If you like Hush Puppies, you'll enjoy theirs. It's standard, no variations away from what you'd expect from a Hush Puppies. The fried shrimp is decent, not much to talk about. Overall, the food is ok. A bit too greasy for my liking. The price for the tacos is now $6 instead $5. It's listed incorrectly on the menu. And, you get one taco for that price. The service is fast. You don't have to worry about waiting long for your food. The food truck is located near a convenience store, so you'll have no problem getting something to drink along with your order. It's also located across the street from a public beach entrance. read more

Shrimp gumbo was like opening a container of shrimp sludge mixed with fish tank water. Not a gumbo at all, the shrimp is mushy in texture that you could easily cut it with a spoon and gritty due to not being cleaned properly. Got some shrimp shells too. read more

Food was good , I felt bad I called about 10 times because we had a family of 8 calling in orders . But we heard good things and this place hit the spot ! They shorted us a gumbo and shrimp po boy but the guy working realized right when we called that he forgot it , it was a honest mistake. It happens with large orders , he let us try the best item on the menu which was also delicious. It was like a 5 min drive from where we were staying so we had no complaints! Fried shrimp were really fresh and perfectly cooked just like at either of their two brick and mortar restaurants. Also, fast and convenient. It's nice that you can be on the far west end of the island and get some Shrimp & Stuff food. Possibly the best seafood tacos I've ever had. All of the ingredients tasted fresh, and the tacos were a good size. My least favorite might have been the crab balls, but then again, I'm not the biggest fan of fried crab. Overall, if you want to compare to what else is around I suppose the food is just fine. If you were looking for something outstanding, probably not the spot for that. The Shrimp n Stuff food truck is awesome! Last time I was in Galveston, we drove all the way into town to eat at Shrimp n Stuff. It was great. But we had no idea they had a food truck with just as good (if not better food) at the front of the neighborhood. I tried the Shrimp Po Boy and Gumbo and both were excellent. The Po Boy had the perfect amount of shrimp. Some places add too much shrimp, making it impossible to eat (first world problems much?). The shrimp also tasted great. The Gumbo was great too. While the gentleman working the truck seemed a bit overwhelmed and less than happy to be there, the fried fish tacos, grilled shrimp tacos and hush puppies were all very delicious and fresh. Unfortunately I didn't check the order before I drove off which was a mistake on my part. Got back to the resort I was staying at and realized that the onion rings and coleslaw that I had ordered and paid for had not been placed in the bag with the rest of my order. Found this place while staying locally in a rental and playing on the beach. Drove by several times but it kept catching my eye as I typically prefer to eat locally, especially when on vacation. The two guys working Tuesday afternoon were polite and quick to take/complete my order. I ordered the grilled shrimp tacos and an order of the fried crab balls. The shrimp tacos were plentiful with both shrimp and cooked well. The crab balls were likened to a hush puppy with crab inside and tasted fine. The price was acceptable and the food was fair to good. Needed a place to go after a morning at the beach, we were all in swimsuits so this was perfect. The fish tacos are really generous, I could have probably just had one and been full. I didn't have any, but everyone else said the fried shrimp was really good as well. I am not really a food truck person but this was actually some of the better food we have had while here.
