There are also paths that go into the wooded area that looked pretty, although we didn't go down that section. Lots of parking and a super nice park for the kids! We also appreciated that had bathrooms available and spots to give your dogs water, too. All around a great park! We look forward to returning in the future!

With dad's lining up to make kids go faster if they ask to. Many shaded areas for parents to be within running distance if something happens. This park is a new favorite of ours. It's big and has lots to do. Also, a different selection of…read morestructures than we've found on other playgrounds. Probably the most unique thing is what my husband calls the zip line. I've frequently found the handle bar you hang from and whiz across a level bar about 7 ft. Long. This is a similar idea. But instead of a handle bar, there is a long pole with a circular seat at the bottom. This seat hangs about a foot and a half from the ground. Depending on height, size, age, ability you can decide to either sit or stand on this seat. My two year old boy sat on it with no problem. But considering my large belly getting in the way, I decided to stand. Anyway, this thing is twice as long as any other I've seen! And it's like a very wide "V" shape. So it gives to momentum in the first half to make it back up through the second. So fun!! Other unique attractions include a SUPER long slide (not actually very steep, but at the top of a hill and quite long - some families bring paper to sit on in order to slide faster), statues of large turtles and one of those large disc swings. Such a fun place! I take my boy here when we're in the area.

They're situated right next to the swings, while the playground is a little further away. This playground had some unique features that made it different from others we've found. They have also added a little wetlands area nearby to explore. The park features a splash pad, a gym structure, swings, tennis courts, baseball fields, picnic shelter, bathrooms, and plenty of green space. My kids enjoy the splash pad and have become braver with it. They also like the playground. The slides and ground get really hot during the summer so I'd wish they'd do something about that. I think the playground is a decent size, but pretty small during the very busy summer months. I like that the splash pad is open and my kids can run around and still be easily spotted. They have ample parking even with daycare/camp buses.

This place, as the other reviewer mentioned so kindly (helped me to find it!) is off of the beaten path and if you don't know where it is you will most likely miss it. Even my GPS couldn't find the address! You just have to know it is across the street from Bills Donuts, up the hill a little and to the right. There is a concrete sign at the corner that lets you know it's time to turn! The park itself is a decent size with a lot of variety within it's walls. You can play ball, take a stroll in the grass, enjoy their really fun looking water park area I am assuming comes on once it is hot enough outside. There is a really modern well maintained play area for kids with a working water fountain (pretty rare these days, eh?) and really unique elements within the play structure like the huge rocking booth see-saw for example. I would have gone crazy for this place as a kid! I took a ton of photos and posted them to the listing, if you want to get a better idea of the play structure. It really is wonderful, I highly recommend a visit! We drive 30 minutes out of our way for it once a month, and it's always an enjoyable experience.

She screamed at me and said that's not their policy. I said then I want my money back she said I can't do that. I left very upset. The next day my husband and I went back. We literally took 2 steps in the door and she screamed at me and said I told you yesterday that I couldn't do anything for you . My husband said the receipt said we had 7 days she retorted THAT'S NOT OUR POLICY ! We all started hollering and she said we were in her personal space and she was calling the sheriff. We were on the other side of the counter! She kept repeating this so we left. THIS is customer service ? This girl needs to be fired! We will never go back to the Fairborn store again. We've talked to another Cricket store on Wilmington and that nice young man said he will do anything we need. By the way we are elderly people. She really does need to be FIRED !!!

There's a gazebo and a swing that makes things feel evening a little romantic. Also, how fun is it to see deer everywhere? My little boy loves the playground near the main parking lot. Google took me right there, but I felt like I was not going in the right direction. It's in a residential area and the parking area is not what I was thinking of compared to other MetroParks. About that parking area, there is not a lot of parking. It's a super small lot with maybe 15-20 spots and the day we went was fairly busy. We got lucky and found a place, but I could see a lot of people giving up and not visiting because of the lack of parking. The park itself it beautiful. It's pretty small, but well maintained. There are hiking trails, a playground area, green space, bathrooms, and picnic shelters. The park backs up to one of the golf courses in the Dayton area. The playground area is so neat. It offers a traditional play area and a nature play area. It's covered by a lot of trees so it provides great shade. They also have a giant sandpit. I do wish they had more swings by the actually playground. It made it hard to keep an eye on my older one and still let me little guy swing. Overall a really cool park and one we will return too!

The trail itself is pretty much an out-and-back route with a couple of side trails that go into the neighborhoods or just an alternate route. While the vast majority of the trail is "in the woods", the park is sandwiched between the golf course and the houses but (at least while I was there) the area was pretty quiet. Admittedly, it was a cool winter morning without much sunshine. In any case, the area seems to be a popular place for walking or hill running, either on the trails or the park road. This park, while not one of the largest or most secluded, is a great place for a quick escape. This trailhead has a playground, a pavilion, and bathrooms. It also is located in the middle of a neighborhood so easily found. Check it out.

There is a convenient tent to keep warm next to the rink and a snack shop next to the ticket booth overing hot coco, soft pretzels / nachos and cheese https://www.metroparks.org/ice-rink/ I noticed that I definitely wasn't taking as many risks, but could still skate. I loved bringing my little one, and that there were green plastic skating gliders for beginners. You can rent skates but if you buy your own your feet probably won't hurt after 30 minutes of skating. Nicole had a cramp in one of her feet from the skates she rented.
