The massage started at my feet and worked all the way up to my scalp, which I found to be an unusual sequence. I've had many massages over the years, and I've never experienced one done in that order, so it felt a bit odd. The pressure remained too light throughout, and I kept hoping it would improve, but it never did. I paid for a 90-minute session and, honestly, I was ready to leave after the first 20 minutes. To top it off, at the end of the massage I was handed a dry towel to wipe the massage oil off myself, which felt unusual and took away from what should have been a relaxing experience. The spa itself is beautiful, and the receptionist was warm and welcoming, which made for a great first impression. I just wish the massage had matched the quality of the rest of the experience.

He found an opening for the following afternoon. He was accommodating and even took us on a tour of the place. We arrived the next day and Scott greeted us, brought us to the Room of Tranquility and gave us Tea. We met Aaron and Logan. They asked how we would like the pressure and brought us to the room. Both of our massages were just as we requested. We had every muscle worked and were so relaxed. They asked how we were doing throughout our treatments ensuring we were okay. They were meticulous to work out all the kinks. Super Job!! The whole experience was how we wished it to be. Ahhhhhh!!! We will be back!!! Thank You St. Pierre Massage & Spa Team!! 5-Star.

They informed me that they would charge her card anyway so I went there so my friend would not get charged. They charged $35 for me to put my foot in a bucket of water for 15 minutes. I am not happy with this place nor the policy and I will never be back here. I asked a worker is this all the service she said yes I put my foot in the water for 6 minutes and left. This is a reply to the answer that they wrote on me, I was not late. They asked me to come in 15 minutes early so I could check out with my other friends who had the nerve to stay there. They were very rude and nasty and was upset because I am telling the truth. I would not recommend this place to a dog! Horrible

I have had a few massages in the past mostly to help recover after athletic marathon events. Last July after returning from doing the Telluride CO to Moab mt bike route I was stiff, and my wrists ached constantly. I had heard about Julie and went to spa where she was working. it was a bit dingy and i was suspect about how often they charged the sheets but the price was reasonable and she came highly recommended. I was very happy with the work she did on my calves back shoulders and wrist . She not only addressed the obvious knots but found old injuries and was able to get to the root of sone chronic issues. Recently I was delighted to see that she had opened her own studio in Dr Arellano's Gitali Institute. Besides being very clean and among other medical professionals the ambiance is relaxing and has a good vibe. If you are an athlete or a person looking for wholistic remedies for pain, fatigue or chronic conditions Check this place out. read more

Living in the valley you get a custom to paying high prices for a massage. I thought what kind of massage can you get for half the price. Well I have to say it was the best massage I have ever had in my life. I booked a 60min. Relax and Balance. I had Julie as my massage therapist, she was so kind and caring. My massage didn't feel rushed, she paid great attention to my needs. I especially appreciated her gratefulness of me being there. Such a refreshing change from the sometimes entitled behavior of most over priced massage therapist. I recently had a massage with Julie (Shumin.) It was the best massage I've had in Napa. The environment is soothing and Julie"s massage technique, skill, and professionalism are amazing. She combined elements of Swedish, Chinese, and Thai massage, resulting in a fantastic massage. Her use of the hot rocks on my back (no extra charge!) was also a real treat. Very friendly and polite. Shumin greeted me. I was early for my appointment. She had me get in room and started my massage then the Mary took over when she was available! And give me my session. She was very intuitive and always kept in contact with me about the pressure to make sure that it wasn't too much or if it was enough. Overall it was a very good massage. Touched me in inappropriate area twice and felt very uncomfortable. Only focused on massaging buttocks inappropriately during hour massage. Highly do not recommend this place. I emailed the business after my appointment and was told a refund would be issued, however, the opposite occurred.... I was disappointed with how my concerns were handled after my visit. I reported that I felt uncomfortable during the massage, but instead of acknowledging my experience, the response focused on the fact that I completed the session and left a tip, implying that my concerns were less valid. Many people do not feel comfortable speaking up in the moment, especially during a vulnerable situation like a massage. What was even more disappointing was being offered only a partial refund of $47.50 and being asked to remove my review in exchange for receiving it. Rather than addressing my concerns and taking responsibility for my experience, it felt like the business was trying to make the review disappear. I believe customer feedback should be taken seriously, especially when it involves a client feeling uncomfortable during a service. She never responded to my email after stating she would issue a refund. DO NOT GO HERE

It has been over a month and after a trip expensive trip to the ER and time, it is mostly feeling healed. It was Excessive Pressure. The owner offered an apology and had a conversation with the therapist about the incident she stated. No refund was ever given and all communication ceased. It is probably not worth contacting an attorney at this point. ($1600 ER bill) and many days of pain, but an expensive lesson. Higher priced massages does not necessarily equate to higher quality.
