The facilities were nice and the receptionist the first time I went was very kind and personable. My massage was pretty mediocre however I was looking to give this place another try with a different masseuse. She talked to me about a membership and the timing of appointments. She said they had a 20 minute grace period because I said I would likely be coming from work and running late. She said it wouldn't be an issue at all, if I was late the session would just be shorter. I made an appointment to go back for a sauna and was planning on signing up for the membership the receptionist had told me about. I was running late and tried to reach the spa. Scott left me a message. I called back. Scott returned my call and was immediately rude. He said since it was 15 minutes past my appointment he turned off the sauna and would charge me. It wasn't even 15 minutes into the appointment but I apologized and said I understood. He then said there was an issue that I personally blocked the charge and needed to fix it immediately. I obviously hadn't had the chance to block the charge while I was on the phone with him but still apologized. He continued to be rude while I just apologized. I wanted a solution he wanted to be upset. I would never consider going back. read more

Anniversary Couples Massage in NAPA On our 42nd Anniversary stay in Napa we checked through Yelp to find a suitable spot. We had checked on two locations but they weren't able to schedule us until the following week. We found St. Pierre on Yelp and decided to walk-in whilst out touring Napa. Scott kindly greeted us as we entered. He asked how he might help us. We indicated we were in town for just a few days and wanted a couples message. He was very hospitable and checked the calendar. He found an opening for the following afternoon. He was accommodating and even took us on a tour of the place. We arrived the next day and Scott greeted us, brought us to the Room of Tranquility and gave us Tea. We met Aaron and Logan. They asked how we would like the pressure and brought us to the room. Both of our massages were just as we requested. We had every muscle worked and were so relaxed. They asked how we were doing throughout our treatments ensuring we were okay. I'm not a 'massage person' but I needed a neck massage after my vehicle was rear-ended over the weekend, and St. Pierre offered that targeted service. I decided to give St Pierre a try on a recommendation from a friend. I have serious neck pain and tension and I'm so glad I went. I booked a 30 min neck, back shoulder massage with Scott and he was amazing. He explained everything and gave me tips for after care and how to minimize the tension. I felt bad because I arrived a few minutes late but he took care of me and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Nonetheless, the receptionist was able to squeeze us in based on our schedule: Now thats good customer service! St. Pierre is on Clay & California across from the Embassy Suites. Michelle the owner was my masseuse, and she was excellent. She was very proactive in asking questions, as well as when I said it was too much pressure. BTW, the foregoing never happens. Michelle worked on my numerous knots during my 80 minute deep tissue massage ($145). I have had this massage at hotel spas, and Michelle was much better at a lower price. I wished I lived closer so I could see her on a regular basis. If you are looking for a reasonably priced massage w/o all the froo froo of a hotel spa, St. Pierre does the trick. Second time coming here. I enjoyed my swedish massage the first time, that I thought I would come back and surprise my hubby with a spa day. He got a deep tissue, 90 min from Tricia and I did the 90 min, neck, back, arms and shoulders by Christian. I definitely recommend this place- very worth it!!! Christian paid attention to my aching shoulders and back. He added just enough pressure (checking on me and asking how it was) and worked out some kinks in my neck and shoulder areas. I told him I have a desk job and most of my tension are in those areas. Hubby got a deep tissue and he felt Tricia did an excellent job with the pressure, pressure points and muscles. The spa has a quiet room that is private and has a small waterfall fountain that makes you relaxed. The spa room we had was clean, dim, and had just enough relaxing scent in it. Got the Travelzoo deal for pedi and massage. Steve is the person to talk to in booking the appts...he is super accommodating and funny. Since we had 3 in our party, he was able to work around our appts and fit everyone in on a Friday nite. Since our party was coming from the East Bay, he was able to fit us all in a 2 hr window period by have the two have their massages while the other has their pedi. I had switched my pedi to a mani since I was not in need of one yet..for a $45 value mani, it was pretty short, probably under 30min with a great mani but I would think it usually comes with a finger and arm massage...I did get one, but it was not much of a massage, more like a pat or hold, not even a squeeze...I would not pay $45 for mani. However, my sister did get the pedi and said it was worth it. Good thing I had my massage to follow. Marvin was fantastic. He had buttery but solid strength hands. He concentrated on the areas I specified and the intensity was firmly vigorous but not overwhelming. I hope I get Marvin again since I will be returning towards the end of the month with my friend. This review is quite overdue, but trust me when I say that I still vividly remember my experience at St. Pierre's. Unfortunately. First off, no place is a sketchy strip mall complex should charge the prices they do there. I've paid the same prices at nice spas in LA for higher quality massages. Not to mention these other places had real walls instead of flimsy dividers and actually offered robes to their patrons. When it comes to massages, firmer pressure equals better. It was at St. Pierre's that I learned that this is not always the case. Imagine a pair of rough, calloused hands performing a deep-tissue massage on you. Not relaxing in the least. On the flip side, St. Pierre's was able to accommodate our request for same-day appointments, and my friend thought her massage (w/ a different therapist) was great. Been here twice. From what I remember, I think I still preferred the first time I arrived here. Pro: Their service is absolutely wonderful - they are kind and attentive the first moment you step into their shop. They even suggest things for you to try, if you are indecisive. They offer monthly specials, and if it happens to fall on your birthday, an extra treat for free. This month, they offered a "facial money" of $20. Their waiting room is quite relaxing, and you get cucumber water and hot tea (sorry, no green tea - you get a choice of chamomile or chai) They accept spa gift certificates that you can get from Costco. You can bundle it up and just give it to them. :D They have great facials - their signature facial is a must. You feel wholly pampered and it comes with shoulder and hand/arm massages. They now offer slippers and robes to their customers - recently added. The slippers could be better, and the robes are fairly okay...I think. Easy to find place, but yes, it is on a strip mall. However, like I said earlier - the ambiance and the decor heavily make up for it. Besides, why complain when it's easy to find? XD I do enjoy the online booking, and calling them is probably even more convenient in my eyes (I seriously do prefer booking online, so this is saying something). They are quite kind and patient with you every step of the way. They try to accommodate you as much as they can so you don't feel overwhelmed. Con: Their back massage could have been better. Both times was not as wonderful, as others that I have tried. However, when they do get to certain areas (the foot and hand/arm) they are very talented in those critical areas. Shoulder/back - not so much. I still have kinks. Perhaps if I tried a deep tissue and not the swedish? Another is the dividers between rooms - you seriously can hear other people, even when they whisper. Not comforting. Reflexology: Not a great location to hold it at. Pro on reflexology: It did feel great, and they give you an iPod nano to listen to while they perform the massage. I think it makes up the odd sensation of people being able to see you through the window. Overall: I would suggest this place to others for a visit. If you want a place to relax and be at peace - this is the place for you. I think I would go back, but it is a bit too far for my convenience. Perhaps another time. It took me about two years, but I finally made it back to see if St. Pierre could redeem the negative experience I had previously. I was ready for my massage. In fact, I was in a car accident last week, so my neck, shoulders, and back needed even more attention than usual. Andre was the one who took care of me this time. I told him that my sore areas would probably need most of his attention. Can you say drool? Andre spent the most of the time working on the areas I requested, and I was put into a relaxed stupor. I tip my hat to Michelle for her desire to make sure all of her customers leave St. Pierre satisfied. She even called me after my return to double check that everything went well. Ahhh! I love this place! First, the pricing is super reasonable especially for what you get. The monthly subscription is definitely the way to go for me for self care. And when I schedule in advance I have it to look forward to! The girls at the front desk, I don't know their names but shall refer to them as the "Dream Team" are always super pleasant, cheerful and accommodating. The music, ambiance, amenities, cucumber water... all of it is lovely! And then there's my favorite masseuse! She's delivering the best massages this seasoned massage getter has ever had! She always makes sure that I'm comfortable, she zeros in on what's bothering me, perfect pressure, super professional and highly skilled. My boyfriend and I visited Napa for a weekend, so we decided to get a massage here. The entire spa has a very calm and relaxing vibe as soon as you walk in. The decor consists of a lot of earthy tones and dim lighting. There is calm music quietly playing in the background at all times. It is a very relaxing environment, which was perfect. I booked us the couples massage, which consisted of 30 minutes in the sauna plus an 80 minute full body massage. Total price was about $174, not including the masseuse's tip The customer service was excellent. The receptionist (sorry, I don't remember her name) was very friendly and helpful. She brought us cucumber water and robes to change into before bringing we began our sauna session. She even showed us how to use the technology in the sauna to control the lighting, music, etc. The only thing was, for the price I paid, I expected more out of the massage. Once they found out my boyfriend wasn't happy with his first massage Michelle the spa director reached out and went above and beyond to fix that. I really felt we were valued customers even though that was only our first time there. So we came back today to give them another try and boy are WE glad we did. My bf had Jessica and she was awesome He likes a lot of pressure and she really delivered he was so happy after the massage. I had Carl and he was amazing this massage was even better than my first! I came here after my sister bought me a gift certificate and recommended this place. Boy and I glad she did. I went in a little apprehensive as I had never had a massage before. But they brought me back to the quite room and offered tea or water while I waited. I loved the feel of it and it really got me ready for an experience. The gal that gave me my massage was Nia and she was just perfect. She was incredibly nice and listened to exactly what I wanted. She applied the perfect amount of pressure that I needed for all of my knots and pained areas. She also was able to get out a big gross knot that sits at the back of neck with ease. She was the best. Then I went off to the sauna which was amazing. They have single person saunas that you get to choose which program you would like in. Best place for massage in Napa! I'm a member here, so I go at least once a month for massage. So far I found six of their masseuse awesome! In the past year alone, I only encountered 2 who were just okay in the 12 visits I've gone. I brought my BF and mom here at difference times in the past and they, too, love their massages. Owners really care about your experience and it shows. The space is quiet and serene and they take the silence seriously. This is definitely a departure from many of the spa establishments in Napa where there's a constant party atmosphere. If you want to celebrate a bachelorette party in a spa, this place is probably not for you (unless your group can be quiet). I love that they are open late everyday and that they have a number of masseuse/urs to chose from. You can also book online. One thing you should know is that they don't have showers or any spa tub, but they do provide you with a very hot towel at the end of the massage, so you don't end up all icky oily. read more

Basically, I told her this is what I do.. this is where it hurts and she worked her magic. The spa is clean & relaxing. I like that they use hot towels and warming pads. The only thing I'd say is that there is some construction going on outside so if you're someone who is sensitive to sound and cares about that, there is some faint beeping in the distance from heavy machinery operating outside. Had my first massage EVER; Jennifer was my massage therapist. She was absolutely amazing, she worked all of the areas I had mentioned that were bothering me, she seriously turned me into a relaxed ball of mush - AMAZING. I added the cold stone face treatment which was refreshing and a good choice. The spa itself is tranquil and relaxing. Soothing music, smells, and colors surround you and put you in a state of zen before you even start your session. Parking is easy and free. The staff here are very friendly but unfortunately the deep tissue massage was disappointing. The masseuse was the sweetest lady but I don't think she'd ever given a deep tissue massage before! Twice I had to confirm it was deep tissue because it felt like a gentle rub down. Finally I just kept asking her to increase the pressure until it actually felt like a deep tissue. I asked her roughly 8 or 9 times before that happened. Even then at times it felt like she knew what she was doing and other times it felt like she was applying pressure randomly. Maybe she just needs more training? I appreciate that she tried her best, but unfortunately for me I really need someone who knows how to get in there and bust up my knots! read more

You'd think a spa would be located in a luxurious quaint downtown area of Napa downtown.....um......no......St Pierre is conveniently located in the run down Riverpark Shopping Center next to Carl's Jr and an abandoned grocery store. I was planning a romantic getaway with my boyfriend and decided to plan a last minute weekend in Napa. And of course the hotel we're staying at didn't have any appt available for couples massages :( So Friday night (we're leaving for napa Saturday) I called a bunch of massage places in napa and left messages asking about availability. At 8am the next day... st pierre called. whoo hoo they're available! We arrive at 3pm (got a been drunk beforehand by downing our complimentary bottle of wine at the hotel). The pouring rain didn't stop us...but it did adversely effect our sense of direction. We were greeted (by name) and offered cucumber water. The place was very nicely decorated and the staff was extremely professional. Then they led us inside the "quiet" area while we waited and then were greeted by two women who were gonna do our couples massage. It was dark and warm with soothing sounds through out the whole place. The girls that did our massages where amazing! St. Pierre has great specials so I took advantage of their Queen for a Day Mother's Day Special for $285 where I received a 90 min massage with back glow (scrub) and pineapple aromatherapy, facial, and 50 min reflexology. I had a very pleasant experience, but there are details that make this place different from other places I've tried: -there are no showers or a whirlpool -there are no fruit/snacks (my appt was 3 1/2 hours long so be prepared) -there is a selection of tea and cucumber water (my favorite) -you have to whisper inside the treatment area because the rooms are really just one partitioned big room which makes it hard for me to hear -the back glow was a quick scrub on my back (nothing like the Korean bath houses) -pineapple aromatherapy isn't my favorite -reflexology is held in the front where the reception is and you're given ear phones with music to drown out the parade of traffic noise that comes in and out of what seems like the only entrance/exit to the strip mall; there's a lot of traffic noise -I wish they had a room where I could just have a cup of tea after my appt instead paying the bill and leaving. -cell phones must be turned off - BIG PLUS -St. Pierre accepts Spa Finder gift certificates - yeah! read more

My sister and I came here for a couples massage as well. She was getting married the next day and we wanted to come here for some pre-wedding pampering. I found them on Spafinder and they had this wonderful promotion for extra treatments and a 90 minute massage. We ended up getting the back glow, skin food, and the cold stone facial massage. Everything was wonderful. My sister's therapist was Maxine and mine was Teneal and they were wonderful!!! My sister and I thought it was the best massage we've ever gotten and we've had massages from all over. Teneal specializes in prenatal massage. Funny thing is that the St. Pierre Center is located in a strip mall. But once you enter the quiet room... you feel like you are miles away.... My sister now says she will only get massages at strip mall, since this experience was so awesome. I was recently given a gift card and found this spa via Yelp. After reading several great reviews about their Maternity Massage, I booked an appointment. When I walked into their lobby, I was greeted warmly and kindly. The quiet waiting area is really lovely and I immediately started to feel relaxed! Because I'm a hormonal mess, I was expecting to cry through my whole massage so I felt a little bad for Natalia before our session started. Luckily, her quiet demeanor and gentle touch meant I didn't cry once! The room was really calming and I was able to let go of a lot of the tension I have been carrying around these last 6 months.
