I was on the west side for lunch, and stopped in here. It was around 11:30 on a Wednesday, and I was the only customer in the store. Very clean. I ordered a regular hot wing combo; that is 6 wings, fries, and a drink for $7.22 after tax. They cooked everything in view of the dining room. Wings were split 3/3, not sure if by design or accident. They were given to me hot, and still fairly wet, which i believe is the best that wings can be. The sauce stayed on the wings instead of running all over the paper. Truth be told, I would have prefered even a little wetter, because I like to dip my fries in the leftover sauce. However, I did not request it, and I am certain that is "too wet" for most people. As is, they were probably straight up perfect. Fries were very 5guys like, right down to the little styrofoam cup. Portions were more reasonable than at 5guys, definately a single person order. Heinz ketchup. Coke products, including PibbXtra. Not a freestyle machine. I was tempted to order a larger size, but the regular made a decent meal for one. I doubt anyone would be sharing this, however. Headed to Florida from DC and while driving hopped on yelp to find a spot to grab some wings and keep kicking down the road. I found WingYard which had good reviews and prices. The place is small so dont expect to come in and enjoy your wings here . They have a window bar that seats about 5-6 people . OK soooo We got in ordered 20 wings - Lemon Pepper Cashier says they are out of lemon pepper . It was about 2pm the place just opened at 11 and no other customers in sight . SO we decide on another flavor Cajun and BBQ . The cashier offered us a discount in which I would get anyway for checking on the app so it wasn't really any additional off . I do appreciate her offering it though. It's hot so we ask to order drinks and she says its not working they are out of ice . Hmmmm dead center of the South no ice well okay lol. After that I cant recall what else we requested but they were out of that as well so at this point it just became a joke . How I wanted to rate this place low I couldn't because ..... The Cajun wings were A1 ! Theplace was clean as well. The cook prepared them crispy and the flavor did not lack at all . BBQ was good but that's a typical flavor so it didn't really stand out . They didn't charge extra for ranch which was also appreciated as sooo many places here in the DMV charge additional prices to get more. This place has potential if it markets itself more as it sits in a weird location beside a gas station not on a main road. Tumbs up for the Food ! Hands down one of the best burgers in Newnan, it's clean and the service fast and friendly which is a good reason to stop in but those burgers are juicy and made to order awesome. So I had previously written that it was great. But i would like to RETRACT that. Yeah the food is good and all, but i just got off the phone with Wing Yard. First, I was told there was a 'problem' with my order, so I called. The lady who answered the phone 'dis be Wing Yard, what do you want', then I explained to her that I received an email stating there was an issue with my order, let me be clear as to what I ordered; I ordered a signature burger ($7.45) with add-ons totaling $2.50, a drink and fries totaling my order, with tip, to be $12.30. I was then told that I could NOT add on anything to 'signature burgers' and that 'he' said I couldn't. I asked if 'he' was a manager I could talk to and she proceeded to tell me that 'he', Anthony, was a cook, and that the manager 'oh we got a manager but he ain't never here'. So, of course perplexed as to why I would be told I couldn't add items (which makes them more money), I again asked why I couldn't do it, and she said 'well that's just what he said, but he said since you already paid he would do it this time, but he wont do it next time.'. Needless to say, I will not be spending any more money with this company. Great food, horrible service, I am sure there will be a lougy in my food today. HAHA read more

Writing a new review since the business ownership changed. After eating here 4-5 times since, I felt it was the time. I hate to say that I may not be back again after today. The wings just aren't the same. They are not crispy anymore, even though I asked for well done. And they just don't taste the same, to me. They are kind of breaded looking. What is worse are the fries though. Where there used to be hand cut fresh fries that were really great, now there are frozen crinkle fries that really tasted bad this time. Too bad. Then there is the customer experience. Nice enough i guess but hard to communicate with. It seems they are always a little too busy and stressed to listen or care. And don't bother calling in an order for pickup. You might as well wait to order when you get there as, it seems, that they won't finish out your order until you actually come in. All I can guess is that they want to make sure maybe that you really are going to come in and pay for it. All it does though is make the customer wait. I am only going off the 3 times it happened that way where I gave it plenty of time, then arrived to only be asked about the order and then them preparing it. And finally, the discount I have tried to use that they will not honor, but that they seem to promote. There are "next order" discounts on their receipts, since the new owners took over, on their website, and even right here on yelp -20%- that they will not honor. When asked they just say we don't do that- that was the last owner. Well get rid of the references to it then. Oh well, on to the next place. read more
