It was O.K. The establishment is very casual, friendly and great for families or just a casual meet up with friends. They have a few selections of beer and soft drinks. The pizza is reasonably priced anywhere between $20-29 for a 16 inch which can feed 3-4 adults. I just wasn't really impressed with the flavor. But they serve really good fried pickles. read more

Still getting my Friday night pizzas here and things are still excellent and some changes and improvements have happened. They by far are the gold standard when it comes to consistency. This is critical, and every pizza is constantly prepared with quality. Well they did raise the prices of the pizzas by a $1 which I'm not happy with but they did change their POS system and orders can be placed on the mobile app. With this, now the option to add or remove toppings from one of their specialty pies can be done on the app. However removing a topping and adding a different one is not REPLACING said topping. You are charged for adding another. Why can't you just fix this and make it fair? Why the games with the toppings? It's ripping off customers. I have tried their boneless wings finally and they are good but I found all of their sauces to be extremely on the less hot side of the spectrum. I'm a regular spice tolerance guy and even I would try the hottest one they offer because nothing in the middle range was that hot. There are times where I wished the girls running around were a little more attentive. I've seen my order sit in front of the cooks for five minutes before being brought to the front (and those metal shelves are not equipped with heaters either). Then the other girls need to do better to recognize I'm standing there to get my food, all you need to do is hand it to me. A minor grievance but before the app I phoned in my order for a long time and the ones on the phone always ask for a "good" name for the order. What does that even mean? How about a bad name? Solo lunch trip was great! Seated quickly & my server was very attentive. I sampled a slice, chicken bites with Tennessee Whiskey sauce & the garden salad with grilled chicken. We stopped here for lunch on a long road trip and needed a break from the long drive. We loved the vibe right away with the great looking art and murals and just overall aesthetic. We were seated right away and they got drinks for us immediately. The menu consists of pizzas, wings and salads, with a few appetizers. We opted for a build your own pizza, a red headed Greek salad, a chicken salad and 8 wings. The pizza choices are great as they have their own special pizzas as well as build your own. We chose build your own with just pepperoni due to the preferences of multiple children. I ordered the red headed green salad which was their Greek salad with chicken breast added one. The salad was very good and the chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The pizza was very flavorful and is like a New York style pizza. We spotted this pizza joint when going to pick up some duck eggs. We never tried it so we decided to circle back around. Since this was our first time, we decided to get the lunch special and garlic bread. I didn't have time to take pics of the food, but it was delicious. Our server was on point and checked on us before and after our order and gave us time to check out the menu. The chicken bites are great and the pizza good, I drive from Hapeville to eat here and PTC location . The servers, a couple of the young girls servers are rude, a dark headed girl threw my slices ( here you go) on the counter and walked off. She also the one who just stands around and gossips with all the other servers. The owner of Karvelas needs to walk in CFA and take note on how your server treat a customer. Karvelas is the best pizza in Newnan. The menu is pretty simple, but it works. Each appetizer - fried pickles, cheese bread, and the fries are fabulous. If you get the fries, ask for their homemade Ranch. You won't be disappointed. We typically get a basic pizza with pepperoni and olives, however the specialty pizzas are also pretty good. If you want to try one, but aren't sure you will like it, the best time to go is at lunch. They have a different specialty pizza available daily where you can buy a slice instead of an entire pizza. Not in the mood for pizza? Their wings and their chicken bites are amazing. The environment is perfect for your entire family to get together. Service is always quick and efficient. Apologies: My photos of this day were inexplicably deleted. But take my word for it: This place is the bomb. All I ate was 2 slices of Pizza, a Basket of Fries, and Water. All good. Very good Pizza, New York style. The Fries are big on both flavor and quantity. I couldn't even eat half of the Fries. I fully anticipate returning and sampling the Garlic Bread and Greek Salad. Had a nice dinner with my family at Karvelas Pizza. Our son is in a wheelchair and we were able to get in and out easily and had no issues pulling him up to the table. We had never tried either of the prior locations of Karvelas as we aren't generally near Hogansville and we just wound up eating elsewhere in Lagrange to to timing, etc. We had seen this 3rd location under construction in Newnan a few weeks ago and my wife saw something online about their now being open. We stopped by on Friday around 6 p.m. but it was mobbed. We just ate somewhere else that night. We happened to be relatively close to Newnan late in the afternoon on Saturday and were both hungry. We decided to try it again for an early dinner. There is a small public parking lot a couple of doors down the street; there are also a lot of street-parking options within a block or two. We arrived just after 4:30 p.m. and they were already full. We ended up sitting at the bar. They seemed to be doing fairly well for only having been open for one week. They had a large staff, but appeared to need them given the volume of business they were doing. It is fairly noisy inside due to the crowd, sound system, and exposed brick walls, but it wasn't unpleasant. We split a pizza and chose our own toppings. We finished just over half of it and took the rest home. I thought it was good - a nice balance between crust and ingredients. My wife thought her half was a bit salty, but wrote that off to the sausage she got. I'm not sure how often I'd drive over to Newnan just for pizza, but if you're in the area it's worth stopping in. read more

My husband and I LOVE this place!! The pepperoni pizza is to die for, the crust is the perfect mix between thin and thick crust. The boneless wings with mild sauce are honestly some of the best I've had in my life, and I have to get them every time! I find this location to be the best environment for hanging out. The service though is hit or miss. First time we went our food was fine. We went a second time and we were very disappointed. The thing that I don't like the most is that they use only paper products- paper plates, paper cups, paper on top of the table and plastic utensils. It seems just so wasteful considering they have multiple locations. The servers are not very friendly and every time we needed something numerous servers were behind the bar on their phones. We visited Karvelas Pizza for lunch as we were craving wings. It wasn't too busy so we were seated right away. We started with an order of garlic bread. It came out quickly and was hot and pretty good. It's served with a side of marinara sauce. The bread was soft and was topped with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. The bread had a nice garlic flavor that was not overpowering. It hit the spot as we were super hungry. We then each ordered a slice of the lunch pizza and shared an order of the boneless bites (wings) and fries in the medium sauce. Surprisingly, the boneless bites were very tasty. Dipping them in the ranch sauce brought a good balance of flavors, and I don't normally care for ranch dressing. There was plenty to share between two people. The pizza slices were ok, but I would have preferred the crust to be a bit more crispier. Overall, the food was pretty good. The one issue I had was once our server took our order, she never came by again to check on us. We had to flag her down to get ketchup and extra ranch sauce. Another server refilled our drinks when she gave us the check. They weren't that busy that would cause a server to not check on her table. She walked by us a couple of times but never said a word. However, this is a good place to grab some pizza and wings, especially for a lunch bite. read more
