Belanger Photography of The Berkshires - Bride & Groom portrait. Elopement at Devonfield Inn in Lee, MA

Belanger Photography of The Berkshires

When I started my search for a photographer for our upcoming wedding/elopement I spent about a week…read morevisiting websites and making emails and phone calls. Jeff Belanger was on top of things from the very beginning. I wasn't exactly sure what our plans were going to be but Jeff was very patient, responsive, and offered suggestions on lighting and other considerations that would make for better photos. Through the entire process Jeff was present, available, and always returned my emails and calls within 24 hours (usually within just a couple). That meant a lot to me and my wife. After a thorough, informative, and well-prepared presentation on options we opted to go with a package where both Jeff and Kristen could be there to take photographs for us. Our wedding was a very private elopement with only a few people in attendance so getting high quality photos of the event was a major priority for us-- and Jeff and Kristen delivered. All told, we had about 250+ great photos to down select from. They were able to come to Sheep Hill for the ceremony and were wiling to come with us to the Devonfield Inn for additional photograhs and we had some of our very best at both locations, so that was really great too. I don't have any complaints at all with Jeff and Kristen or their work. I think they're the best photographers I've ever hired and I very strongly recommend them for your event. Thanks again Jeff and Kristen, Mike and Marissa Kusek

Everly Studios - Jocelyn is so good, you can't even tell we are FREEZING in this photo!

If I could give Everly Studios 10 stars, I would. Every step of the way, our wedding day was done our way. From our first phone call, Jocelyn really listened to us and understood our vision for our wedding day. She helped us plan an itinerary for the day that was authentic and effortless. On our wedding day, Jocelyn was the only person present, and we wouldn't have it any other way. She was our witness, our hype-woman, and captured every moment of the day along the way. She did the vital job of documenting our special day, but she was also a joy to be with. She made us feel completely at ease with her and her camera. The photos speak for themselves. She fully encompassed our vision of moody, candid, authentic, dramatic shots. We are so proud to show off these pictures, and every person we show is blown away by them. Perhaps more important than the incredible aesthetic of the shots, though, is that she captured us. She captured our energies, our story, and chronicled the best day of our lives. Jocelyn, we cannot thank you enough for documenting our wedding day with your art. To anyone considering elopement photographers, you will be glad you chose Everly Studios!

My husband and I eloped at New York City Hall, just the two of us. We wanted to have a photoshoot…read moreto capture the experience and Everly Studios was one of the first to come up on Google. We met with Jocelyn Voo over Zoom before moving forward with working with her for our special day as our photographer and our witness. Jocelyn was absolutely outstanding for more reasons than one. Firstly, we felt that she really "GOT" us, from start to finish. She listened to our vision (dark, moody, candid, casual, gritty) and as wild as some of our ideas were, she totally leaned in and delivered exactly what we were looking for! Secondly, when you're eloping just the two of you, having a third person present is intimidating; what if it's awkward? What if the vibes are weird? But Jocelyn was an absolute joy to spend time with! I'd go so far as to say that her presence made the day even more special. She asked us about our love story, she joked around with us, and seemed genuinely interested in who we were as people. This also impacted the photos, as you can see how comfortable we are and how much fun we're having. Third, Jocelyn is an expert at her craft, although not pretentiously so. Her website offers so much guidance on how the elopement process works. Her emails with us gave us contacts for who to reach out to for certain steps (We took pictures in the lobby of the Beekman and had to have permission granted; something we certainly wouldn't have known!) Not only did we consider Jocelyn our photographer, but our guide in the process of eloping. She also is an expert in that her photo-taking does not appear obvious! I was worried about having professional pictures taken of me in public, but onlookers barely noticed as Jocelyn very naturally pulled her camera out and snapped pictures. If you are eloping in NYC, there is simply no contest; Jocelyn at Everly Studios is your photographer. You won't regret it, and I genuinely believe our wedding day would not have been as smooth and enjoyable if it weren't for Jocelyn.
