We had a few things come up that prevented us from having our shoot in February, including our cat becoming ill. Charlie Nunn made rescheduling painless. On the day of the shoot, our cat was less than cooperative as she is quite skittish. However, Raymond and Charlie were still able to work their magic and get some great shots of her and with us as well. While Charlie Nunn offers framing, we opted to get our prints framed at a shop we've used previously. The shop employees commented that other patrons were impressed with the print quality and clarity that Charlie Nunn produced. We took our dog to the pet store where Dapper Paws was doing a holiday photo shoot. Angela had a…read moretable full of props and costumes for different size animals and she told us to pick out whatever we wanted for our pup. We selected a hat and scarf and Angela led us to the holiday background. Angela had treats and was super patient with our pup. I felt bad that our girl wasn't being cooperative initially but Angela was easy going and just kept trying to get the shot. Finally, our dog stayed in place and Angela started snapping pics. She showed us what she had to be sure there was something there that we liked, and there was a perfect picture that we loved. We got our pic in email a couple days later and it was ADORABLE! Scheduling is always easy through the phone or email. They keep track of vaccines to make sure we submit them when required. I love that my two pups can stay together in a jr suite and there is a camera to view them from an app. They don't spend much time in their room during the day so makes me happy to know that they are getting lots of love and walks and play time in their big indoor play area. Place always looks clean and staff is always friendly and attentive. Wouldn't take my pups anywhere else.

In…read more2023/2024 I found the dog resort extremely helpful as a day time dog sitter for 4-6 hrs at a time. My dog didn't seem to mind it and always came back calmer so I decided to leave him here for 9 days while I went away for a trip. I don't recall the exact costs. Probably between 900-1100 dollars for daily walks and his home provided food. I asked the employees to put on his sweater at night. It wasn't a question it was a very important task they agreed to. He was a very small 8 pound yorkie and was always cold. When I came back my dog was not his normal self. That already made me highly suspicious about getting his walks. He was coughing a lot, not sleeping but also lethargic. I took him to the vet and he had pneumonia. Meaning, he was cold from day 1 and got worse for the remainder of his stay and I never got a call from here. From there he got sicker and sicker and I had to put him down. I was devastated and desperate to get him back to normal for months! I recommend people never leave their dogs in places like this. Sure you save money and they may or may not have company (depending on their personality) but you're better off vetting a dog sitter to check in or stay with your dog at home. In the end you may save yourself an onslaught of vet bills from trying to figure what is making your dog so ill when back from a trip. At least with an in home dog sitter they're more like to stay alive and healthy. If you have a small dog with specific needs get someone who can cater to your dog with love and care. I highly suggest NEVER leaving your dog for overnight or extended stays. I hate that it took me so long to post this but my grief was too strong to do it before. I wanted to sue, I wanted my money back, but I was so sad and I couldn't bring myself to do much other than focus on him and move on with my life. I'll never get another dog after this experience.
