I LOVE this place! This is my third time leaving my Fur-Babies in their capable and professional hands. So let me just tell you, my human children are 30 yrs old. My Fur-Babies are 3 and 1 yrs old. I am nauseously and obsessively picky about my humans and even more so about my 4 legged children ( the two legged ones are grown so I only have so much control...lol). This place, I cannot say enough good stuff about. It is temperature controlled, they are not out in the hot sun, they get plenty of play, (They are Pitts, and require a lot of play time so they are not pacing and having anxiety issues. When I look in on them in the morning, they are already out of their room, there is nap time in the afternoon and another play run after dinner. Pads are put down for my little one. (Las Vegas Baby) (OH yea they have cameras (I love that transparency) I only wish they had a camera to view the play area. The staff is excellent. I watched my babies' reactions and interactions (via remote camera from my cell phone) with their handlers and was so happy. Not everyone knows how to handle Pitts but really their just big babies who try to bully love out of you. The staff here knows what they are doing, and THEY CARE. My Fur-babies were not just crated they were cared for. Annie and Tony, Ron the OVERNIGHT staff and any one I missed were awesome!!!!!!! 5 Star Hotel Resort for Dogs... I kid you not... and YES you get what you pay for.. My instructions were followed to a "T". The place is immaculately clean. They are on top of it... If I see an accident and call they are there in less than 5 min. They have cameras on every room and monitor what's going on. Oh did I mention there are TV's yes, BIG screen monitors. I could go on and on, but let me just say my husband and I are going away on vacation in a couple of months, for a month and YES my four legged children will be staying at their Favorite vacation spot also!!!!. I've been bringing my dog here for YEARS and have had some concerns but now I absolutely need to find a better place. I have an old dog who requires medications, and almost every time I pick him up it's obvious that not all the meds were given because I have leftovers. I've had the same problem with his food. Hello?? I pay them to feed and care for my dog and he isn't even being given the food or meds I drop off with him. I spoke with a couple of very nice (but clearly exhausted) employees about this, and they excused it by saying they don't have enough time to make sure every dog is getting fed sometimes. This is also probably why my dog seems to be thirty EVERY time I pick him up. The staff seems nice and I'm sure they care but I don't think there are enough of them to properly care for (or even clean up after!) the number of dogs they accept. From what I was told they sometimes have as few as TWO employees for OVER ONE HUNDRED DOGS!! I was also promised that my dog would be getting two walks a day, I just learned this has not been happening and maybe I'm lucky if my dog gets out of his room once a day. PLUS I was promised overnight security and apparently there's no one in the building after 7pm until they open the next day. Completely unnacceptable, what if there was an issue with my dog? Would I not find out until the next day when it was too late?? I hope whoever is in charge at The Dog Resort sees this as the problem it is and fixes it, because I hate to think of people leaving their dog at a place where it'll be neglected. I will not be bringing my sweet boy here ever again after learning what I have, and you shouldn't either. read more

WOW, LOVE THIS PLACE. I found this gem through word of mouth. I believe his name was David? Anyways, as most of us we were going on vacation for the fourth of july. I asked my vet who they recommended. ( as I love my vet and fully trust them, they have saved my baby on a number of occasions) he recommended Dog Resort. He highly recommend them as the go to place in the SFV. I am a crazy dog owner and well I wouldn't leave my baby anywhere. Everything he described was absolutely true, I just wished he still worked there so my little fur baby could get 24/7 care by him. Vet/Hospice care! They offer many services but to me the compassion is what matters. The staff is amazing and their facility is clean and well maintained. I not once felt a single bit of nervousness leaving my baby here (AMEN!, I am a nervous wreck) They offer services like basic rooms, to rooms with webcams allowing you to view your fur baby 24/7 and also daycare and grooming services. The owner Tony as many have expressed, is great. Thank you for taking care of my little one and I absolutely recommend them to everyone! read more

Do yourself a favor, DO NOT bring your dogs here. My dog stayed 3 nights and I picked him up, it looks like he was abandoned for days! My dog was so sad and scared when he was picked up. not to mention how dirty he was. Dirty is an understatement tho. It looks like he was on the streets not attended too for days. It was so sad to see my dog like that. And its not like i cheaped out on the room, he got the presidential suite. I paid a lot of money for him to be in a safe, clean, and happy environment. This place was the exact opposite. I feel like I failed my dog by bringing him here. Oh did I mention when I first dropped off my dog I asked if I can see his room or even get a tour of the place where my dog will be staying. No wonder they never allowed me to go in the back to get a tour, it's probably filthy and unsanitary for our dogs. My dog actually started peeing blood when we brought him home, going to take him to the vet. don't bring your dog here if you don't want your pet to go through animal abuse. read more

I'm so glad I found the Dog Resort in North Hollywood, the best dog care facility in town. They take great care of my two furry friends, Gigi and Coco, and they treat them like family. They have a spacious and clean facility, with lots of areas for the dogs to play and relax. They have a professional and caring staff, who are always attentive and friendly to the dogs and their owners. They offer a variety of services, such as grooming, training, boarding and daycare. They also have webcams at the boarding rooms so you can check in on your dogs when you are away. Gigi and Coco always come home happy and tired from the Dog Resort in North Hollywood, and they can't wait to go back there. This was for grooming last Sunday, it was a nice facility but honestly the grooming was a joke. I have never had such a bad grooming apt. One dog was not even cut at all and I am questioning if they even had a bath since another dog still had dirt or poo on him. When I asked if this had a sample chart for dog hair lengths a response was "This isint Petco". Maybe the boarding is good but whoever they had grooming last Sunday was so unprofessional and I hope management takes note of this. They also told me they were ready when they were not and I was in a rush so it was kind of a joke. They need to get a new groomer to make this a reputable place. Thank God i had a groupon for this but i really feel like my dogs were not groomed, one looked exactly the same but had a face cut, yet i paid for a full cut. read more

Dog Resort is awesome! I initially took both of my dogs here for a grooming, not realizing they offer day/night around the clock pet care! This was great to find out because my job requires me to travel frequently and it's such a hassle to fly with two dogs (for me and for them lol). They took such good care of them the first time I decided to use them consistently and now I bring my dogs there for their dog-cation at least three times a month. Whenever come back to pick them up they usually aren't ready to go and I have to let them stay and play for a few extra minutes. Dog Resort has been such a lifesaver for us. We have a 2 year old Weimeraner, who is very true to his characteristics = hyper and a velcro dog. For the first year and half, we had such difficulty finding dog sitters and dog hotels that he liked and that we trusted, after all, he is my baby. After being disappointed with other boarding facilities, we finally found Dog Resort. We were pleased to see that our furry family member liked the facility and staff. I would rate this place 100+ stars if I could! My sister brings her dog for daily doggy daycare while she is at work, and her pup couldn't be happier! I was going out of town for the weekend and I didn't want to leave my cat alone. My sister told me Dog Resort is cat friendly which I was surprised and pleased to find out! They took such good care of my cat and now every time I have to travel I bring him there. It makes me feel worry-free and at ease knowing he is in such good care. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. I have used many daycares and kennels in the past but this place is the best by far. its always so hard to leave your baby, but I know when I leave my dog here he's in good hands and happy. the staff is amazing and Archie's favorite person there is Leah. she's amazing and really loves all the animals there. very friendly and caring. all the staff is. when I take archie for grooming he always comes home with the best haircut and so soft and clean. Best doggy daycare in North Hollywood! at first I honestly didn't think I would feel safe leaving my dog with anyone even for just a few hours but everyone at Dog Resort made us feel super comfortable and I knew I was making the right choice! The staff is warm and friendly and I knew my baby would be in good hands. The place is spectacular! HUGE, very clean, and all the dogs are so happy and playful! I bring my two dogs here every time we leave for vacation or anywhere else we go for more than one day. This place is very clean and big. The staff is nice and they are amazing with dogs. They remember my dogs and are always helpful with anything you need. They do training and pampering as well while your dog(s) stay there. Their prices are great as well. The rooms the dogs stay in have a camera that you as an owner can log into to check on your dog whenever you need want to. All in all this place is amazing and I recommend to anyone who needs a dog sitter for when they are out. read more
