I have it at three stars because it's more of an annoyance and there should be a different way of doing it, and thats checking to ensure everyone has paid on the light rail. on average i get checked 3-4 times just in the morning on the B line and sometimes by the same person and sometimes they see me scan my phone at the little kiosk. I understand the need to check but come on. There should be a way better implementation. also it creates a safety hazard when the train starts to move. Idk about every one else but thats my two cents. and one more thing for the buses, hold onto a chair because they brake hard, at least on the ones I take.

She got off her shift at 9 PM and waited for her scheduled pickup until midnight. Three hours. Alone. At night. Her phone had died, and apparently that was enough justification for this company to simply abandon her. No attempt to follow through, no contingency, nothing. A transport service that cancels a ride because they couldn't reach the client instead of just showing up to the scheduled location at the scheduled time is not a transport service. It's a liability. She was stranded and unreachable until a manager happened to notice her still there and let her charge her phone so she could get an Uber home. A stranger's kindness did this company's job for them. A woman alone outside late at night is vulnerable. That is not a dramatic statement. That is reality. The fact that this company's response to a minor obstacle was to leave a client stranded for three hours rather than simply show up speaks to a fundamental disregard for customer safety. Consider this a formal warning: if anything like this happens again, we will be pursuing every legal avenue available to us. A transport service that abandons clients in unsafe conditions has real liability exposure, and we are prepared to act on that. Do not use this service if you value your safety or the safety of anyone you care about.

The construction has been going on for way too long and they (ADOT) are constantly messing with the lanes and messing with the flow of traffic. Drivers do NOT pay attention through this area and there have been multiple accidents in this area. Maybe when the construction is over it will get slightly better? Not a fan!

No questions asked, you can hop on the trolley at one of the many stops around the downtown Scottsdale area and ride to your next stop. The route isn't very long. You can actually walk the entire downtown Scottsdale area. But you won't want to do that when it's raining. When we took this on a Tuesday afternoon, there was only one other person on the trolley, so not sure when it gets busy or packed. But we were glad to ride this trolley through town to avoid the rain. It's very cool that the city provides this service for the public.

Buses suddenly cutting out from a stop into the right lane while you are in it forcing you to swerve into the middle lane to avoid hitting them, drifting into neighboring lanes and other traffic while making right turns, breaking right-of-way laws at intersections and refusing to stop even when they're inches from another car, etc. And of course I've lost count of how many times a bus has GUNNED IT while I'm in the middle of a crosswalk as a pedestrian, like they're threatening to run me down if I don't get out of their way. I don't know that I've ever seen an Orbit driving normally. Tempe is already a difficult city to drive in, I'm not sure how I would feel riding in a vehicle that stomps on traffic laws as much as these ones do.

The Blue Line WAS great because I could pick it up just outside my home near Squaw Peak and ride it through the Camelback corridor, down Central to downtown. Without a transfer. Instead of proceeding down Central to downtown, the line's new southern terminus is Central and Camelback, a fortuitous endpoint for Sweet Tomatoes & Applebees' afficionados but not so great for citizenry with taste. Or places to go. Like, uh, me. Now I trudge off the bus, sneer at Applebee's and get my cancerous tan waiting for ostensibly convenient light rail to venture downtown. It's worse coming back, timing the transfer, cuz the bus back to my house only runs every half hour. This "new improved" Blue Line (they now call it the 39, presumably for the extra minutes they've tacked onto my trip) is makin' me blue. On second thought, maybe I'll just hop in the car :- (
