They house "East County Vinyl" inside which has such an extensive collection of both new and used vinyls that are all priced SO well - we walked out with 5 used vinyls under $30, SCORE (two of them were priced at just $2)! We've already tried playing all 5 of them and they were in pristine condition. Walked into the back and they have a really nice assortment of furniture, art, books, a small rack of clothing, vintage decor and collection pieces alike, all of which were priced very well!! Even though the clothing rack was small, I found this really cool Padres shirt :) The gentleman working today was also very kind and helpful, he even offered to hold the vinyls we found up at the register so we could continue perusing around the store. The consignment and vintage market, especially in San Diego, marks up prices but the Consignment Shack makes it affordable for all! Can't wait to come back!!!

It felt like the old school days browsing through old records and finding great deals... unlike other stores where they overcharge. The owner was sweet and very welcoming which was appreciated. I was able to find a few vinyls to add to my slow growing collection. The other side was more of the consignment area, offering a variety of items, from comic books, to vintage Barbie's, to furniture and more. When I make it back to this area, I will definitely stop by again.

Just hope others do not experience what I have had to experience. Guardian and Tri-County Furniture Service (TCFS) has been, by far, the worst experience I've had with a furniture repair company and this is who Bobs swears is a reputable insurance company with their good proof insurance they offer. From the beginning, the insurance company attempted to have me act as the technician by requiring a video appointment and asking me to move and lift the furniture myself. When I insisted on having an actual technician come out, it took 2-4 weeks just to schedule a visit. After finally being seen, I was told the item was repairable, only to later be informed that the necessary part was no longer available. They offered some low ball amount to take back to bobs to spend more money and get new furniture (for the record this is my families 4th time going through this process) I then had to go through multiple steps on my own just to secure the part, and even after that, I had to call myself to schedule another appointment for installation. The next available appointment was another four weeks out. To make matters worse, the appointment was canceled the day before and pushed back an additional two weeks. When I requested to speak with a supervisor, I was told they were all unavailable. Customer service throughout this process has been extremely disappointing. One representative in particular, Laura, was especially unhelpful and lacked basic professionalism. Overall, this company demonstrates a complete lack of organization, accountability, and customer care. I strongly recommend going with a more reputable company to avoid the frustration and wasted time I experienced

So many great things to say about my experience working with Don at Purewood Furniture. I was…read morelooking for a kitchen table and chairs and had seen some Amish furniture that was out of my budget. Stopped in to Purewood Furniture and selected a solid wood table and chairs, chose custom stain and fabric, and was able to get everything for 1/2 the price of what I had seen at other stores. The finished product was great quality and the stain was perfect. Don and his staff delivered and set everything in place. After a couple weeks we had a little problem opening the table to add the leaf. We called Don because we wanted to make sure nothing was broken, so rather than letting us possibly damage the table, Don said he would come by and check it out that afternoon. Turned out to be nothing but new stain and hinges sticking. He loosened it up and made sure we were happy before he left. I mentioned during that conversation that I was thinking of adding a couple more chairs and that I would come to the store in a few weeks to place the order. Well, several weeks later I stopped in to place the order for the chairs and Don said he knew I was going to get them, so he had already ordered them and had them there ready to stain. It's great doing business with a place who takes such great care of their customers!!
