This shop is full of creative and colorful Mexican accessories! You will love it for gifts or things for your self. This shop is next to other cute little shops. Parking is a little difficult, but well worth it,

Beautiful Store, I was Very Excited when I found this store. It came up in my newsfeed in insta and I ordered some things for El Dia de Los Muertos and I chose to pick up because it wasn't to far from me and i had a couple questions and I was hoping they can help. When I Walked in I was impressed by all the inventory they had a lot of options! I Did think a lot of the little things were over priced. A lot of the Bigger things were a reasonable price. When I walked in to This Beautiful store I was already in a good mood I was excited and happy , I was expecting to be welcomed and feel that Mexican culture the store is giving. But I Didn't. I felt like rushed. I had a questions about my ordered and they didn't say anything particular to me but the energy that was giving to me was off. Like they really didn't want to help me, but I kinda got an answer? Anyways it's Ohkay I figured it out myself... Overall Beautiful Store love the esthetic. But I was expecting that Mexican Culture all around. As in Being Respectful, Greeting and serving and more is something I was thought and I always felt going into a Mexican Restaurant, store, etc. At first I thought it was just me but going through everyone's else comments I saw I'm not the first one to notice this and/or experience this. But I'm usually a very social person and I love to make conversation with people and especially if I need some kind of help. Hopefully next time I go I have a different experience.

What a fabulous store my daughter brought me to. So many items I wanted, I would've been broke. I found a specialty gift for a co-worker, sister amd myself. So many unique gift items from funny coffee mugs, candles, cards, cool books, stationary, pens, clothing, coffees, sweets, stickers etc. I truly enjoyed th children's corner for my granddaughter, loved the unique books they carry. Customer service was extremely kind and helpful and the value prices weren't bad for the quality of goods they carry. I will definitely be back for more Mexican wares and gifts.

There are so many eclectic little stores in North Park, San Diego, and this one was my best friend's favorite. The colors are vibrant and lively. We both loved the Mexican artifacts, snacks and trinkets. The girls working the cash were friendly even though we ended up not buying anything.

Had to get a shot with Pedro!

Cute store with lots of Mexican themed products. You'll find everything from Southwestern style jackets, shirts to pots and stickers. It's in a crowded area so parking can be tricky. But it always nice in San Diego so walking around is a treat.

Great cultural experience and finds, what I looking for was more pictures/paintings and maybe some sculptures. Overall great store.

Walking by and hearing the joy inside this store and then coming in was such a treat that I'm tempted to sink my teeth into again! This place is on the corner behind target and across the street from Pints and Pretzels. The first thing that gets you is the sound of lively chatter followed by a colorful room followed by wonderful people and smiles. The store is full of items that are Mexican themed. Therefore the items, the people, and the atmosphere are all warm and fun. Aside from food, this place has everything from baby clothes, to dog toys, to small little recuerdos you can gift, to cookbooks, to car fresheners and more. Also, when we came here around 11am on a Saturday, they were serving apple mimosas and mini chocolate chip cookies. Really was a dope experience. The value on most things were in line with what you would spend at other places like Target. But at least you're supporting small businesses.

This was such a cute store. They had so many unique items. It was such a joy to shop at. Unlike another I had went into this place was welcoming, the workers were friendly, helpful and happy to assist. I definitely recommend if you're in the area to check them out. I will absolutely be back.

The store itself is really nice and has a great selection of unique items. Unfortunately, the experience I had with the staff completely changed how I felt about it. I'm a Hispanic male, and while I don't necessarily look like your typical San Diego local, I expected to feel welcome--especially in a store that celebrates Hispanic culture. Instead, a tall blonde employee started following me around and made it very clear she was watching me every time I picked something up. It made me feel uncomfortable and judged, like I didn't belong there. I still bought an item I liked, but honestly, I couldn't enjoy the experience because of how uneasy I felt. It's disappointing because I really wanted to support this place, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who doesn't fit what they see as a "high-end" customer.

My cousins and I parked in the residential area and were walking around the corner to Verbatim when the big mural on the side of the building caught our attention. This place is amazing! They had so much from fabric to housewares and the prices were relatively affordable. Not crazy huge tourist trap mark-ups. They sell mexican folk art/cultural fabric! I snagged a Grandeza Azteca themed yard cut of fabric for $13.00 in their precut fabric basket. I also got some wedding cookies and a Darth Vato patch. I rang up and was just blown away at the extra care they gave when bagging up my items. they put it in a gift bag, with tissue paper and tied it closed with like colored husk type string... I dont know what it's called. anyhow, it looked like a present when she handed it over to me. Definitely a place to stop if you are in the area. :)

This is one of my favorite stores to go to. I have boughten earrings, stickers, and gifts for people. This place is great and there is always something for someone. The people are kind and helpful. They tend to have a sale section too.

Oh my gosh! I have never been to this store in person but I ordered online for a family member and everything was so cute. Everything was packaged so nicely and neat. My cousin will be so happy. Thank you so much! I can't wait to visit this store if I am in San Diego! Everything is great quality and so beautiful. I can't thank you enough! So happy to support this wonderful Latina owned small business!

It's a nice store with a cool aesthetic. Items are a bit overpriced and the people working there are icy. Not very welcoming or warm.

    Is this business dog friendly?

Haven't seen any signs prohibiting dogs, but the store isn't very spacious. In other words, you might be allowed, but it doesn't seem to be a good idea.

Does anyone know if this store has its own parking lot or is it street parking?

Yes. There is a parking lot behind the store where you can park for free

She was going on and on about H+H she even had come over to her desk so she could show me their website. Yes they had a lot of very cute dog stuff like leashes, collars, and harnesses that you most likely couldn't get anywhere else. I was in the area and said I have to stop by and show some love. The shop is small, very cute, and very well organized. There is a home section and the dog section is in the back. I was very impressed with this shop because the items that they have is pretty much one of a kind. Much of my focus was on the dog section and the quality of the items were amazing. Next time I'll pay more attention to the home section. Every time I'm in the area I'll stop by to see what's new. Great job Home + Hound!!!

I then went back to do a little holiday shopping, and have been back many times since. I am also happy that the shop continues to host a spirt stop on the stroll. Kiko + Sven is a tiny shop with a lot of cute items. Some appear handmade and other are just cute or unique. They probably have more jewelry than anything. It is mostly dainty gold and silver, some with long beads and some made from clay. They have a back wall that is full of greeting cards, and a section of toddler and baby items. There are usually quite a few candles and soaps, and a small amount of cocktail/cooking supplies. All of it calls out to me... and makes me want to spend money. They also have a rack of clothing in the shop, and usually a sale rack outside. I have bought a couple of tops and a cute shawl there in the past, but since the selection is so small, I often don't find any clothing that either is my size or style. I think it is a great shop to browse and find something unecspected. As it is very small, the times I went looking for something more specific for gifts, it has been a bit hit or miss. Their stock varies over time and you may or may not luck out. All in all, if you are shopping or eating on Adams, go check it out. It's really fun to browse and you may find something you like. Also, they will make you an account so you can put your phone number in for discounts without any coupons or solicitaitons.
