Gotta give 5 stars and high recommendations for Shy's Pizza! Always great welcoming service when I order pizza from here. Anytime I'm visiting my family in the valley..I gotta get this pizza. Great hometown unique tasting pizza. No dine in area or sit down restaurant but you can still order this great pizza with carryout to enjoy at home. Restaurant is not open late and closes earlier than most pizza joints around 7pm so keep that in mind. read more

Pretty good! I am visiting Grandview for an extended period, and have been trying both to support small, local businesses, and to try different places. I went to Shy's based on the pictures of the chicken, and the reviews of the chicken, the pizza, and the house-made ranch. The girl who took my phone order (Gracie?), who I assume was the same girl who gave me my food and took my payment, was very sweet. I wasn't thrilled that I could not order the chicken in all dark meat. I totally understood the explanation (after they bread them, they separate them all out into 4 piece servings, one of each piece), but I think enough people prefer only dark or only white that they could be more flexible. I hate white meat chicken. The first thing I tried was a JoJo. I was disappointed in the flavor - it tasted heavy, like the oil was past its prime, and made me nervous for the chicken - but the texture was absolute perfection! The middle was so soft, they seemed like mashed potato patties that had been seasoned and fried. Soooo good. The chicken was next, and was as good as I'd hoped. Fried chicken has been one of my lifetime favorite foods, but I'm extremely picky. Add to that, I have a couple of places that are my very favorite, to the point where it would be next to impossible for me to ever find a place that even came close. Shy's came close. Very good chicken. Note: I didn't get the hot wings this time, only the regular, full-sized chicken pieces. Lastly, I tried a piece of pepperoni pizza. It was very good, but nowhere near as good as I've had. If I were driving for it, and not getting delivery, I would choose it over any of the chains in the area... but I probably wouldn't drive for it unless I were driving for the chicken. (Keep in mind that I'm in Grandview, so the drive is about 30+ minutes both ways.) Also, I appreciate that they house-make their ranch, but I wasn't a fan. It was creamy, which is fine, but leaned sweet. I tried a bite of everything dipped in it, and just didn't care for it. All in all, though, Shy's a good, solid option. I would go back. read more

A Prosser classic!! I love Shy's. Fresh pizza, thin crust fashion w/ plenty of yummmy & creative toppings. Dont get me started on the WINGS !!.. i just have to say i am not getting paid or anything like that to say all this.. but those wings are the best I have ever tried & im a boneless wing type of person .. so yea. Went to shys for the first time after our sons football game in Prosser. Very family friendly atmosphere. Kids loves the little video game section. Bring your quarters mom and dads. The food itself vas very decent for the price but nothing spectacular. For a after game stop in a small town it was ok. The place itself was clean with courteous and friendly staff. read more

: I would like to start off saying I fully support small town businesses, however we had such a miserable, possibly illegal and certainly heartbreaking experience at Shys Pizza we need to share. If you are or know anyone who is disabled and/or loves animals this is for you. My Maggie is my faithful service dog as I suffer seizures and Maggie warns me In addition she knew before me when a pain episode was coming and signaled me. I had NEVER been refused service but might answer questions about being in compliance. Maggie has a government issued service dog ID and she wears a vest and patch for easy identification. I can no longer drive, sit long or walk well and never go anywhere without my husband and Maggie to keep watch, that being said we tried our best to not disturb folks paying for meals by taking Maggie inside restaurants. Maggie however had EVERY right to be at Shys Pizza, and we should never have been treated so rudely, with such hostility while both ignored and yelled at and finally ordered to leave. After failing to get employees to listen over the rants directed at us we fled shaking and beyond horrified and what makes this beyond bad is this was to be Maggie's last meal out. Maggie was terminal with a kidney/liver disease that was in no way contagious to animals or humans she was however suffering and as she loved pizza we took her here after a vet appointment and just days later Maggie left this earth and us. We called from home and my two conversations with Shys Pizza were much worse than the treatment in the restaurant. We should have called the police right then but with Maggie we choose not to be in the hostile environment even a minute longer. So if you are a animal lover, are disabled or know someone who is please join us and eat pizza anywhere but Shys Pizza Connection in Prosser and if you get a chance give them a call and let them know this should never have happened and shame on them! read more

I have had shys pizza three times. And let me tell you something, this is one of the best pizza I have had. The pizza has some of the best cheese I've had, it has the right amount of sauce and toppings. Prices are very reasonable and customer service is not bad. I have only done takeout the three times I have been there. So I can't tell you about dining in the restaurant. Give this Place a chance you won't regret it. read more

She's is a great place to get some pizza and fried chicken. It's local and they make the pizzas as you order them, so if you are in a hurry, call in your order. The crust is thin and crispy, it used to be bubbly, but the texture has changed recently. Don't bother with the buffet night, the pizzas come out so slowly it's not worth the wait, but the chicken is usually hot, crispy and delicious! read more

Yes it's still Covid, most places are open, but Shy's s says they can't get employees to work so they can't open the inside. We ordered through the door and sat at their picnic table and ate the food as it came out. The chicken was very hot to the touch....in most places, then absolutely cold in other places. That didn't seem right for chicken so I let them know, and had her feel it for herself, she said they always check the temp and make sure it's 165, so I didn't understand how it could be cold in places (not just one piece either) so she offered to make me more, I said ok and waited....quite a while, but then I found out why, she cooked them until 201.7 degrees! Left out one of the pieces I ordered, and cooked them to the point they were dried out and couldn't chew them. I don't understand why if someone complains that their chicken is cold, that they would go to the extreme, like I'm being punished somehow for them serving me cold chicken! Just get it to the correct temperature, test in a few places to be sure, and serve your paying customer good food! We will definitely not return until they are open and actually serving people good food again. It's very sad because I think they use to be pretty good. read more

On October 11th, 2018 it was my youngest sons bday who turned 5yrs old, We decided to have his bday party at Shys Pizza because he loves shys pizza!!!! I called at 11:15am that day to reserve a table for a party of 10 people at 5 o clock pm that day, i told her that i will be there around 4:30pm to decorate, It was a girl employee who took the call so i gave her a idea of what amount of food will be ordered, 3 large pepperoni pizzas and 1 order of 16 pieces of chick n joes and i explained to her i might order more food depending on how many people show up, so she ask me "do u want us to cook the food at 5 o clock"? I said "no, when i get there and people start to show up, i will let u guys know when to start making the food", she says oh ok, sounds good, so she starts to explain the rules of having a party etc.... (which i know cause my family always have partys and family gatherings there for many years), so its 4:35pm and me and my family are on my way to prosser to shys to decorate and i receive a call from a number i dont recognize so i do not answer, we get to Shys Pizza at 4:45 and get our table (which had no sign of "reserved" but its ok since the place was empty) so the owners daughter, and a guy employee and a girl employee named "Michael", so as im decorating the guy employee comes up to me and says are you "janie" i said yes, he says "oh i tried calling you from my cell phone to let u know your food is ready and cooked" i thought to myself well i asked my food not to be cooked until the time was right is what i explained to girl who took my call in the morning) so i tell him "oh really, i didnt want my order cooked until more people got here and i do not answer calls from numbers i do not know", he tells me "oh ok well your order is ready and its sitting on top of our stove staying warm so when yr party is ready just let us know, i say oh ok (i look at the stove and yes my food is cooked and just sitting on top of there stove "staying warm" ugh!!!! I thought well hopefully my family gets here soon while the food is still warm, so i than tell Michael who was our waiter that its going to be a while till all my family gets here so i wont want the food for some while, she says oh its ok your food is being kept warm, so while im waiting for the rest of our family to get there i start ordering appetizers, finally all my family get there and i ask for my order to come out my boyfriend the father of the birthday boy goes to the counter and immediately pays for the order which came out to around $96, so they bring out my order and the 16 prices of chicken is literally COLD, pizzas are somewhat warm, now im very upset!!! My family is hungry and we had people who just got off work and hadnt ate, kids who are hungry, the birthday boy who loves there pizza is hungry too, my uncle who is very well known in prosser, wa and by the staff and owners is also there at the party and is hungry, so my family eats the chicken and pizzas cause yes we are hungry, i explained to Michael that the food is COLD and what are they able to do to make it right, she said im so sorry, i will talk to the daughters owner right now and see what she says, so michael comes back and says, the owners daughter said all she xan do is take the all chicken back and reheat it (meaning fry it again), i said i think NOT its just going to make it more crisper, is there anyway i can just get a fresh batch of chicken to replace the COLD chicken i was given, Michael says, i completely understand how u feel and i would be very upset to, i know you and your family are frequent customers here so im going to call the owners myself and see what the can do for you, i said yes please that sounds good and ill just wait for the owners to see what they say, 5 minutes go by and Michael comes back and says" ok i spoke to the owners and they said theres really not much we can do but charge you the regular price but we can give you a coupon for 25% off your next visit", i explained to her, that im very very upset with the owners, the service, the food. Me, my family, my cousins, my well known uncle joe who lives in prosser, aunts ect..... are frequent customers there for years and this is how we got serviced today, Im very very upset, I WILL NEVER again go to shys pizza ever, all my years of going there has ended, i will let everyone know of what a awful experience i had there on my sons 5th birthday, my son is small does not understand what was going on but as a mother, i had to act like everything is ok but in reality the service has HORRIBLE, and i was sad and upset, i hope no one has to experience this on someones special day, SHYS PIZZA should be embarrassed by such awful service by the staff and the owners decision on how to handle the situation! read more

Do not order from this place! We have eaten there twice and ordered delivery from them twice. Our first visit to the restaurant was fast and hot, no complaints. It was downfall from there. On our 2nd visit, The service was horrible and the place was filthy. Delivery takes forever, we called to order delivery tonight and were told the food would arrive in 1 hour. After 90 minutes of waiting, my husband called and asked to speak to the manager. When the manager came on the line he said they have all new staff and that the person who took our phone order should've told us it'd be 90 minutes. Which at that point it had been. Took the kids there for some pizza. While the service was slow, we expected it as they started to get busy. The kids played on the games. 2 of my children informed me that there were a couple games that weren't working. As I went to the game room I noticed there was no out of order sign. I told them to ask for their money back and not to use those games anymore. My 2 kids stood at the counter for almost 10 minutes while being ignored!!! So my family has.been going to shys pizza after trick or treating for a few years now and today was the WORST experience we have ever had!!! first we ordered our pizza and it took them about 40 minutes to get it to.us even though everyone that was in the building already had their food, second it was decorated for Halloween and we were told the kids could NOT take pictures with their inflatable Frankenstein and third they were quick to pass judgment on my younger brother. So my nephew was a swat officer for Halloween and everyone at the table,mind you we are a big family and there was about 15 of us, were playing with the toy gun as soon as my brother got a hold of it they were quick to pass judgment on him and asked if he had a real gun, because apparently he looked like a "thug". At that point I was livid and said to myself it's time to go!! Just got an order togo there spent little over 50 dollars, i get back to my place less than a mile away and all my ranch was all over my food and bag and ruined my food. I called back expect to get some help instead i talked to someone that says theres no manager available. 2 minutes later he then says hes the manager. Then halfway through a girl picked up the phone and said she was the manager and she couldnt do nothing til she called the owners. 5 minutes later get a call back and they tell me i cant get my money back but they will remake my food that was ruin. I didn't actually eat the pizza, but was totally disgusted by the state of the building. The floor was filthy and the experts claim that if the bathroom is dirty, the kitchen is dirtier. If that's true...whew. My "chef" salad was not edible. The olives tasted old and the meat tasted like fish--I didn't order any fish on my salad. Definitely won't be going back. read more
