Kids bunless burger and shoestring fries

Tried this place out for the first time last night and let me tell you ..... it did not disappoint! I am already planning to go back! The service was great. Our server was kind and friendly and so willing to answer all of our questions and give recommendations! We sat outside on the super cute patio that had plenty of seating, sunshade, umbrellas, lights and everything they need to keep their customers comfortable. They had a great drink menu and a full bar. The drinks were delicious. Their food menu is a little on the limited side but there is definitely enough options to please everyone. They had gluten free bun and pasta options and all their salad dressings are GF which is great! We got the fried green beans and crispy Brussels sprouts and they were both phenomenal! Literally the best I have had! The marinated chicken thighs were cooked to perfection. They were served with this creamy butter sauce and OMG it was heavenly! We didn't have room for dessert but next time I'm for sure getting their affogato and churro fries! The table next to us had some and they looked delicious! I highly recommended trying this place out! I can't wait to go back!

Absolutely love the fun atmosphere and amazing drink options. Wide array of spirits, including this gem of a gin cocktail.

Every time we come here food is good! On this occasion we came for the tomahawk special! This experience tonight was out of this world amazing! The staff was 1st class. The food was exquisite! My lemon drop was so smooth and I loved the foam on top, probably the best lemon drop I've ever had. The steak and mushroom soup was delicious and full of flavor. The appetizers were top notch. Let me tell you about the best part the tomahawk steak was cooked to perfection, I love the sides with it, the herb butter was the topping on the cake. I even liked how the chef came out and asked if everything was cooked to our liking! First class all the way! The weather was perfect as we enjoyed our dinner on the patio! That was the best steak I've had in years! Thank you for this magical evening!!! You guys knocked it out of the park!!!

Filet w/baked potato. Ordered Medium, came out more charred than we would have liked.

In response to the business owner: It was me that came back the next day. I think you are talking about my MIL who actually lives locally and likely realized it wasn't very neighborly to write a negative review for a local business. She, however did not join us the following day for what was suppose to be brunch. We already had reservations for "Brunch" the following day and rather than changing the plan on my parents who were driving over from the Tri-Cities area l, we decided to give it another shot. My updated review would be, that the food was marginally better. We had the Shrimp Pasta, another Burger, Margarita Pizza and Mac and Cheese and the ginormous chicken Sandi. Everything was eatable and nothing had to be sent back. My parents enjoyed the Pasta, and my son loved his Chicken Sandwich (again). The rest was meh. We were disappointed in that when called and specifically asked about brunch, I was told yes, you serve brunch. So I made my reservation for Saturday (on the same call). There was no mention that you don't serve brunch on Saturday (apparently it's just a Sunday menu). Yes, I realize that two people from the same party wrote a review. As you can see, from my profile, I am an avid yelper, and I check in and write reviews all over the country. I try very hard to be honest and fair in my reviews. I was very specific with my opinion and had pictures to give my review validity.

Mexican street corn ribs

This place has been on our radar for some time, but only recently were we down in the Prosser area and had a chance to try it out. This place has a great vibe, really nice indoor and outdoor seating areas, and served up some great food! As with many new American type spots, the Appetizers were where they were playing with flavors and dishes the most. Amongst the two family group, we split some fried green beans, The Mexican street corn ribs (A delicious play on Mexican street corn), beer and cheese fries topped with blue cheese, bacon and other goodies, and finally some blistered Serano peppers. All of the appetizers were exceptional and made perfectly for sharing! They had plenty of different options for main courses including some really good pizza, a ton of different burgers and some more traditional dishes. My better half had a lovely salad, our seafood loving kiddo got and ensemble of fish, clams and shrimp in a white wine broth, and one of our compatriots had some really nice ravioli. The seafood was really the only thing that wasn't perfect, and end of the day it was still pretty good. The big kahuna burger took a couple of us to finish, it was a really nice burger with pineapple and grilled spam up top - a nice little nod to the favorite meat of Hawaii! The beer and wine selection was solid and aside from just being a little bit short staffed, the service was excellent. The owner/chef made his way around throughout the evening and was very nice. This is the sort of place that has a chance to really set itself apart as a spot that people will travel to. The menu was eclectic enough to keep foodies excited and familiar enough that even picky eaters will be able to find some things that they like. We highly recommend checking this place out... I suspect you will be glad that you did!

Chicken fried steak

Looking for a place for breakfast and tried here and enjoyed it. Even tho it's more of a pub so they don't have a big breakfast menu, what they had was solid. I got the chicken fried steak. It was nice and fried crispy. Not tough or stringy. Sausage gravy also solid and tasty. Asked for eggs over hard and that's how I got them. Service was good, friendly, and fast. Enjoyed the patio on a mild autumn day. Great prices on bloody marys $8 and mimosas with a bottomless option for each for $25. Overall it's a winner. If in prosser again I'd come back.

Grilled octopus with fingerling potatoes and grilled veg. Very tasty and tender.

Great little Proser restaurant. We usually go for the fish and chips and French dip, both great choices. We got adventurous today and ordered the grilled octopus. Surprisingly delicious. Not tough at all, a little too salty for my taste but hubs liked it. The baked chicken was cooked nicely, would have liked a little more gravy ( wouldn't we all ). Server Jack was awesome as usual. (Dinged it a star for the saltiness and they still top salads with Kraft Parmesan cheese.)

I could easily see myself spending a few hours here and lounging, maybe writing or grading papers, and just enjoying the ambiance. It does have that local-pub type feel to it. Easy to find parking right out on the street. I selected the seasonal cocktails Demeter to drink. Gin is my spirit of choice, and the addition of black currants and blackberries was intriguing. The Cassis Noir De Bourgogne was the dominant flavor, rich black currant flavor from the liqueur. I do also appreciate that the drink was a very nice balance between mild tartness and mild sweetness, I could easily drink four or five in a sitting and still feel good about it. I do enjoy the terpene notes from gin and was unfortunately not able to taste them since the black currants were some dominant. The blackberries and the rosemary both struck me as there for the visual appeal more-so than the taste. If the berries were muddled more, then they too could add depth to the flavor. As they were in the mostly intact state I drank around them, a straw would not have been appropriate for the drink. I think one could cut the ice in half, it would still stay cold, and the ease of drinking would go up. I could probably also get more blackberries into my mouth for an additional sensory experience. Lastly, I did wish for more bubbles, more effervescence. Keep a neutral flavor (like carbonated soda) and let the Cassis shine.

This was actually our first time *ever* going to a bar, and our visit here completely ruined the experience for us. After about 10-15 minutes, a staff member asked to check our ID's. My partner attempted to use a digital version of his ID, and the staff member (in an extremely rude tone) said that he had to leave if he couldn't provide proper ID. Totally get that. He tells her that he'll go to his car to get his physical ID, and immediately gets up after their conversation ends. Another 15 minutes rolls around, and the same staff member has came to our table plenty of times. My partner has his ID out to show her. Never comes around until someone from our party gets up to complain about the slow service, and mentions that my partner and I are also still waiting. The staff member tells the person from our party that my partner supposedly left because he couldn't provide an ID. They mention that he only left to retreive his ID from the car, which was communicated to the staff member earlier. A few minutes later, this staff member comes storming up to my partner and begins YELLING and POINTING HER FINGER in his face. She asks him what his deal is, exclaiming that he didn't have his ID, etc. My partner tries to explain that he got it from his car, but she wouldn't even let us get a word in. After a few minutes of her just completely berating us in front of our ENTIRE party and bar, he asks if everything is okay now that he has his physical ID. The staff member begins quizzing him, not believing that it's actually his, and asks him to verify his name and birthdate. Obviously he passed, and she gives him back the ID. Right after, she turns to me and yells, "What do you want?!" I was completely taken aback, not realizing that she was trying to take my drink order. We place our order and attempt to enjoy the rest of the night, but the staff member wouldn't stop bothering us about Washington State laws. I swear she came over 5 times, just completely berating us and making us feel insanely uncomfortable. If you read this review and think, well duh. You need an ID to get into a bar. Let me once again clarify that it was our first time *ever* visiting a bar. I completely understand that this staff member was trying to protect herself and the business from serving alcohol to underage individuals, but the treatment we faced was out of line. There was no reason for her to be screaming at us, pointing her finger in my partner's face, or consistently bothering us about laws throughout the rest of our visit. It could've been resolved in a much better manner. Ultimately, we won't be returning to the Lotus Room, which totally sucks because we love their whole concept of drinks and karaoke. In fact, we probably won't feel comfortable in the bar scene for a while. My one recommendation for the Lotus Room is that if you're going to scream in customer's faces, get someone to check ID's at the door.
