I spent very nice days in Prosser with my family. The Prosser House was our go to spot! We kept going back because of its food, its drinks, and the staff! You gotta try the soups. The clam chowder is excellent, but my personal favorite is the vegetable soup. My wife enjoyed the phenomenal fried green beans as well! We also liked the fish and chips (great cod!), my daughter had the sliders, and I got the skirt steak. We also got the chicken wings. Everything was delicious! The Bartender is top notch and the drinks are phenomenal! All the staff is great. Service is excellent. The owners John and Belem are amazing hosts and mingle with the community. Casey, Haley, and Jeren from the staff are also very attentive and friendly; they provide outstanding service! There's both patio and indoor seating, and the wall is decorated with historical pictures, which added to a great experience! read more

The Prosser House is such a great place to meet up for drinks, appetizers and dinner. I love how they have indoor and outdoor dining options. We like to sit inside, it's cozy and feels like you are in a home. The food is great! The menu is concise. A smart approach to highlight the best they have to offer. It's a simple but yet elegant menu. I like the burger and then upgrade to truffle fries. Honestly, I would go just for the truffle fries, but they have delicious entrees that can not be overlooked! The chicken wings are also amazing- my husband likes the portion and the sauce. They also have a great salad bar that is a rare in the valley. Love this little restaurant. read more

Tried this place out for the first time last night and let me tell you ..... it did not disappoint! I am already planning to go back! The service was great. Our server was kind and friendly and so willing to answer all of our questions and give recommendations! We sat outside on the super cute patio that had plenty of seating, sunshade, umbrellas, lights and everything they need to keep their customers comfortable. They had a great drink menu and a full bar. The drinks were delicious. Their food menu is a little on the limited side but there is definitely enough options to please everyone. They had gluten free bun and pasta options and all their salad dressings are GF which is great! We got the fried green beans and crispy Brussels sprouts and they were both phenomenal! Literally the best I have had! The marinated chicken thighs were cooked to perfection. They were served with this creamy butter sauce and OMG it was heavenly! We didn't have room for dessert but next time I'm for sure getting their affogato and churro fries! The table next to us had some and they looked delicious! Every time we come here food is good! On this occasion we came for the tomahawk special! This experience tonight was out of this world amazing! The staff was 1st class. The food was exquisite! My lemon drop was so smooth and I loved the foam on top, probably the best lemon drop I've ever had. The steak and mushroom soup was delicious and full of flavor. The appetizers were top notch. Let me tell you about the best part the tomahawk steak was cooked to perfection, I love the sides with it, the herb butter was the topping on the cake. I even liked how the chef came out and asked if everything was cooked to our liking! First class all the way! The weather was perfect as we enjoyed our dinner on the patio! Excellent Service food arrived quickly & was hot! Ambiance was chill & relaxed with music that was pleasant and not too loud. I ordered: appetizer- ravioli with Marinara sauce= light & flavorful. Entree- Special of the Day= 5 grilled cheese with salmon sandwich - cheese melted to perfection, salmon so light & flavorful. Husband had for entree- 3-piece fish & chips. In response to the business owner: It was me that came back the next day. I think you are talking about my MIL who actually lives locally and likely realized it wasn't very neighborly to write a negative review for a local business. She, however did not join us the following day for what was suppose to be brunch. We already had reservations for "Brunch" the following day and rather than changing the plan on my parents who were driving over from the Tri-Cities area l, we decided to give it another shot. My updated review would be, that the food was marginally better. We had the Shrimp Pasta, another Burger, Margarita Pizza and Mac and Cheese and the ginormous chicken Sandi. Everything was eatable and nothing had to be sent back. My parents enjoyed the Pasta, and my son loved his Chicken Sandwich (again). The rest was meh. We were disappointed in that when called and specifically asked about brunch, I was told yes, you serve brunch. So I made my reservation for Saturday (on the same call). There was no mention that you don't serve brunch on Saturday (apparently it's just a Sunday menu). Yes, I realize that two people from the same party wrote a review. As you can see, from my profile, I am an avid yelper, and I check in and write reviews all over the country. I try very hard to be honest and fair in my reviews. This place has been on our radar for some time, but only recently were we down in the Prosser area and had a chance to try it out. This place has a great vibe, really nice indoor and outdoor seating areas, and served up some great food! As with many new American type spots, the Appetizers were where they were playing with flavors and dishes the most. Amongst the two family group, we split some fried green beans, The Mexican street corn ribs (A delicious play on Mexican street corn), beer and cheese fries topped with blue cheese, bacon and other goodies, and finally some blistered Serano peppers. All of the appetizers were exceptional and made perfectly for sharing! They had plenty of different options for main courses including some really good pizza, a ton of different burgers and some more traditional dishes. My better half had a lovely salad, our seafood loving kiddo got and ensemble of fish, clams and shrimp in a white wine broth, and one of our compatriots had some really nice ravioli. The seafood was really the only thing that wasn't perfect, and end of the day it was still pretty good. The big kahuna burger took a couple of us to finish, it was a really nice burger with pineapple and grilled spam up top - a nice little nod to the favorite meat of Hawaii! The beer and wine selection was solid and aside from just being a little bit short staffed, the service was excellent. The owner/chef made his way around throughout the evening and was very nice. This is the sort of place that has a chance to really set itself apart as a spot that people will travel to. The menu was eclectic enough to keep foodies excited and familiar enough that even picky eaters will be able to find some things that they like. We highly recommend checking this place out... Unfortunately, we didn't even last five minutes here. We made a reservation because our party was fairly large. Upon arrival, the hostess asked "how many"-- I told her 6 and the name of our reservation. She then asked us again, "how many" and I repeated myself and followed up by asking if they had any outdoor seating. She said there wasn't any available, no problem we'll sit inside. When we were seated the same hostess brought water to the table and slammed the glasses on the table and was muttering things under her breath. I then watched her go back to the kitchen and saw her pointing at our table while speaking with the cooks. Well folks you know that means, so we left. Looking for a place for breakfast and tried here and enjoyed it. Even tho it's more of a pub so they don't have a big breakfast menu, what they had was solid. I got the chicken fried steak. It was nice and fried crispy. Not tough or stringy. Sausage gravy also solid and tasty. Asked for eggs over hard and that's how I got them. Service was good, friendly, and fast. This is a really cute location with a spacious patio area. The service is polite and apologetic when things weren't right. The soup was cream of asparagus. It was a light version which lacked any flavor. I added some pepper and a lot of salt to make it drinkable. I ordered the traditional Benedict. It was well executed and my eggs cooked to order. The taters were not warm but I ate them because I was hungry! My husband ordered the crab cake Benedict. The crab cake was really fishy and definitely not freshly made. He sent it back for a traditional Benedict. Sadly, that took a while so he ate solo. This location has great servers and great potential. read more

WE WILL ABSOLUTELY BE BACK!!!! We booked a reservation for 8 adults on a Saturday night after wine tasting around Prosser based on a map search of restaurants in the area and a quick Instagram picture scroll. I have to tell you, we're still talking about how amazing it was!! The restaurant has a large bar, some tables inside, and a patio that would be awesome on a hot summer night! We sat out on the patio and when it started getting a bit cooler we were able to enjoy their standing heaters. The waitress was great, helped answer all the questions we had (even going in and validating the answers to be sure), and took dealing with a large, post-wine-tasting group, with ease. John, the owner, came around multiple times to talk to us and tell us about his restaurant, his career, ask about us, and most importantly, to tell us about his food. HINT: ask for the half chicken!! If they have it, you won't be disappointed. We also had the sea bass, burger, skirt steak, asparagus... and so much more. So many great options! I appreciate small businesses that support other small businesses in the community - from giving us recommendations for wine tastings, things to do and food recommendations for future weekends in Prosser, to letting us bring in bottles of (local) wine purchased earlier that day, it's great to see people and businesses coming together! read more

Jack is a Great Bartender as with the rest of the staff they work as a team with smiles all around. The Bar is well stocked with great selections for any taste, Wine, exotic whiskeys, Bourbons, Scotch. The Beer Selection is the Greatest in town and also hosts local Micro Brews too. We Love the Ambiance of the place to the point we had our Wedding there and all our guests were Delighted and continue to tell us how much they Enjoyed the place. The inviting patio drew us here after settling into our Airbnb down the street. The weather was perfect and the drinks were good, but the service was painfully slow. By the time salads arrived, our glasses were empty, so we ordered new drinks, no big deal, grateful to finally have food. We took one bite of salad -- literally one -- and suddenly another server showed up with our entrees. We had to shuffle everything around to juggle both courses instead of enjoying them one at a time, and we didn't care for that. The food was plated nicely though, and it was good, and the patio was relaxing and had a nice vibe. Overall, it was a good experience, but the timing was a bit off. read more
