Half chicken floss, half pork floss
    Carina And Abi H.

Was first introduced to this place from a friend who gifted us a box and I loved it! It's been more than a year since then and I have not forgotten about these buns and I went back a few months ago. Taste: The baos are super soft and fluffy. The cream is the middle is sweet while the pork and chicken floss add a bit of saltiness which perfectly combines the flavours. Texture could be comparable to fluffy Japanese pancakes, that's how fluffy they are! Can't choose between which I liked more, the chicken or pork floss, because both tasted delicious and were unique in their own way. If you get the chance to try this place, I suggest you get their mix of pork and chicken floss since the chicken (crab egg flavour) is more sweet and the pork floss (seaweed flavour) is more salty than the chicken floss buns. I actually ate the whole box myself as family members weren't interested in it. But even after eating the full box, I couldn't stop thinking about it! Price: Love the buns but they are on the expensive side. They are worth the occasional splurge in my opinion and I rationalize the cost by considering it a gift to myself. Mix of Pork Floss Cake (Seaweed Flavour) + Chicken Floss Cake (Crabegg Flavour): $21.75 Wish it was location closer to me as I would get them more often but a bit happy it's further away as I would be spending a lot of my money here. A must try and I recommend you pick up a box when you're in the North York area! Great for gifts as it's unique and tastes good.

As a super fan of pork floss that goes well practically anything (rice, bun, sandwiches), had to give this a try. Bakery is small and mainly for express takeout only. Apparently a famous bakery from China. Ordered 6 pack of mixed flavor (Crabegg Chicken Floss and Sesame Seawood Pork Floss) for $21. It's essentially a bun filled with custard and a ton of pork and chicken floss on the outside. Personally I really enjoyed the floss only as the custard was too soft and creamy. Asides from that not much else on their menu. A bit overpriced for a dessert snack so likely will only go back if have a huge craving for floss.

How fluffy are these bad boyz?! First time trying them, and I literally ate 3 out of the 6 buns. I got the pork floss of course! A bit pricey but hey, got to try them because I heard so much hype about these si fu baos! It's like a soft chiffon type of texture. I thought I would not enjoy the pork floss, because I don't even eat the regular chinese buns with pork floss on them. The white sauce, I have no idea what is in it... but it compliments the whole bun. So if you are looking for the right amount of sweet and savoury treats...for sure try si fu bao pastry.

I read a lot of reviews from other people who said how they don't taste authentic or is a fake oversea copy brand, but my experience is different as I've never tried the bakery in Asia before. As it was my first time here, I wanted to try their cake baos as my coworker bought one before and I was able to try abit of it. The workers were very helpful and nice to us when we came, and even helped us decide on what to get. Generally the price overall is a bit high as to get 6 will be at least $24, and you can't buy it individually. Their cake Baos come in 2 different floss options; chicken or pork. We got the mixed option as we liked both floss haha. The pork floss was very soft, and the chicken floss is a bit crunchier if you like that texture. The baos were very soft, and very creamy inside. Although they are pretty fatty, this is definitely a good treat to reward yourself ;)

So far the only flavours I manage to have right now is the pork floss and seaweed filled with the creamy mayonnaise.

My wife always judges a French Cafe by their Butter Croissant ($3.00) and she liked it! She also noticed all the  staff speak French sp it gives it even more legitimacy.  She also ordered a Flat White ($4.50) which was also good. I ordered a Plum Almond Tart ($7.25) because it was the prettiest. It was super delicious so it was definitely a good choice! Service was courteous and friendly. You place your order at the counter and bring it to your table. Someone will come around to clear the dishes when you are done It is a great place to have a nice casual time eating and socializing. They make all their food in-house in the basement. There are products for sale such as coffee beans, fruit syrup, maple syrup, smoked sauces, olive oil, scented soap, wine glassware, etc. I will definitely come back again to try other items. There is free WiFi. The neo-bisto is not wheelchair accessible since there are stairs leading up to the entrance. There are two gender-neutral washrooms. There is free street parking on their one-way south-bound street. Review 2023-017

Amazing place! I…read morecalled ahead to find out if they had this plum tart I purchased the first time I was there. Yet no one answered the phone. No problem. Hopped on my bike and a half hour later I was there. The friendly staff helped me by answering my question regarding eggs and which items did not have any in the recipes. This place was also super poppin' when I got there. It was earlish in the day around 10:30am and it seemed all the tables were pretty much taken. They are adding a dinner menu which is very exciting. Their pastries are phenomenal!!! Picked up a plum and pistachio tart, a chocolate mousse cake and an apple Danish for my mom. Plus a chocolate caramelized croissant. So much butter, and yet so good. Brought my container, which they happily used. The last time I visited this spot back in 2022, I vowed I would come back and take up space in that beautiful bay window seat. Yet I haven't followed through with that yet. One day. They also changed the name, since I was there last it was called Le Conciliabule Lab. Le Conciliabule means, "speak easy", as their website says. It was used back in the day to describe a place where people would come together and talk about everything and nothing. I can definitely say that happens here. What a beautiful concept, "everything and nothing". Now named Bisou, which means kiss. That's actually really simple and sweet. Since every pastry and any food item or beverage enjoyed here is a kiss for your tastebuds. Love it. Keep going team. You are amazing!
