One of the better, if not best Banh Mi places in Mississauga. They're always busy, at any given time or day of the week! Although going on weekends will get you the freshest subs. Their offerings during week are still great, but not always consistently fresh. Their assorted subs are our household go-to! They aren't able to give you anything on the side other than the chilis but you can always ask for extra pate or their butter/mayo on the subs themselves. The assorted subs come with Vietnamese ham, Vietnamese sausage, and Vietnamese bacon. Their "bacon" can be really fatty and not very pleasant to eat if cold; I would ask to sub this out if you're looking for a leaner, healthier option. The a la carte pate (and most likely their other fresh market items) to purchase are supplied by Nguyen Huong. If you are able to make it out to the Nguyen Huong locations, they'll more than likely be cheaper and fresher. They have an ongoing promotion where you can buy 10 subs and get 1 free. Customer service is a very big hit-or-miss. Non-Vietnamese speakers are best off interacting with the cashier, to avoid any miscommunication. So i ordered 3 bbq pork and 1 chicken....one of the pork spicey for my sister. The spicey sauce they used is made w scotch bonnet peppers so it actually has flavour as well as and spice to it. The pork was seasoned perfectly tasted kind of sweet and super tender. They arent stingy either, good portion of veggie to meat ratio as well. Love the spread they use with the mayo as well. The bread used is definitely baked fresh daily and you can tell. Even being there 30mins before closing the bread was still super soft and nice crisp on the outside. I have absolutely no complaints. This is probably one of the best Banh Mi Bakery is Mississauga. Unfortunately the customer service does not hold up to par. They instantly assumes you are Viet if you look anything close to being Asian but whatever. I am usually with someone who is able to speak Vietnamese and they would take over. They have two windows menu but don't be fooled. It is repetitive. Only four different kind of subs. The spread they use is a mixture of the Vietnamese mayo and Pate. If you are allergic to Diary, please state you only want the Pate spread and they will accommodate. The subs are 3.50 a piece and they have a promo if you buy ten, you'll get one for free. They have a bunch of other Vietnamese dishes but not as much as the one downtown - Banh Mi Huong (that place is OG). They take cash and debit. read more

I came here out of curiosity a few years ago after trying my co workers wanted to get food from a few doors down. I don't speak Vietnamese but they assumed I did which was sort of funny because all I was doing was pointing and nodding, oufff probably one of the better subs I had in the GTA can't say it's the best I had but it's up there! Some places the crust is so sharp it rubs the roof of your mouth off. Not here, its crunchy but soft. Innards are tender and chewy. The fillings are about the same as anywhere else though we found the pork to be tastier than the chicken. I also liked that they didn't overload with mayo. One of my favourite authentic Vietnamese sub stores in the GTA. It's very Vietnamese based and I understand why people would struggle if they don't speak Vietnamese. But if you can manage to order a banh mi, I promise you it's worth the struggle. The baguettes are baked daily and has been this way since my parents brought me here when I was still a kid. The mayo/pare mixture is soooo good and although I always get banh mi cha lau instead of the thap cam (assorted) they easily fill my order and they don't skimp out on the fillings either. I also love the variety of Vietnamese snacks they have from banh chuoi hap, banh da lon, and soi. Since I'm based in Hamilton for school there isn't a store where I can buy Vietnamese subs and snacks so when I go to my parents I seem to always hoard back a bunch of food. Being fluent in Vietnamese, I haven't experienced some of the problems other reviewers have, but nevertheless, my rating still seems to be consistent. I really enjoy the Banh Mi here as they are fresh, and have perfect ratios in terms of the bulk of the Banh Mi itself. Where I deducted one star is due to the inconsistency of their mayo in which I have found to sometimes be a little sour/stronger. Not that big of a deal, but sometimes throws me off a bit. I usually just buy the Assorted Meat (Bánh Mì Thap Cam) but I have discovered a new favourite. I highly recommend the Bánh Mì Patê Bo Chà Bông which translates to Rousong and Pâté according to Wikipedia. It is less filling than the assorted meat, but I've found it to be tastier and less heavy. Also, you can ask for it to be spicy where they add grounded fresh peppers. This will cause some parts of the Banh Mi to be spicier than others so eat with caution! Anyways, I think this is a great place to grab some delicious Banh Mi, but beware that you will have to face a great language barrier, and perhaps some small inconsistencies. read more
