This was only my second place that I've tried on my quest but I literally have to desire to look further. This is the one. Tom Kha Soup - just get it. I got mine with chicken and it was delicious but I could also see this ordered with only veggies being just as banging! Shrimp pad Thai- so so sooooo good and flavorful. Came by for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised by this place. There is ample parking and it is easy to find. The servers are friendly, and give you space to enjoy your food while still being attentive. The papaya salad is freshly made + refreshing, and comes with enough for two to share. Great presentation on their main plates + dessert. The Sex on The Moon Roll was delicious- perhaps a bit heavy on the sauce, but fantastic nonetheless. I do have to add that there was a screen displaying what appeared to be videos of an Asian market or kitchen of some kind- the images included entrails and other animal parts being prepared. Since I have only been here once, it's hard to say if this is common, however I can understand how some could be off-put by seeing this. It's in Hollywood so not close to where I live but whenever I'm remotely in the area, I always order takeout. My favorite is the Basil Sauce stir fry with chicken. It never disappoints. The flavors are always on point. Now, the brown rice leaves much to be desired. So just don't order that. A must-try if you're in the neighborhood. read more

I love Thai food and this place did not disappoint. I started with the Tom kha, it was sooo tasty I couldn't put down my spoon. This is one of my favorite soups and this place was in my top 5. The papaya salad was my main and it was fresh and delicious. My employee had the fried rice with beef, pork and chicken. He said it was great, it was so much that he took leftovers with him. The menu and even items that hadn't been removed from the original menu are completely different. Some are really good, but the classics that I used to like at this spot are not as good as they used to be. Cashew chicken is liquidy instead of saucy like it used to be. And my Thom Kha soup with shrimp had literally 3 pieces of shrimp in it. They used to make a Thom Kha with multiple seafood and there was a lot more of it. Probably one of the best Thai restaurant around my area! The drive is definitely worth it! I always go here during lunch because they have lunch specials. Their lunch specials are all around $12ish and it comes with a side of either soup or one spring roll. I always get the spring roll because they fry it fresh. One time I got the soup, but it didn't look appetizing to me. It was like a broth with frozen peas and carrots. After that I've always stuck with the spring roll. Also, their portions are decently large compared to other restaurants. It's definitely worth the price. Their pad thai is extremely mouth watering just thinking about it. I like my food spicy, so I ask them to bring me the spicy pepper flakes/powder. I only add about half the spoon because it's really spicy. So be careful when adding the spicy pepper flakes/powder. Oh my gosh, this place is a must!!! I came here with my mother and the food was exceptional and very healthy. The service was very sweet and the decoration makes the place look beautiful. Service was great, but food was quite lacking. I was very disappointed because I was craving Thai for a while and had high hopes from the reviews. We went around 5:30pm so maybe it was too early for dinner and they served leftovers because the food was really chewy and did not taste fresh. Beef satay - dry, really tough, hard to chew, hard to cut with a knife, had to literally yank it. Papaya Salad - tasted like soy sauce, papaya was not fresh, not crunchy, and were not cut properly into strips. You can see they were peeling it but didn't get to the end so it would be whole chunks. Wasn't that spicy, so ask them to make it spicier if that's your thing. Red Curry with chicken - the chicken was really tough and dry, ironic because it's in a curry, but I think it was cooked for hours and reheated for us. I enjoyed that it had eggplant because I usually don't see that included. I love the meat to veggie ratio, almost like 50/50 or 40/60 (I love veggies!) The curry tasted good. Thai tea was good. Indoor is super casual with booths along the sides and tables in the center. I wouldn't return to this place, but maybe it was a one off and usually their food quality is better. read more

I had many-a-curry that has been watered down, or under flavored, or over flavored with salt, and this place is not that. They do a great job of infusing the flavors into the protein of your choice, whether it is meat or tofu. I've had the pleasure of enjoying the following dishes: pad Thai, panang curry, pad see ew, pad see mao. They were all good. As mentioned before, this place has never messed up my order. They offer good consistent food at a good price point and we will continue to be repeat customers here. We went to this restaurant 30 minutes before closing and the waiters were so nice to us and didn't treat us like the last minute people that we were. That was big for us and we ate and finished before they closed so we wouldn't burden them as much as we have. We ordered the special fried rice, drunken noodles and pad thai. Special Fried Rice: 10/10, it was so delicious and reminded us of our main Thai restaurant that is also a 10/10. Probably the best dish out of them all. You can find beers from 3-4$ and their Thai tea for 2.75. Those are just some notables. What outweighs the pros is that the food is not cheap during dinner time. I'm sure you even get the same portions you get for dinner for lunch. The appetizers we got were the calamari, coco shrimp, and golden wings. The calamari was prob the best of the selection but all were just whatever. Nothing to drool over. However, appetizers come out fast! The entree we got was the beef fried rice.. soft and not tasty. The beef was the best part. The combination pad Thai came with beef, chicken and shrimp. Beef tasty, chicken dry and shrimp is just shrimp lol... Service was deceiving. My wife and I have been disappointed the last few times we visited after the covid shut down. The quantity and quality of the food has dwindled to the point of being unacceptable for some of the menu items we were accustomed with. In particular, we must mention the sushi rolls and for instance the Chanmai rolls are now about 1/2 the diameter that they were before the covid shut down. This is unacceptable. There is less meat in all of the meat dishes we previously ordered. I'm unsure if we will go back. The tea is still great but the food needs to come back to the standards that originally hooked us. read more

One of the best Thai restaurants for sure! Once upon a time, I learned from a professional chef how to make Pad Thai. It was an amazing experience, I held dinner parties with this fabulous chef and I am so grateful for those moments. One of the main things that I learned, while it is quite obvious, is that fresh ingredients and a well seasoned wok (for pad Thai) are key. In this Covid madness, I have been ordering exponentially more than on those glorious days when kids had school and I only had to cook 1/meal a day! I have ordered from a few Thai places, and really, none of them compare. You can tell that the noodles are made fresh, and all the ingredients are high quality. The curry dishes are also very good, and I love bamboo shoots! Try the pumpkin soup! When I was in elementary schools, my dad would take me to an organic restaurant that served pumpkin and carrot soup, remember how amazing it was and what a great time I had with my dad on those outings.
