    Happy Hour Menu

My husband was out of town so I was solo dining tonight and sat at the Sushi Bar area. Service was not only great, the sushi chefs were so nice and I had a fun conversation about eating Horseshoe crabs which was one of the videos that was on the TV on the wall. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I liked that it was busy but not too crowded.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They do a great take out service and the menu is perfect for everything from the freshest sushi to the most creative Thai dishes. I ordered a BoGo Kirin Light (on Happy Hour) which was served very cold and refreshing. The Kanisu Roll was so fresh and a very pretty as well as healthy. The Chim Salad was the best. There is no lettuce but plenty of salmon and tuna with cucumber, avocado and little jalapeños rings. The seaweed Salad on top was plentiful and the dish itself was excellent. I asked for a little spicy mayo on the side to layer into the Nori paper to make little sushi tacos. I loved this dish and would definitely order it again. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The casual conversation from the other person sitting by me and the guys behind the bar made for the perfect evening.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This was my first visit here but I will dine here again to try some other menu items. Prices are very reasonable and so was the portion sizes. This is a great neighborhood sushi restaurant.

Stopped by this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon. They do not have a specific lunch menu. I enjoyed the house salad with ginger dressing some places make it spicy but theirs was great. You can also get it with peanut dressing. I ordered the volcano roll not spicy thinly sliced. The server was really nice, him and the hostess kept coming to check on us and refill our water glasses. I will return again and try another dish soon. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is clean and dimly lit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The music was at a comfortable volume. I was definitely vibing to the playlist. Parking is free and there are usually spots available out front

    Four Friends Roll

One of the best sushi experiences I've had in a while! The Four Friends roll was incredibly fresh and flavorful. I also had a side salad, which was delicious as well. My only minor suggestion would be to offer tamari as a gluten-free alternative to soy sauce, but otherwise everything was fantastic. Everyone in my group loved their rolls, and we'll absolutely be coming back!

I want to abide by my regular stance of "I won't give you 5 stars as my first review." But... Chim has earned it. The ridiculously delicious sushi & Thai dishes here is somw of the best food I have had in this genre. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service is solid and ambiance is casual and a little trendy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice spot out by sawgrass mall. Spacious with a fairly nice interior and the food is good and well priced.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had a pad see ew and really enjoyed how they prepared it. Portion was good, especially given the fair pricing. I left very satisfied with this meal and the people were nice. Good place for a bite after you're hangry from shipping all day!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute, quiet and cozy and fresh tasty food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Been driving past this spot and curious what this place was all about. Nestled between Starbucks and a little ice cream place. We ordered a tuna tataki appetizer and a few dishes. I had the pad Thai and my partner had the stir fry. Everything was fresh and nice portions. Great service. Lots of choices to try next time.

Ordered some take out per usual and it was delicious. You can not go wrong with this place. The food is always ready by the time they say and the service is always great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a cute place to go in for a casual dinner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I might try dine in next time and see how it goes. I ordered a chicken pad Thai and spicy garlic edamame.. 10/10 for both!

Consistently tasty food every time I'm here. One of my favorite lunch spots where I usually get B1 or B2. I can depend on a friendly and efficient service whenever I'm here. Allows me to find time for it during my work break. The ambiance won't wow you with its standard oriental decor. But it's clean and neat and that's all I ever ask

Had dinner last night at one of my favorite Thai restaurants called Chim Authentic Thai and Sushi. It is located in Plantation, Florida. My favorite dish that I get every time is the Kao Na Kra-Pow with extra Crispy Pork (medium hot). It taste delicious . The chili garlic sauce and basil leaves give it a savory and sweet flavor. The service is always great and the wait staff is always nice, friendly and attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love coming here for a nice relaxing dinner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I highly recommend Chim's if your looking for an amazing local Thai and Sushi restaurant in the Fort Lauderdale area.

Excellent service. Ceviche appetizer is a must! Well made and delicious! Crispy Rice sushi was crispy and tasty. Duck dish on the menu is phenomenal. Chicken Soup is good enough for two or three. Very good. Didn't try any sushi but based on the quality of fish in the ceviche I'm sure it's also good n

I finally made my way to this great neighborhood Thai and Sushi restaurant. We met friends for dinner here who have been telling us it's one of their new faves. The staff was super friendly and full of smiles. When I took my video they even arranged the food for the best angle, smiled and waved, lol. I tried a little of everything and it was all fresh and delicious. The prices were reasonable too. I did take off one star because my Pad Thai came out after everyone else had basically eaten. That being said, it was plentiful (enough to share) and super delicious. Our waitress Katie was very sweet and apologetic advising they were backed up in the kitchen. All in all, we enjoyed and will definitely be back for more.

Salmon Cali roll with torched salmon on top - super fresh & creamy without tons of sauces - a winner

It was a jumbo tray with a full pineapple, fried rice, flavorful meat, and an appetizer. I do not recall because it's been a while. At that point, I would have given this place five stars because we had good service. But the second time around, I came with a girlfriend, and it was disappointing. Because I had a good time the first time, I thought she would like it too, and assumed all the other menu items would be up to par along with the customer service... But it was a stark difference from the last visit. We took our time perusing through the menu, which is large and had good variety, so it took us a while to finally decide. But I was perplexed why we never got the platter menu so after some time, I asked our waitress for the menu and she said "Oh whoops, I should've given that first!" That already was a red flag because if that's the first menu for us to see, in which it was the first menu I saw last time, it tells me their platters are the best sellers and the rest of the menu are mid... My friend ordered the chicken teriyaki and she wasn't pleased. I thought it's perhaps because she chose a simpler dish, but when she offered me to try it, I can see why she disliked it... The chicken was unbearably dry and lacked flavor. I got the Hong Kong noodles with beef and it wasn't bad. We shared egg rolls before our meals which were OK, but I never received my tom yum soup. The service was slow and the waitress was not attentive at all. It was a little busier with several tables filled compared to my last visit, but we saw a party of three arrive 20 minutes after us and they were able to leave before we finished our dinner, so that made us feel like we were an afterthought. So with that experience, I bring my stars down to 3 and recommend that if you do visit, the large sharable platters are the only things worth it there. As you've read in my experience, customer service is hit or miss. It looks like a trendy spot with each booth having a neon-lit quote, so I'll give it that. The platters looked very trendy and aesthetic, but the apps and meals we had from the regular menu did NOT look trendy or aesthetic at all. It seems that they only focus their creativity and energy on those three platters.

On a Sunday evening, we didn't have an issue getting seated. The restaurant is spacious and has a nice ambience. To start, we ordered the crazy jalapeño appetizer, which is tempura fried stuffed with krab and cream cheese. Very delicious and filling at $9. We both agreed that we would order this one again. Next up was 2 blue crab masago hand rolls with 4 pieces of seared scallop nigiri. Honestly, the hand rolls without any texture (cucumber, tempura flakes, etc) was a little flat for me. The crab tasted a little fishy too. Out of all the items we tried this was our least favorite. You can't go wrong with seared scallops, these were perfect in flavor and texture. Our last appetizer was the tempura vegetables. Everything was cooked well and very fresh tasting with the tempura fry. The stars were definitely the rolls.
