Yes, this place hits. Cozy and steamy! Stroll around Gamla Stan, then duck in for a beautiful bowl…read moreof noodles. Watching from the the bar, we chose from 3 simple and delicious broths. The noodles were carefully tucked and folded into a bed, then the torch-seared char siu was layered on top. Then, the generous portions of onions, bamboo, and a perfectly-cooked egg. Yum. The restaurant itself is umarked on the outside. Once you find it, you will enter into a minimalistic space where the natural light bounces off the warm grey walls. The stop into the noodle shop will be quick. The rigid bar stools don't encourage you to longer long, because after every last perfectly cooked noodle has been slurped up, a new patron will enter into this oasis for a hot, satisfying bowl.

We had to wait just a couple of minutes for two tables to open up but it was well worth the wait. The menu is limited, but I appreciate that they are serving what they know they have perfected. My husband and I both ordered the shoyu ramen. The broth is so flavorful and the pork is so thinly sliced, which I appreciate. I don't do runny yoke in an egg, but my husband enjoyed that component. The woman working in the restaurant was so friendly and quick to tend to our table. This is a hidden gem that you should check out if you like ramen!

So, it's like 30 degrees in Sweden and when it's cold outside, what better way than to warm yourself up with some delicious pho soup. We looked up the closest pho spot and saw that this place was nearby and had ok reviews. We glanced at the menu and was shocked by the prices lol. USD$20+ for a bowl of pho? What is this madness? When we got our bowls of bun bo hue they had very little meat in them and it didn't even taste like bun bo hue and they also had very little noodles compared to all the places in 626. The soup wasn't even that good either.. Oh yeah and we ordered the egg rolls which were maybe like USD$10ish and they brought out 2 egg rolls. I was like wait, where are the rest of them? Sadface.

The menu is posted on the back wall in the back of the restaurant, which is also where you order before sitting down. I chose the chicken pho, as it included both white and dark meat, which you don't see at most places, and my friend ordered the tofu pho. We both emptied our bowls and left quite satisfied. The portion size is OK. I wish there had been a small and large option. Service was fine.
