An amazing spot to visit for some locally brewed beers and seltzers! This brewery is located in Collingwood, only minutes away from Blue Mountain. We dropped by and enjoyed tacos and drinks as well as the local live music duo that was playing! It was busy and full of friendly locals. There is a good selection of beers - around a dozen sours and ales - and 4 seltzer flavours. You can try the ones on tap before deciding. Plus they have a flight option if you want to have several at once! After enjoying our time there we bought a 6 pack of different drinks to go. Definitely recommend this place! read more

Side Launch Brewing has a great selection of beers. Lindsay was helpful with my flight selection, Passionate Sour, Hibiscus Sour, Pineapple Sour IPA and the Vanilla Porter was a good balance of very smooth sours and Porter that could be dessert any time of the day. My spouse wasn't for sure Lager, Pilsner anything wet.. glad Lindsay offered a few suggestions and tasters. Final choice was the Dark Lager. Great beer selection and seltzers. You can choose a 4 glass flight and choose from any on tap beer, seltzers or specialty brew. I tried the mountain and any day brew. Amazing service - my parents were unsure what they wanted so the lady working there essentially allowed them to test try all the options before making their decision. I mentioned that I'm the driver so I won't be having any and the lady was kind enough to bring over a non-alcoholic beverage for me (on the house!). She also brought a water bowl for my dog (side note: I love that this place allows you to bring your dog inside!). Ambiance - we went in the afternoon on a weekday and when we arrived, there were only a few other customers inside. I know they occasionally host events such as live music and game nights (I believe mainly weekends) but we really enjoyed how quiet it was. Good Drinks - My parents both really enjoyed the flight of beer. My mother never really liked "fruity beer" but she tried the Pineapple Sour IPA and she absolutely loved it. We even bought a few cans to bring home. When I am back in Collingwood next time, I will 100% visit here again! read more

Unless the beer is undrinkable &/or the service absolutely stinks, most breweries will get a 5* in my books! Stopped by here after Blue Mountain, on a Saturday afternoon, and it was pretty packed! They also have a large, outdoor patio with umbrellas and stuff like cornholing and ax throwing. It's counter service, so the "bartender" is also the cashier. You order at the cash, pay, and take a seat. This particular brewery encouraged sampling, so yet another reason for the 5*s! A band started to play while I was there, so it was a bit loud, but they were GOOD! It was $15/flight of 4, so pretty average price. They had quite a few beers on tap, various varieties. Great place to stop by if you're in the Collingwood area. read more

LOVED this brewery! We haven't always loved Canadian breweries. This one just moved to #1 on our Canadian brewery list. They have a great assortment of both lagers and sours. They were all good. Our server was very nice, and, very knowledgeable. All we can say is, just GO! read more

Great spot to visit if you're in Collingwood. The brewery is incredibly spacious and has lots of seating for tastings. For $10 you can choose which beers you want to sample in a flight. They have the classics, as well as some limited edition and seasonal beers that might not be available at the LCBO. Good opportunity to buy some of their popular beers for cheaper than what you can get at the LCBO and fresher too! Can also pick up some Side Launch swag which is cute. read more

You get to learn about the history of the place and the tour of the facilities shows how much love and passion they have for their craft. The bar area is cool where you can sample their selection and it's just a big, open, and spacious place. I stayed to have a flight of their offerings and I think I became a fan. This is a great spot! Huge ceilings and lots of seating. Great selection of beers on tap - the regulars you often see in the LCBO plus some seasonal and small-batch options. Flights are a good deal at $10 for 4 x 6oz pours (these are healthy-sized pours)! Service was very friendly, and knowledgable. Good music playing and they also had cornhole which we played for a bit. I visited this business as part of a Brewery Tour I participated in with some of my friends. The tour we took was amazing. We went mid-afternoon and were so pleased with the experience we had with the Side Launch Brewery. The staff at the brewery were courteous and treated our group well. They took us through the brewery, describing the process of brewing the beer. They were very knowledgeable and patient when answering our questions. It was fantastic getting a chance to sample some of the beers. The wheat beer is my fave (yellow can). Be sure to try it. Many of our group made some purchases to take home with us.
