What a great company! These windows are amazing, but the entire process was made simple and homeowner-friendly. We never anticipated how much of a difference these Beachworth windows would make. They operate flawlessly, are beautiful in design, and are made to last. They help provide and a comfortable, constant indoor temperature, and we have used less heat in the winter and less a.c. in the summer. We have noticed, also, that they also cut down on outside noise, a benefit we never really thought about, but a definite improvement. Simply stated, these SoftLite windows are top grade. We can't imagine any better. Yes, the windows are great. But the staff is first class as well! From our initial contact with John through the installation, the entire process was low stress and professional. The technicians were amazing. These two gentlemen made an impressive team, as they completed the installation of our 24 windows quickly, quietly and professionally. Their work was flawless. They were diligent in detecting any areas of concern and involved us in the process as they went along. They took their work very seriously, and were so neat and clean that we had difficulty knowing what rooms they had been in without checking the windows! We have lived in our 1895 Evanston home for two years, and for much of those two years worked with various contractors on projects big (new addition on the back) and small (new tile in the bathroom) and no contractor has compared to the Siding and Windows Group. From the time we signed the contract last March to completion this past week, every step along the way has been detailed, honest and transparent. Our project consisted of removing the 50+ year old cedar siding and gutters and replacing it with new hardy siding and new gutters along with residing our two car garage. The work was impeccable and the crew respectful of us and our neighbors as well. Everyday for the 4 week project, they arrived at 7am and worked until 6pm or later; each craftsman was more of a perfectionist then the next! Aside from the quality of work (unmatched) each day the job site was cleaned up, and ready for the next day. The crew was polite, informative and dedicated, and Greg (the owner) was more then happy to work with us on an issue that arose dealing with the original windows. We cannot stress how fantastic our experience was, it was a pleasure to work with such a professional company and wish we could hire them to complete any and all work needed on our home in the future. Although we got off to a rough start, Neil and Greg came through in the end. It took about a year and a half from our first appointment to the completion, but that was due to a number of factors--including our budget. We have a 19th century Chicago worker's cottage that had been through many "renovations" throughout the years. Essentially, we had to undo a century of "remodeling" which included asbestos siding and replacing leaky vinyl construction grade windows in front. When we asked for historical trim, we got the style of what was uncovered underneath the layers of siding. Whenever there was an issue, they came through--maybe not the first time, but they listened and responded. Even though Neil was the design guy, he'd respond when we needed something during the construction. All of the materials were of high quality and negotiated within our budget. As homeowners know, relationships with contractors are a big deal, and once a good one is found, you don't want to let go! We're happy to say that we plan to work with Siding & Windows Group in the future. I submitted a VERY detailed custom windows request, in writing on March 10, 2021, to Siding & Windows Group in Glenview for a replacement windows project in Edgewater. An immediate initial follow-up came within 10 minutes from Angelo Liosatos. He had a solid quote on my project within two days - The price point was reasonable, and I chose to move forward. We agreed to have him meet up at my home to take final measurements and review the nuisances of my windows project. Angelo was on time, courteous, professional and answered all my questions in detail. He also indicated that Siding & Windows Group was willing to accommodate my request for some additional window trim work and add that into the project. I had researched Siding & Windows Group online and noted that they had impeccable reviews from Yelp, Google and the Better Business Bureau. I signed the contract for the project, and I look forward to the completion of this phase of my replacement windows plan. This is one of THE MOST PROFESSIONAL outfits I have ever dealt with. I learned of them by watching my neighbor's house get resided and being able to observed their workmanship. We could not be happier with the professionalism, quality, and timeframe to complete a difficult siding replacement project on our 1890's vintage home in the Lakeview neighborhood in Chicago. The crew was friendly and arrived each day prior to the planned start time (so they could commence work at 8am on the dot, when City laws allow for construction to get underway). The steep three-story home was no issue for this crew that safefy and efficiently navigated a variety of ladders and platforms required to reach the various areas, ranging upwards of 50 feet. The finished project was completed well ahead of what we originally had assumed would be a couple weeks of work (three full weekdays plus one partial weekend day to completely remove and re-side a full house) and the results were perfection. Shortly after moving into our house we discovered that we had to re-side the whole house due to thousands of micro-cracks in our ancient cedar siding. We considered many options, but finally, we decided to re-side with Hardy Board as we favored that aesthetic. For our project we actually worked with two different siding companies. Due to the unexpected nature (and unexpected cost) of our project we divided it into 2 years. For the first part of the project, we used a different company (NOT Siding & Windows Group) and had a very unsatisfactory experience--improper installation of materials and horrible customer service. I am happy to say that the second phase of our project by Siding & Windows Group went much smoother, and we're very happy with the end product. read more

Siding & Windows Group did a fantastic job replacing our original cedar siding with Hardie Board. They also wrapped the soffets and fascia with aluminum, and installed new wider downspouts. Bart was a pleasure to work with in negotiating the work to be done and the price.
