I then received notification of a Mechanics Lien filed on me due to Chisholm Trail Roofing & Construction's non payment of materials to another company. This is a violation to the Construction Trust Fund Act. Another disappointment is I have had a shingle fly off my new roof and many other shingles flapping. Upon completion of their work I had to have Direct TV out to reinstall our dish. They had not attached it correctly and misplaced two screws. There were several nails in the yard. They utilized my dog pet scoop rake to rake up some of the nails and then left the rake in the middle of the yard. They left a bundle of nails, shingles and a batter pack behind too. The owner did communicate with me during this month to assure me the bill would be settled. However it has not been settled and he quit communicating about one week ago. I have also submitted a Roofing Contractor Complaint with the Construction Industries Board in an effort to have notification available to others seeking roofing work.
