Communication was first class (either by text, conversation, or phone call). 2. Their detail in their work surpassed our expectation. 3. If we had a "concern" or question. They listened and answered - problem was always solved. 4. All of the material that was used within the construction was approved by us before installation. Now to explain how this work with us. We had major reconstruction. We had a plan to remove a low bearing wall, for an open concept floor plan. We explained our vision, plan was made, and the work started. During the process of our construction, there were changes that I made (painted the trim, new base boards, & lighting). These changes weren't small changes. Everyone loves last minutes changes (LOL). However, there wasn't a problem. We got 5 inch base boards, trim was painted white, and hanging light over the sink. I do have before and after pictures. However, I was unable to post on this thread. The new unit was smaller than the other one so he had to make some modifications in order for the new one too fit properly. He picked up the new one at Home Depot and brought it with him, arriving right on time. He did this install on a Sunday so it accommodated my schedule which was also very helpful. His work is quite professional. He cleaned up after himself & took away all of the packing materials. I most certainly will call Mr. Givens for any future home repairs.

They demanded payment before they finished their contract and threatened to file a lien on my home if I didn't agree to pay them before they completed their work. I'm still picking up nails and roofing material in my yard that was supposed to be removed. They also broke all of my flowerbed yard lights and a ceramic bird bath. I ended up contracting another company to finish the job. I have since found out that other companies charge much less for the same work. There are several good roofing contractors out there but Southlake Builders isn't one of them.

Lee Heinken, with Hero General Contracting, met with the adjuster and said we had received a fair amount for the repairs from our insurance company. We agreed to use his company to do the work. He completed the paperwork for our Homeowners Association and as soon as we received their approval he scheduled to have our roof replaced. They had a large crew and had the new roof installed in one day. They returned the next day to install roof vents. They were careful to protect our shrubs and flowers. They cleaned up and hauled off all of the trash. They sent a crew to install new rain gutters. They made certain that the gutters were sloped properly so that they would drain and not let water pool up. They also cleaned up their trash. There were many cracked trim boards and I had one fascia board that woodpeckers had damaged over the years. I selected All Oklahoma Roofing and Construction for two reasons: 1) That had excellent BBB and customer ratings. 2) Their bid was much lower than the other bidders. Three subcontractors came to do the work. 1st) Did the carpenter repairs which took about a week. 2nd) Primed all the new bare wood and double layered the house with Sherwin Williams Super Paint which I had to pay extra for and well worth it. This took about 4 days. 3rd) New gutters to the new trim which was completed in two hours. All three subcontractors for All Oklahoma Roofing and Construction did a very expert job and I'm very happy with the results. I recommend anyone looking to have their house painted to go with this company. The job will be done right!
