They weren't familiar with the laws in my state and now they are in negotiating all they can tell me is they are trying to max out both policies and can't give me any sort of methodology whatsoever. I hired Siegfried and Jensen on a personal injury case involving an automobile accident with a cop. I based my decision to use them on the fact that all of my adult life, I had seen them advertised on TV and billboards as the best in the state. It just proves that advertising buys you a lot of business. It was a simple case of a high speed highway accident with a cop, were the cop was clearly and uncontestably at fault. After 2 years of wrangling with the defendant, they finally made an offer of $25,000. This was the situation where I lost my ability to work for at least 2 years, and probably indefinitely. When the whole thing was settled I got $8,000. Unless you have a huge case that demonstrates that your life was destroyed and you can't walk anymore, don't bother with these guys. They will put your file at the bottom of their pile. read more

Here is the full truth of this company. I wrote a frustrating review a while back and at that time they offered to give me "some" of my money to change the review pretty much. So I did. Now about a week later after receiving my settlement I am fully disgusted in the way they did things. Of course when you go to someone who has just been injured, their new car totaled, and the attorney says the right things, you are going to agree with them. Who wouldn't?!!? The 30% fee doesn't seem much either when they tell you they will get what you deserve. Well in all reality, they ONLY get you what they want and supposedly can with the two parties insurance. BUUUUTTT that's not what my mom and I were told. Anyhow, I do remember them telling me they will NEVER take more than the client, you guys, they made that possible by only giving ME .99cents MORE THAN THEM!!! Are you for reals!!!! They knew I was newly into my car loan so I was still a few thousand dollars upside down. I am a single mom, to a child no less with a life threatening disease. They knew I lost the job I was going to get because of this, I had two surgeries and permanent damage, but they didn't care! They made sure to lower the doctors bills to benefit them!!! Had I not hired them and gone with my own insurance i would've have DOUBLED what I was entitled too!!! They made it seem like because they went down to 25.16% of the fee it was a great deal! No they only gave me .99 MORE!!! They even charged me 502.36 for in office costs and medical records! Than why in the hell did they need that percentage!!! This is truly disgusting and not right. I had to do a lot on my side so my family, a single mom, could stay afloat!!! You can't tell me the firm couldn't have given me a couple thousand more!!!! DON'T GO WITH THESE GUYS! On August 16, 2016, Art and his partner David were in a head on vehicular collision, causing severe orthopedic injuries to Art and killing David (aka "Skip") on impact. While exploring the Grand Canyon, a French National left his lane of travel and collided head on with Art and Skip's vehicle. The occupants of the other vehicle survived with few, if any injuries. However, the airbags ...in Art's vehicle failed to deploy, resulting in more severe injuries to Art and the untimely passing of his life long partner. The insurance company for the vehicle driven by the French National and the American automobile manufacturer of Art's vehicle both argued that nobody could recover for Skip's death because he had no viable heirs under the Utah or Arizona wrongful death statutes. In Art's hand in this photo (photo not included in this review) is the first court order in the State of Utah to posthumously recognize the common law marriage between two men, Art and Skip. We obtained this order several years ago, early in the legal battle. I told him at the time to wait to celebrate any victories until the verdicts or settlements came in. Yesterday, Art received the last of four sizeable (but confidential) settlement checks, including checks from the French National's insurance company, the American automobile manufacturer (which must also remain nameless here), and his own automobile insurance company. I am in the middle of a case at the moment so I have no feedback on how my settlement ended up, but after reading some comments I felt I should post something about my experience so far with S&J. My accident was the first week of December, so it's been 3 1/2 months. I have had a lot of chiropractor and PT care that has honestly been helpful, two MRi's and a surgical consult - all of which has been extremely beneficial and has helped me find exactly what happened to me directly from this accident. That is more than I can say for my doctor and the 2 ER hospitals, and urgent Care facility I went to after my accident. S&J had been involved the entire time. They give feedback and updated to my Drs I am being treated by all the time. If I call or email them, they always get right back to me. I am in Weber County so I have dealt with the Ogden office and they've been great. I've also called before and my actual attorney got on the phone and talked to me as well which I was surprised by to be honest. But it was really great and it was good to hear where his head was about my case. So I am sure that those who posted that they felt S&J didn't care or didn't return calls really did feel frustrated, but I don't feel that. I don't know if it's that I am dealing with the Ogden office which is different than the other posts, but I haven't had the same bad experiences they have had at all. I will say it is taking time, and I expect it will take a lot more time. But I need more care, and I have researched these sorry if cases and I know they take time. Am I frustrated that it's taking time? Yes. But I know this is a process, and I have been getting the care I needed. So I can say up to this point I am satisfied with how S&J have treated me. Be aware that even when the TV ad says "a lawyer will come to you", that may not be completely true. They tend to send one of their paralegals who don't normally work in the office and they promise you different things that the attorney you'll work with after the contract is signed will tell you. Almost 20 years ago I had my first car accident and Siefried and Jensen was great. However this second time around two years ago, the service was disappointing. They spoke condescendingly to my husband who has a Spanish accent. I didn't feel they fought for me as hard as they could have. I am in process of case after an auto accident, I was at a stand still and was rear ended. This was my first accident, and went to Siegfried and Jensen, I'm sure originally this law firm was very good, however now has grown to the extent of being like most large business of just not caring about clients. They seem to not want to work for me but just get things over with as fast as possible, and of course get their money. If you are looking for a lawyer, please do your research, you can find a much better lawyer that will actually fight to get a settlement you deserve. They recommended I take what the insurance called their final offer which would put $5,000 in my pocket. I missed 6wks of of work, was on restricted activity for that 6 weeks then 6 weeks after that. Multiple dr visits and chiropractic visits 3 times a week. Now of that 5k $3600 of that is lost wages, which leaves pretty much nothing for any pain and suffering. This driver that hit me had not had license since 2014, and admitted to being on his phone not paying attention while driving. Very frustrating, please do research prior to hiring a lawyer. This is a review that I had posted several weeks ago regarding S&G, this was written following several very frustrating conversations, however I would like to apologize to the people that this review effected that in no way played any part of my disappointment. I had written that I felt this large business had grown to the point of not caring for their clients, this has proven to be very untrue. I was injured by a distracted driver who t-boned my car after speeding through a red light. I received substantial injuries. I am so glad this law firm was recommended firm to me. I have never been involved in any legal cases before so I didn't know what to expect. Jeremy came to my home since I was housebound and patiently explained what the firm could do for me. Yesterday , February 26 ,2011 ,my mother was at McKay Dee Hospital, to have fluid drawn from her lungs. She was having difficulty breathing, and the hospital decided to put her on the 3rd floor ,across from the nurses station,to be closely monitored. The doctor at the time ,was going to allow her to eat,the first time in days ,because of all the testing she had undergone. It was around 3:30 pm ,when I ordered her mesl. It wasn't much ,but it was something to her. She loved the small flavored Italian shaved ice servings. I ordered her 2 of them with the meal. My mothers husband was suffering from Advanced Parkinson 's Disease and Dementia at the time, and I left him with mom, while I went downstairs, to the hospital cafeteria. I believe it was around 4:15 pm at that point. The cafeteria was very crowded ,due to break and shift change for the staff. By the time I got a bacon lettuce and tomato sandwich ordered for my stepfather, I knew that it would never be ready ,by the time mom got hers delivered. It was close to 5:15 pm by the time I got the sandwich. , I got back to the room on the 3rd floor to find that my mom , who I left,at the time ,was wearing a small oxygen mask , to now she was wearing a B PAP and her food was sitting on the tray it was cold, the shaved ice was melted,and I looked at the clock, it was 5:45pm. Shift change happened at 5:00 pm. The floor had 2 nurses , one for each side of the floor ,on that wing. I asked the nurse on the other side of my mother's room, where the nurse is for my mom's room. She did not know. She was not in any of the rooms on that side. I asked the other nurse to page her. I walked clear over to the other side of the hospital and found another nurses station. I asked 4 nurses laughing ,who was supposed to be helping my mom. One said it is me. I told her that the food was cold and the frozen ice was melted. The nurse said she would warm it up. I said get her another meal. Then my mom started acting strange. I asked the nurse about the bpap, and then I told her ,take the mask off. When the mask came off,my mom was paralyzed on her right side and her mouth was drooping. She's had a stroke..I said how long has she been like that? Nurse said I DON'T KNOW!!! I walked up to the vitals monitor and looked at the last 3 readings,that were read every 15 minutes , I saw blood pressure 70/40, 60/39/,45/35. The stoke occurred when the nurse came on shift and put the bpap on my mom, while I was downstairs . The Doctor was gone home for the day and they had to call him back,it took over an hour to get back and by the time he got upstairs,90 minutes went by,with this huge clot stuck on the side of my mom's brain. I believe that there is a short window of time to find our where and how bad and try to break it up before more damage can occur. Well, guess what? McKay Dee only had one catscan and a bunch of walkin's downstairs waiting to use it and they were behind . The hospital made my mom wait almost 4 and a half hours to get into the catscan. When they finally took her down after sitting there over 2 and a half hours with everything ready to go,I ran back to get something from the room. 2 orderly s were removing the tape from the back of the monitor and I told them I wanted a copy of that and they said it's for physicians use only. I ran back downstairs and when they were done, there was nothing that could be done. The clot was too hard because they ran all the walkin's through first. This was an emergency and they trade it like a stubbed toe. 2 days later after no signs of improvement,I talked to mom and she wanted to go home. The Dr, Kory Anderson,ok'd her to go home. Hospice set us up and the bed come to the house,I brought mom home and she died in our living room on March 1st 2011. It was the worst I've ever seen a hospital perform and I was then moved straight to being my mothers husbands caregiver full time ,due to his illness. I contacted several attys, with sigfried and jensen,the very last that I callled. They send someone to my home and I showed him everything that we had ,as for the records from McKay Dee. There was a bunch missing. Including the info from the monitor. The Representative told me after I showed him all the paperwork ,that I had several cases.i received a letter stating that sigfried and jensen, will not represent my mother. They waited until only a few days before the time table for filing a claim with the court. Sigfried and jensen told me that I better find someone else fast,before it's too late to file for the courts. I never found anyone else, and the hospital got away with killing my mom and sending her home for me to finish the job. I would not choose these guys , because they had a case for my mom and chose to decline. I really , desperately ,was hoping they would help,but they turned down any and all evidence,because it would take too long to rehash the events and payday would come too long down the road read more

I was not a fan of the idea of accident attorneys. Then, I was rear-ended by a driver who failed to brake, or stop for the sea of traffic on I-15. He hit me going about 50. I was at a standstill, along with everyone around me. It became apparent, after receiving medical attention, that this was going to be a long road to recovery, and I didn't have the experience, or time, needed to navigate all of it on my own.
