I've been to their events before so I knew it was one of those events that I wouldn't want to miss, especially since it was on a day that we had no other plans. We showed up around 6 PM on Wednesday, 11/26. We got to hang out and take pictures with Santa! We enjoyed a free live concert! My daughter was extremely happy with her free cotton candy! Who doesn't like being in a happy and festive environment? We were here during Christmas back in 2022 as well and their decorations were beautiful! If you're ever visiting Vegas during the holidays, you should definitely look up their Christmas tree lighting events :)

The access in and out of the plaza is very good, but not great. Kind of tight on the curves maneuvering up and down the parking aisles. From the street entrance with traffic signals, a left or right turn forces you into an almost immediate left or right turn again or else you drive over parking spaces. You have to be careful turning left and then left again as you are also dealing with vehicles exiting out of the JackintheBox drive thru at that point. Still, it's located directly off of a major street and offers some businesses I like, and it's not too far away for me so there is a convenience factor.

Also located here: 99 Cents Only store (it's hit or miss with this store), eight other fast food options/ restaurants like Panda Express, Samurai Sam's, Subway, Del Taco and Windy City Beef (hotdogs). Banks, a paint shop, and a variety of services are also located here. The parking lot is huge, and there are several points of entry from at least three directions of the shopping center. Next business on Lake Mead is a soccer field. And two other shopping centers are across from Summerlin Gateway Plaza. It's also across from a housing community. I used to work nearby at a real estate office, so I'm familiar with the area. Now that we live in Summerlin, we often shop in local shopping centers.

At checkout, I politely asked the cashier if all three could be sold at the $39 price since they appeared to be the exact same item. The cashier called over a manager for assistance. The manager explained that the price difference was due to tariffs and claimed that the $39 towel had been mislabeled because someone had removed the original price tag. I respectfully pointed out that the price tag was intact and showed no signs of being removed or replaced. The explanation I received did not seem reasonable, and I felt my concerns were dismissed rather than addressed. After leaving the store, we called the store and asked to speak with a manager. We spoke with a woman who asked for a description of the manager who had assisted us. I described her as a blonde woman who had been standing next to the cashier during our interaction. She said she would look into the matter and call us back, but we never received a return call. As someone who also works in management, I understand that pricing discrepancies can occur. At this point I don't even want the towels. My concern is not the $20 difference in price. Rather, I am disappointed with how the situation was handled and the lack of follow-up after I was told I would receive a call back. I am sharing this feedback because I believe management should be aware of this experience. My goal is not to receive the lower price, but to bring attention to the level of customer service I received so that future customers are treated with greater professionalism and respect.

Many of the pairs were under $50, which is good, considering that the pairs are running at $75 each, at regular price. It took a lot of will power not purchase any shoes. I looked at the Madewell rack, but wow, the solid basic short-sleeved t-shirts are now $18.97 each. Can this be tarriff-related? I needed a refresh for my tops, separates for work.
