So, lol I came here after a workout session to undo all of my hard work lol and it was indeed WORTH it! Her sweet treats are OH so goodT! I must say that I heard through the grapevine that everything was delicious (I have a friend that basically tried it all lol) but I only had the pleasure of enjoying the banana pudding AND strawberry cupcake all in one sitting and they both were perfection. So, I can only deduce the everything else would be equally as good, if not better. I also took the opportunity to learn a little about the owner and she is definitely walking in her passion, purposefully, one personalized cake and unique cake recipe at a time. I look forward to trying their tres leches the next time I am in the area.

MIND YOUR BUSINESS on how many it takes to earn a free one...... Anyhoo..... I love the desserts here and the owner is soooo nice! She does tres leches, cupcakes in a cup, cookies and cupcakes. And of course custom cakes. The French toast cupcake could convince me to disown my son... ok, maybe that's a bridge too far. I'll definitely consider locking him out of the house for a night- how bout that? The snickers cake in a cup is phenomenal, I also really love the lemon cupcake, the pistachio, the ore, the....um you get point! My son's birthday isn't until September, mine is in December- I'm SCHEMING for a good enough excuse to order a whole cake... I won't just get one for me cause THAT'S just greedy. I ordered an iced Honey Oatmilk Latte and it was very well balanced. Beyond the coffee, though, I was pleasantly surprised by the breadth of the food menu. There were some classics like muffins and bagels, but there were also some unique options. The spiral pies, pizza stick, and pastry options struck my interest. I went with the spiral pie with feta and it was warm, comforting, and delicious. Reminded me of being in Greece! Next time I might go with another flavor because I thought it was a bit dry at times, but totally worth it! Something to note about BeansUp is that there is very little seating available. There is one table inside and one outside. I'd recommend just picking up your order, honestly. My friend and I grabbed our coffee/food and then walked around a nearby store. Also, you order on a tablet which was cool. An employee hands you your items but otherwise it's pretty low-interaction. I think that's kind of nice, especially if you're just trying to grab and go. The employee we spoke to was very sweet when handing us our orders, though! I'll definitely be stopping by again! This place is locally and women-owned which is awesome! Check them out!

Very nice and helpful staff. Mind that they sell well on weekends and you may come to a sold out stand if you're late. The shop is stylish and modern, which adds up to a nice experience on site. She said this is the first US location and the other locations are in either Pakistan or Kazakhstan. She wasn't sure. We got a caramel macchiato, chocolate cake bite and a piece of whoopie pie cake. The coffee was sweeter than expected but enjoyable. The cake bite was really rich so the perfect size. The whoopie pie cake was just ok. It didn't bring whoopie pie vibes. The cake was moist but it wasn't a true chocolate like in typical whoopie pies. It was more like a devils food cake. The filling was custardy vs the vanilla sweet filling I'm accustomed to. Overall, it wasn't bad just not what I was expecting. I'm a whoopie pie fan so that was disappointing. We will come back to try a different type of cake next time. I do find the price of the cake pieces to be steep at $10-11 per piece.

The variety is impressive, from savory breads to delicate desserts, and everything tastes fresh rather than overly sweet or heavy. I also appreciate how efficiently they package everything, especially when ordering multiple items. I haven't redeemed any rewards in several months because I've been overseas, so I wasn't sure whether I simply scanned the code or if there was another step involved. Instead of explaining the process, he repeatedly pointed at the screen and said, it's right here. When I asked for clarification, he continued to respond the same way without actually explaining what I needed to do. His tone and mannerisms made me feel as though I was being treated like an inconvenience for asking a simple question. Not every customer is familiar with the app, and some may be using rewards for the first time. A little patience and clearer communication would have gone a long way. The experience was made more frustrating by the long wait beforehand. There were only two cashiers working and the customer ahead of me spent several minutes at the register asking questions. Another cashier was also helping a customer who needed additional assistance. While I understand that questions happen and employees do their best, waiting a considerable amount of time only to receive dismissive customer service was disappointing. Good customer service isn't just about completing a transaction--it's about helping customers understand the process and making them feel welcome. Unfortunately, that was not my experience during this visit.
