I've since brought both of my cars to Advanced for routine maintenance. Each time, for each car, a routine diagnostic review of the car was performed, and any irregularities were noted. This emulates, exceeds dealership customer service and definitely "raises the bar". Both Kambria and Kutter, have and continue to make me feel like I am their only client. Always engaging, patient, avid listeners, knowledgeable and when it comes to diagnosing a concern, their collective perspective is like "a homing device on a torpedo". Their team's work acumen and ethics are "a cut above" in the automotive industry; the focus; pleasing the customer. And, their pricing is beyond competitive. When I took my 2014 Charger SXT to Advanced for the first routine service, they noted that the upper control arms and ball joints needed to be replaced, suggested a brake system flush, wheel alignment and rear shocks. When I purchased the car in 2018 (pre-owned), I also purchased a Chrysler "Max Care" lifetime warranty. I called Glenn Thomas Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Long Beach who regularly serviced the car and asked if the control arm, ball joint repair was covered by the warranty and was assured it was. I thanked Kambria for the alert, advised her I would be taking the car to Fresno for the repair, the cost of which almost paid for the warranty. When I brought the car to the Fresno dealership, the service writer offered to beat the cost that Kambria quoted for the brake flush and alignment. I thanked him and advised him that I had already agreed to have the two repairs done at Advanced. When I called Kambria from the dealership and shared the offer, she said she would "completely understand if I had the dealership do the alignment and brake flush since the car was there". In today's "fast and loose" business community, who does that? My response to Kambria; an agreement is an agreement. I brought the car to Advanced for the two repairs. Kambria and Kutter consistently make me feel like I am their only customer. How many members of that club are still around? If you are looking for an extraordinary customer service experience, make Advanced Automotive Repair your first stop. You'll be glad you did!

2004 GMC Sierra 2500 Truck overheated while in Coarsegold…read more Went to Coarsegold Car Car/Automotive. They changed thermostat. That was on Saturday. Said it was now the water pump. Installed water pump Monday. Still didn't fix it. Now it's Thursday and they still haven't fixed it and don't know what's wrong. Having it towed to my trusted mechanic in Oakhurst like I should have done initially rather than thinking they could handle something simple. They evidently don't diagnose problems and just change parts. Very disappointed in the service here. Never be back again. $700 bill (they do charge mechanics rates even though they're not really mechanics) and nothing for it. No diagnoses. Just wanting to do more guessing. Stay away. You've been warned.

My car won't start on the driveway at my Coaraegold house. It's a really odd problem - starter…read morepasses all bench test, voltage goes to the starter just fine, the starter engages but just won't turn. I towed it down to Reggie's place and they spent all day diagnosing the problem. Literally, ALL DAY. At 3:30pm I went down there, and they finally found that the wire between the relay and the starter was loose and wasn't providing enough juice to the starter. While we were at it I asked them to figure out why the car shakes badly at 65mph and above. Reggie asked them to put it in third and rev the rear wheels while he watches. Took him a minute to find the passenger rear tire has a flat spot. He gave me a quote on the tire and charged me a pretty reasonable fee for the whole day of work. I went there on recommendation from a gentleman at Oakhurst Auto Zone. I can safely say based on my extensive experience with cars and mechanics these guys are good, honest people. Travelers to Yosemite only need mechanics service in the most unfortunate situations, these guys can provide crucial help to them. I highly recommended them.
