A friend recommended this place to me. Something like this has never even crossed my mind to try but I do suffer from bloating regularly so I thought why not? I was beyond nervous going in not having any clue as to what to expect? I was taken care of by Gisel. She was so knowledgeable and talked me through the entire process step by step. We spoke a lot about my diet. The procedure is certainly an odd one but I left feeling healthier and lighter. The entire process is about 45 mins. It can be slightly uncomfortable but the benefits seem to definitely be worth it. It's holistic and I feel like it removed years of built up toxins and bacteria in my body. **UPDATE** They STILL have refused to refund me for the sessions I have already paid for. The attached text messages from the owner show that she intended to only refund me on 4/20/2021. It's now 5/7/2021, and still nothing. Thief, liar, disgusting professionalism. PLEASE avoid this business like the plague!! **UPDATE** After the owner has refused to refund my prepaid package after only receiving 1 of the 6 treatments, I need to write this review for the sheer lack of professionalism and common courtesy I received from Sheri. My first appt was with Carrie on Sunday, March 21, 2021. This is the day I went and agreed to do a 6 appt package for $510 ($85 per appt) with the understanding that the appt I was currently at was the first of the 6 appts and still needed to book the remaining 5 appts. Carrie is only available on Sundays and advised that I contact Sheri or use the online appt booking, and to do it as soon as possible since the recommendation is once a week for the series. Carrie was outstanding, I have all great things to say about her, her professionalism and her knowledge of the body and processes. I got into the online appt booking and scheduled the next available opening on Wednesday March 31, 2021 (1.5 weeks later), and then the next appt on Monday, April 5, 2021 to make sure I could get these appts scheduled within the recommended timeframe. Every appt I made through the online booking was shifted because the online booking doesn't follow the same appt rules as they do (needing 1hr 15mins instead of an hour). Sheri would text me saying that the time I booked wouldn't work and would need to move me. Each time this occurred, I was obliged with the new time schedule but thought it was strange that the online booking wasn't setup to match the actual appt time slot they need. The day before my second appt, the online booking texts me at 8:30am on 3/30/21 to confirm my 3/31 appt, to which I responded as 'confirmed'. At 7:18pm on 3/30/21, Sheri texts me to tell me she suffered a back injury and needs to cancel my appt for the following day and then said she would reach out to me the following day to give me date/time options. I replied to her letting her know that my schedule is flexible and hope the injury isn't too bad. Keep in mind... she has a 'Late Cancellation (within 24 hours before appt)/No Show Fee' of $35 posted on her website. Sheri reached out to me on Thursday, April 1, 2021 (not exactly the next day, but whatever), however, this was to cancel my upcoming appt I had scheduled for Monday, April 5, 2021. So, not only was I not given new date/time options for the first appt cancelled the night before the appt, but my next appt was now being cancelled. At this point, still being a 'new client' only having been seen once by Carrie, who only works on Sundays, I decide this is not a provider I want to proceed with this type of service as I feel that not only the need to actually receive this type of service isn't valued, my time is unimportant. It is not easy to make the time within the recommended time frame for me, but I wasn't doing this for "pampering", this is an attempt to avert escalating to a gastrointestinal specialist. Not to mention that it takes approximately 30-45 minutes to drive to Sierra Colon Hydrotherapy from where I live. Not that any of this should really matter, however, since I was pretty much feeling like I didn't matter to Sheri, I responded to her text on 4/1/2021 by saying that this isn't working out as I hoped it would and now that 2 of the 3 appts I've scheduled have been cancelled, I respectfully request a refund from the package I prepaid on 3/21/2021. Any normal person would likely be OK with this given that I am a 'new client' and I hadn't cancelled or rescheduled any of my appts - every appt I had was either moved or cancelled. Sheri proceeded to tell me that she's has performed over 14,000 colonics and has always prioritized her clients. Then says she only issues refunds on the 20th of each month. I responded in shock that this is the first I've heard of such a policy, which is ridiculous considering I'm not the one cancelling all the time, she is. I ended up filing a claim with my bank that day. I had 1 appt, paid $510, the bank refunded $90. What a crook. Text msg will be added shortly. read more

Sheri is the best! I have had colonics at a few places and knew what to expect, and Sheri is a step above. I started seeing her to help detoxing at a medical clinic. Then she helped me with some severe constipation, where western medicine fell short. She has been overly flexible at fitting me in around health issues when she really didn't have to. She has lovely energy and definitely has superior knowledge in the area of colonics. What a wonderful experience! I met Sheri while traveling out of state for work. I had the pleasure of receiving a session from her just before flying back home. Let me tell you...I've been getting colonics for years. Unfortunately there have been a lot of strange therapists and I've had a lot of "wow! I'll never go back there again" moments. Ha ha! Not this time Sheri has a beautiful office. It's clean, organized, well kept, and inviting. Her patient demeanor and gentle approach to colon cleansing made me wish she lived in California again. Sheri greeted me with a hug at my first appointment yesterday and everything went very smoothly, and I do mean " smoothly " from then on. Sheri is perfect for this " delicate " kind of work; she is very kind, gentle, funny, easygoing but very professional and discreet all at the same time. Sheri explained everything and I was comfortable right away. She is extremely good at what she does and I was never in pain from the water pressure nor the gentle messages she applied on my stomach. As the other reviewers have mentioned, a desire to improve my overall heath and years with constipation issues led me to Sheri. I feel so fortunate to have found her because no matter how you shake it- it's (initially) an awkward process!! Sheri is a calm, kind and relaxing presence and really put me at ease for my first colon hydrotherapy experience ... I could totally see how if you went to someone that you didn't really get along with and really like this process could be really unpleasant and you wouldn't want to go back. As for the process itself, i have now had 6 sessions over 2 weeks and i'm feeling better, sleeping better, my skin looks better, my energy is better, and i'm pooping better! Sherri is AMAZING! When I lived in LA I would get colonics frequently with the same person, but since moving to Tahoe it's been hard to find someone to trust with such a personal treatment.
