Very stressful nail appointment. They took a chuck out if my nail when taking dip off with drill. I have thin nails. Then the workers were fighting about it. I've been getting my nails done for a long time and never had such a bad experience. read more

The photos speak for themselves. I went here with my Aunt, and Sylvia did a great job with her nails. However, my service was done by the owner and I was actually stunned speechless by how bad it was. From the very beginning, she didn't ask what length/shape I wanted my nails and just started cutting them short while my head was turned. She did not shape them with a file or even them out (can you see how laughable my second toe is on my right foot? lol.) While polishing my nails, she did not wait at all inbetween base coat/polish/top coat. She was clearly in a rush, as she immediately got up and left for an appointment as soon as the last nail had top coat, and didn't ask me if I was happy with how they looked. She didn't even clean the extra polish off my skin, let alone my cuticles. Initially I was only unhappy with the shape, but once I leaned over and looked closely at how sloppy the entire job was, I couldn't believe my eyes. I thought about asking for a redo but as I said, she literally left immediately before I could really inspect my nails. While I waited for my aunt to have her manicure, I removed my polish and redid my own polish. Sylvia offered to remove and redo my nails but I was already halfway done and eager to get out of there as it had already been an hour and a half at that point. Funnily enough, by the time she finished and came to help me at all, I only had topcoat to apply on one nail so she did it for me--and that nail is the only one with uneven topcoat lol you can see streaks where she missed a spot. :( I can't say the owner was rude but I feel disrespected by her carelessness. The only aspect of my service I enjoyed was the massage on my legs. The salon is seriously in need of a deep clean. The massage chair remotes were gross and I don't feel confident they sanitize the metal tools inbetween services. The polishes were unorganized and grimy. Disappointing, I was hoping to find somewhere to come routinely when I visit Siesta Key. read more

I went here today with my sister to have our nails and toes done. When we went in there was only one lady working and she was already working on a pedicure so she had us come back in 15 minutes. We were there for a few hours due to the fact that they only had one lady working but it was understandable due to lack of business with the red tide at the beach. I have been here a few times and no problems. But, last Friday 3/15 I brought my husband for his first pedicure. His tech was great, but mine was horrible. He was about 45-50 years old and wore glasses. He didn't give his name. Right off he scrapped the side f my big toe and it was painful enough for me to pull my foot back. He said "it's ok, no blood". His massage was soso. But, here is why I am writing. After drying he walked by and I told him I was finished and could he help me put my sandles on. I had a cash tip of 25% and he took that and said " No. I'M working." had broken a bone in my hand and I was in a brace and had difficulty putting shoes on. The girl next to me commented how rude he was and she would help me get my shoes on: This man needs more customer service skills. There are many many other places to go within 3 miles. Wish I knew his name so I could advise everyone NOT to go to him! read more

Worst pedicure ever. Their soak basins wouldn't drain so they left my feet soaking in cold dirty water. They didn't do any sort of cuticle removal or callous removal, which looking back I'm glad, I can only imagine the kind of fungus/infection I could have got. read more

I have no personal qualms with this salon. My manicure was one of the best I've had in a long time. The woman who did my nails filed them to a perfect shape, which has lasted. I can't seem to get people to do that back home, ever. Pedi was great and has lasted 2 weeks so far and still looking good. 4 stars b/c I can see how it would get frustrating waiting to be seen and they are more busy than they have employees to cater to. I think my mom and I got lucky being the only walk-ins at that specific time bc while we were getting our nails done 1 appointment showed up and 2 other walk-ins showed up and the walk-ins were given a half hour wait. To be fair, the 2 walk-in gals said they would come back, they did, and then they were seen as soon as they came back even though other ppl had also walked-in requesting mani/pedis before they came back. Point is, I think that they do try to see clients on a fair schedule, they just need more employees. And it was a tiny bit more expensive than I expected. More northeast prices than siesta key prices. read more

I came around 1pm yesterday (Friday) for a polish change. My tech was super nice, she's the owner - Tee. She said things usually get pretty busy around 3pm and later (when people are leaving the beach), so they tend to get a huge rush of people. There was no one in there while I was there. She told me she felt bad that the day prior she had to turn some away because they were so busy. Give this place a break! My nails look perfect still (it's only been one day, but usually I have a chip by now). Tee was super sweet and accommodating even though I had sand on my legs. Next day tried a manicure. Left and had to refile jagged edges and by noon the next day polish peeled off. I had done NO dishes nor swimming. Based on the past reviews, I called in advance to see if they were busy, and we decided to make an appointment for a few hours later (instead of dropping in like we'd planned). When we arrived, a few other customers were just leaving, so we had the place to ourselves. I gave 5 stars because the price is right on the money and more than fair. My polish is still on my toes 2 weeks later and my daughter is still rockin the cute little flowers and Palm trees painted on her toes and fingers. The service was excellent. The nail tech was professional, sweet and patient with my 6 year old little girl... Even after she bumped her nails just seconds later.... She fixed them right away no problem. The spa is super clean and I forgot to get the name of the girl giving the pedicures, but she was so frienldy and nice. It was one of the best pedicures I have ever had. My husband loved his.
