Walked in at 10:45 to a completely empty salon. I needed to have acrylic nail repair because I had damaged my nails. They literally had me going from one chair to another, as if though they didn't know what to do. As if they have never seen a set of broken acrylic nails. When I finally was seated, she prepared to soak off the gel polish on my toes. The woman who started to file down my acrylics started bossing me around telling me oh no, you do not move your hand. Just extremely mean for absolutely no reason. Does not have a spa atmosphere whatsoever. They have no kindness and no courtesy. Very unprofessional. read more

I walked in for a gel pedicure, and a dip set. The tech told me that she didn't do dip, and only did acrylic which was fine. Then she told me before we get started I might want to know the price, kinda like I couldn't afford it... She wanted to charge $75 for a short acrylic set which is outrageous. The decor is outdated, the condescending tone was absolutely unnecessary. She even continued to wave and say really unnecessary things as I walked out. Went to this place only because I couldn't get an appt with my usual place and I wanted to try somewhere closer to home. Big mistake. Staff were friendly, I told them I wanted a regular pedicure and black glitter powder dip nails which I've been getting for 3 years. Sat in the pedicure chair for over half an hour before anyone started on me. They finished my pedicure then I sat another half hour waiting to get my nails done. They had limited dip powder colors available so I chose a black and asked if they would add glitter to them and showed her a picture. When they finally started on my nails, not only did she cut them way too short, I knew the process wasn't correct as I've been doing the powder dip for 3 years so I kept verifying with her she was using the correct products. 'Oh yea, oh yea' was her response. I was getting more and more upset because she was using the gel UV light to cure my nails which you don't need with the dip powder. Then I had to ask again for the glitter and she acted like she didn't know what I was talking about. I was so beyond ready to leave but suffered through the rest of this. I told her they were fine and I left. My nails looked like a 7 year old did them and they were horrendous. I immediately went to my regular place and had them redone. Don't go here unless you want extremely basic nails. I was so upset she charged me for these awful nails but I didn't want to make a scene. I recently moved from another area of town and a bit too far away from my usual manicure/pedicure spot that I love. I came across Nail Spa 2Q somewhat by chance as I was driving around closer to my new home and decided to give it a try. They are hidden away a little bit in a strip set slightly back from Fruitville, in front of Sam's Club and next to Dunkin' Donuts and Jersey Mike's. I called early afternoon on a Friday to see if they could fit me in almost immediately, not being very hopeful that it was likely to happen, but they did. The lady who answered the phone was charming, polite and helpful. The salon itself is lovely and clean, I was greeted immediately, and my impression from the get go was positive. In addition to the ubiquitous OPI nail colors, they also had some Essie ones which is great. A very sweet lady did a beautiful job on what were little troll's feet (moving and three months without a pedicure). She didn't rush things in spite of it being the aforementioned Friday afternoon on short notice, and was friendly & polite. They accept credit cards but prefer cash or check. Being my first visit I didn't know that and they took my card very graciously. Very happy with the entire experience and will definitely be going back there. So happy to have found somewhere I like in my new neighborhood read more

Great customer service, but they didn't push back my cuticles or cut my cuticles. The thumbnails and pretty much all of the nails aren't shaped up correctly. After a week they're terribly grown out and don't look the best. I've experienced better with otherNail salons, so I wouldn't waste your money on getting a set of acrylics from nail spa 2Q. read more

Had a pedicure at this salon recently. Very clean inside, doors open front to back for great air flow. Covid protocols intact, I felt safe. The most gentle foot massage I have ever had! I wish it could have lasted longer. Nice people I will return. read more

I've been coming for over the past year monthly for a pedicure. The last few have been from a gentleman who I think does a fabulous job! I have had some issues with my feet & nails which Coco had been great about working with. I usually come on a weekday after work so it's easy to walk in, but on a Saturday I will call ahead for a time. I always have a nice relaxing time! read more

I walked in this nail salon today without an appointment, someone at my apartment complex recommended them. I am very happy with their services. I had about a 10 minute wait, which was not a problem. CoCo did an awesome job on my nails, taking time with me, and my hands and nails look so much better. Then I sat in the massage chair (ahhhhhh....) for my pedicure, and again Coco gave my feet and toes plenty of good attention. My feet feel amazing, and my toes look beautiful. I have been here 3 times, I always get gel nails. The first time I had a man do my nails and he was great. The second I tried the new seaweed gel they offer, I asked if it lasted as well as the regular gel and she said yes. My nails did not look good, she did not get the gel close enough to the cuticle so they looked grown out and didn't shine like they normally do. Within 1 day the edges of most my nails had chipped. I called the salon and let them know I was not happy - I was told to come back and the same lady would redo them. I requested the man I had previously and I was informed for a redo I had to have the same lady which I was not happy about but I had a wedding to go to so I wanted them fixed. When I arrived to have them redone another lady (who I think is the manager) did my nails she was very nice and accommodating but she did my nails with the same seaweed gel insisting it wasnt the gel... I got on a flight to Boston for the wedding and within HOURS they had chipped again! I expect my gel manicures to last at least 10 days, I have never had this problem anywhere else. Now I either have to pay for a second manicure or go to the wedding with obviously chipped nails. read more

When I ask for easy to remove nail polish and I am told over and over that I will get easy to remove nail polish I do NOT want to spend 2 hours removing the polish in ONE hand. Thank goodness I asked for easy to remove... Would I spend 6 hours on hard to remove? read more

After going to another establishment for almost 17 years, I decided to try this one. Due to a problem toe nail I am very skeptical about changing locations. I explained my concerns and they did a wonderful "pain free" job which made me jump for joy. They are all very friendly and accommodating regarding last minute appointments. The owners have a gift in remembering everyone's name and make you feel welcome the minute you step in. It's a clean, quite relaxing experience and I highly recommend them. read more

Never ever go to this nail salon!! I called to book an appointment for a gel set removal and new full set and was briskly told that I needed to come now to soak off the old set. When I arrived the owner was rude and never looked at my nails just stuck them in a bowl of acetone. After soaking them for 20 mins she finally came to look at them and proceeded to rudely ask me what type of nails I had on and I told her they were gel. She claimed I never told her and said that I should know that you can't soak them off?? I reminded her nicely that I told her on the phone that they were gel and she said I should have reminded her again. No, you should have at least looked at my nails before you started anything!! Then she proceeded to file the top layer off while huffing under breath. After completing that task she took a clippers and ripped off the old nail tips that I had on. To say RIPPED is not an exaggeration!!! She pealed back part of my nails and then claimed that I had a fungus that caused it!! Two of my nails bled while she stuck my hands back in acetone!! It was brutal!! I told her that I had went to my nail lady 3 weeks before and she said everything looked good but the owner claimed that the mysterious fungus had been there for 6+ months!! Haha!! She said my nail lady probably didn't see it?? Really?? And it wasn't just that you damaged my nails and didn't want to admit it?? In the end I just left them undone and paid and walked out!! This place is beautifully decorated, and the staff is so friendly! They remember you by name. Best pedicure I've had in a long time! Plus, they use the same sterilizers we use at our dental office so their instruments are clean. HIGHLY recommend it! read more

I have been going to NailSpa 2Q since it opened - about 8 years. The prices are competitive with other asian salons. This is a woman owned salon. It is beautiful and very clean. I have never had a bad experience. In many asian nail salons, the techs come and go because they do not really like their work, because it is the only job they are qualified for. Nail Spa 2Q has a low rate of turnover and the owner seeks to help the techs improve their skills. If you are very picky, ask for the owner to do your nails. She is the BEST! read more

Had an appointment yesterday at Nail Spa 2Q for the first time in quite a few years. Had a pedicure with gel polish, removal of SNS dip powder and acrylic full set with gel polish. All of my NORMAL services that I usually get at other salons with the exception of the powder removal and acrylic full set. I normally always keep acrylic on, but was talked into the dip powder by another salon and I hated it! My visit started off aggravating when the owner, CoCo, seem perturbed/annoyed that I didn't tell her on the phone that I have gel polish on my toes because it takes an extra "15 minutes" to remove and reapply Really don't know what this mattered since it is her JOB and was 5:30 PM and the salon did not close until 7 PM. I was charged $87 for my services and left a $14 tip. I left the salon very please with the result, but wait the best is yet to come. When I made my appointment yesterday, I called the salon from my place of business. Today the owner, CoCo, called by place of business, by pulling me up in her caller ID, to tell me that she did not charge me for my pedicure yesterday and I can only assume she was looking for more money, but I did not let her get that out. She was not so nicely told that it is not my problem that she didn't charge me for the appropriate services and if she thought she was getting more money out of me she was outside her mind. I didn't think anything of it at the time sine I usually pay $85 for my nails & toes elsewhere. I will be closely watching my credit card account to make sure there isn't any unauthorized activity and will definitely NOT be returning to his establishment. read more
