We have tried a few different hvac companies in the area but never thought the system was fully serviced according to my research of what a full service should consist of. Brain came over today and did a full service. He provided me with a check list that goes above and beyond my research of what a full service should be. My system is running well and I'm 100% satisfied with the service. I hope Brain will be the technician that always comes out to service our hvac system. Called them to diag my HVAC issue of not shutting off. Found that exchanger needed to be replaced. Of course it was a push to replace entire system which wasnt needed at all. After 2 weeks of waiting for exchanger to come in. Techs had an issue and started disassembling t-stats. Found heating coils werent shutting off, so their solution was to disconnect and they would come back in the fall and reconnect. Told them no fix=no check so they went back to work. Sporadically system would act up and not come on so called for second visit. Said T-stats were wired wrong and wanted $100 to fix. Called owner and told him his guys played with t-stats on first visits and stats were fine before they rewired them. This guy had the balls to tell me he didnt charge me the first time for the tstats and was upset because he had to price match $200 less. So he ended up screwing me out of $100 and tells me if I didnt like it to find another company because he would service my home.... So of course I had a problem this spring and the real HVAC company showed me burnt wires on the contactor that were corroded for quite sometime which was the whole problem all along....NOT THE EXCHANGER!!!! My attick floor was covered with refridgerant oil and debris was all where SigCox trashed the area around the unit. Great attitude after getting almost $4500 for a job that didnt need to get done.....STAY AWAY FROM THIS CROOKED FUCK!!!! read more

I had this company recommended to us w hen we moved to Augusta 44 years ago. They have been steadfast in offering good service, and quick response to emergencies. As in all companies, they occasionally have had a few "duds" for service techs, but overall I have been more than satisfied with the service. Our downstairs AC unit went out and Doug was quick to help us out. We couldn't get scheduled to put the new unit in for a little over a week so he brought by some window units to keep us comfortable until then. He communicated the whole process very well, kept us up to date on when we could get scheduled, etc. Today Jamal and Cory came by to install the new unit, and they were both fabulous. They're both very professional, and friendly and we felt completely comfortable having them in the house and around our kids and trust that they did a great job with the installation. My kids even loved them and they never acted like my energetic son was a problem or in the way. They did a great job cleaning up afterwards, and even fixed the small drainage issue we're having with the other unit so hopefully we won't have to vacuum it out every day like we've been doing. We need to get the other unit replaced next year and are definitely going to be using Sig Cox again! I can not say enough kind things about all 3 of these guys, I HIGHLY recommend them. Keep searching do not use this company! I should have read through the Yelp reviews first. Businesses now have companies that can clean sweep the reviews on their company website. Today I contacted Sig Cox Augusta Heating and Air Company. We had a new heat and air unit installed this summer and it was blowing out cold air. We did not call the installers because the insurance company purchased the unit and handled the initial install through contractors. I called the dispatcher, I believe his name was Doug and they scheduled a technician to come out. I am patient especially when a tech can come out same day. I was told that the diagnostic was 129.00. The tech only had to pretty much switch a wire and he added an additional 99.00 dollars for 1 hour of labor. He did not even stay for 30 minutes. It took him longer to write the ticket than it did to solve my heating issue. This was not the fee that I expected to pay. We will never use this company again. I suggest that you try another company. My husband is angry and truly feel cheated and so do I! When I spoke with "Doug" the dispatcher to address my concern about the cost, he pretty much defended why it was okay and was not a professional and that I should have called the company that actually installed my new unit instead of them. Sig Cox comes off as just another money grubbing company. I called about thermostat pricing and size. I want to know the size because my current Tstat is nestled between door trim and it is 4 3/4in. The woman give me a price but refused to let me know the size of the thermostats. She kept insisting I have them take a look at if for $89(not included in the tstat and install price). Why when you can just tell me over the phone. So it makes more sense to have someone come to my home only to tell me they can't install it because the space is too small then hold there hand out for money. No thanks. Busby's heating and air 706 722 8855 had no problem telling me the size of their Tstats. So you might want to skip sig cox and go with Busbys or someone else. read more
