Even though I viewed some tutorials on YouTube, I felt it to be appropriate to have a professional conduct both the installation of the wall mount and the hanging of the TV. I conducted a Google search and found South Charlotte Services with stellar reviews and photos of customer's end results. In viewing their website, I was very much impressed with their attention to detail and all of the services they offer. My scenario was pretty straight-forward: dry-wall with studs and an electrical outlet already high from the finished floor. But, they do offer other services for more complex scenarios. I also suggest calling them before you purchase your wall mount. I purchased one with my TV however they have others they prefer in stock relative to all types of installs and TVs and may be more affordable than others purchased online or at a retailer such as Best Buy or Walmart. After filling out their online form for a quote, I was furnished a proposal by end of business via text and email (NOTE: make sure you try and view it asap so the link doesn't expire). I was called and a time was set. They are pretty flexible but mornings are usually better so try and make yourself available. Their installer, John, showed up on time with all tools necessary (as well as a construction blanket for floor protection). He takes the handling of your TV device with caution and advises you throughout the process to make sure the TV is mounted to your liking and viewing preferences. Be advised to also have an area to lay your TV so he can install the back bracket. Before drilling, he performed a check of the surrounding walls to make sure he would be drilling into the correct spots (some DIY people or other installers may not bother to do this and it's possible it could compromise electric or gas lines; very important this is not ignored). Moreover, he keeps the area very clean by utilizing a shop vac throughout install. John was friendly, efficient, and effective. I highly recommend their services. The job took ~1hr to complete.

I got a recommendation from a friend to try Ryan Hanlon and he was awesome. My mom called him at 2pm and he was at her house by 6pm the same day! Turns out an outside outlet had flipped the breaker on half of the inside outlets because the original electricians had wired it wrong. He fixed their mistakes and only charged my mom $100. Priced medianly between the other electricians I called and met with (Roby Electric being the most expensive), Ryan quoted fair prices and offered to provide all the materials at cost OR send me a shopping list that I could take to Home Depot/Lowes. Being a DIY girl as much as possible, I took the list and made my merry way over to Home Depot on Wendover, where Ira the Electrician Guy told me that "this guy knew what he was doing" once he saw the complete list Ryan had emailed me. Arriving not a second past 9:30, Ryan took time to go over all the projects I wanted done in the home overall, and then started work on installing 4 outdoor outlets for my home. Along the way, there were some issues with my older home and the set up of the wiring, but he took the time to not only communicate what he was doing but also to educate me more on my home and the wiring of it (who knew I had a fuse box that was a fire hazard? go me!). Anyway, 6 hours later I had everything I'd requested and a few more things done by Ryan and I was already making plans for him to put in recessed kitchen lighting and change out a fan and chandelier. I can't say enough how impressed I was with him - I'm telling everyone I know! I received great service from ARC Electric and would recommend to anyone looking for an electrician. They showed up promptly around 8am as it was an all-day job. Crew was great (1 project manager and 2 technicians). They all had a clean appearance and professional. Cleaned up all messes from the new light/fan additions and made sure I was aware of any enhancements / minimal changes that had to be done with work order. The wall punch outs for electrical access were minimal and put back in place were I can easily patch walls and repaint. Would definitely use their services again for any future electrical needs.
