Just switched to a different provider. The doctors here were great but the guy at the front desk was impossible to deal with.

Dr. Kevin is fantastic! My son and I had our appointments same day and our first time In the office. Dr. Kevin answered all my questions and some concerns that I had for my self . He explains everything in such detail for you to understand and not get lost in medical terminology. I was a bit nervous about getting my eyes dilated due to in the past I would get a massive migraine afterwards and let him know that as well. With that being said he use a far less percentage and made sure through out the whole appointment if I was okay and I was! No migraine at all. My son was also nervous about getting drops in his eyes due to him not ever having drops in his eyes before and again Dr. Kevin talked to him and made him laugh and my son says "that wasn't bad at all!" In October of 2019, I had an appointment with Dr. Kevin Dixon. While the appointment went well and Dr. Dixon spent a good amount of time with me, trying to get the right prescription for my contacts, the billing/insurance claim process was less than satisfactory. The claim process dragged on until April 2020, as the claim to my insurance company was denied several times. I ended up paying for the entire eye exam out of pocket even though I have insurance. Once I found out that they had submitted the claim to the insurance company with the wrong treatment codes and the claim could not be resubmitted, I wrote Dr. Dixon a letter asking him to reimburse me in the amount that would have been covered by insurance since it was not my fault that the claim filed contained the wrong codes. Neither was I reimbursed, nor did I even get the mere courtesy of a response! read more

It is unfortunate that the final conclusion to this establishment for myself is unsatisfactory when there were some positive things from my experience. As a small business owner (the business consultant more specifically business analyst) I understand the value of customer feedback. This was my second visit in a span of several years. First was for a scratch in my eye and I was seen by the Husband of the wife and husband practice . The experience was pleasant no issues. Fast forward to my recent last minute appointment with Dr. Cristina Dixon I believe is her name. Reading other reviews prior to going which I typically do would had made me either specifically request the husband or go to another location. This is because of my preference of professionalism. It is up to you as a consumer to place in perspective what is more important to you in you and your family needs. The front desk staff greeted me signed me in fine. No extra conversation or overly introduction and for myself that is perfectly ok especially when I am in a discomfort stage as I were . It was a medical visit. The wait time was appropriate and the establishment is very well staged and clean as well as comfortable. The young lady who did the intake was friendly and professional. When Dr Dixon came in I complimented her on her hair color and could tell within our first few interactions she had a very open and somewhat brass if you may personality. Now this might not be some people cup of tea but it didn't bother me .. I normally can adapt with my settings. Some of her remarks I just laughed it off because I didn't know for one this was a behavior of normalcy. I thought maybe she is "off" today or maybe trying to be more personal . I honestly didn't know but I also was in a discomfort with my eyes. What turned for a pause for me is when in the conversation of discussion about insurance and self pay and work she ask what I did as a living - I replied business consultant and she laughed -I immediately felt embarrassed for her -to see an outburst like that from a professional who has went to post grad education such as myself allow herself in front of a patient to perceive her as crude is unfortunate. She then responded that that was a good job. At that stage I started to dismiss what she was saying and became less interactive. The appointment went on with I believe in her attempt to help me out in finding the cheapest medicine since I was self pay. This is ok and I am ok with saving a few dollars however it would had been better if the question was ask to me -I ended up asking her what is the price range and that my concern was getting better not necessarily the lowest price. One thing to want to help another to assume . She gave me free sample at the end of my appt and I schedule a follow up . Here's the thing about doctors appointments- once you feel better you are able to think about and process the events that at the time your senses and discomfort blocks for you. After this visit I was disappointed because this place is the closest to my residence and due to this uncomfortable visit It will not be a place I utilized. Later thought made me question her ability because of a professional of over 2 decades don't know the etiquette of customer service then how am I sure of what she told me is solid. So I will be making another appointment with another establishment . My advice if you don't really care about certain mannerism and can handle a little brass and crudeness then I don't think you will have an issue. These are not necessarily bad traits just strong. On a good healthy day like a annual exam -it wouldn't had bother me - I would had provided sarcasm back to her but when you don't feel good - it should be a no brainer. The doctors here are nice enough but their office staff is terrible. I don't even know why I went to this office as long as I did since they consistently treat the patients like they're doing you a favor by existing. The office staff gave me most ridiculous run around to schedule my most recent appointment I should have just scheduled with someone else while I still had the chance. I called to see if I could just get a pair of contacts to get through a particularly busy time, but the doctor clearly never got my request, and I never got the promised call back. When I finally went to schedule they acted like they didn't accept my new insurance, even though I had already checked I went and doubled checked, then when I called back to make the appointment they were like, "of course we accept that insurance!" After I had wasted time on the phone with my insurance company. Skip ahead to when I'm finally being seen, and they have me down for an appointment time 10 minutes before the time I had been told on the phone. The lady at the front desk was snarky beyond measure and didn't even look at me as she addressed me. I will not be going back which is a bummer because doctor Kevin is knowledgeable and efficient. However, I'm sure there are other knowledgeable doctors out there and my concerns with the office staff seemed dismissed even though I've been a patient for about 5 years. read more

We brought our son in for an exam because his eye was turning inward. The entire staff was amazing and welcoming. They spent over 1.5 hours with us, discussed options and gave us a referral to a surgeon. Sometimes when going to a new doctor/dentist/etc you feel like your dealing with used car salesmen-they try to sell you everything and play on your emotions. Here, I had so much faith in the doctors. I could tell they cared and told me upfront that our son didn't need glasses and that surgery was the best option (even though they couldn't perform it there). Our family will be going to Eagle Eye Vision from now on. read more

The center was clean, the staff were helpful and nice. I met with Dr. Kevin Dixon who was quite nice and I felt I could ask questions without feeling silly. He was efficient with the exam process, picked out my glasses. They came a week late (due to my prescription having to be ordered). Overall I'm quite pleased with my visit and will return next year for my exam. read more

I've had great experiences here up until recently. But now because it is cheaper to go elsewhere to get glasses because I'm on a budget I receive attitude and criticism from the front desk staff and one of the doctors. So they've lost any future business I would have given them. read more

I don't know if this is a new building or they recently moved since this was my first exam but it all looked really new and clean, the waiting area is nice and big with a small kids area. I had appointment at 1:30pm and sure enough at 1:30pm I was being taken back to have my eyes looked at. I can't stand making appointments and then having doctors make you wait for up to an hour, thankfully they didn't do that here. For my first eye exam it was a good experience, I was expecting the worst since I dislike most doctors but the staff was friendly. All their equipment seems new and was all very clean. Dr. Christina was amazing, I appreciate her taking the time to answer all my stupid questions about eyes and making my first eye exam a good one. Let me be clear, this was my first eye exam EVER. They have a boutique with tons of frames to choose from and while I have never worn glasses before the staff was very helpful in helping me find the right pair. Not ever having worn glasses before their assistance was greatly appreciated in determining the right size, fit, and utility for what I need. I highly recommend them if you are looking for an eye doctor in the area. read more

This is by far the most inefficient medical operation I ever dealt with. I have vision insurance and scheduled an eye examination. I was told because they were also conduction a diabetes medical check which was covered by medicare/tricare, my medical insurances, I had to pay a copay because they could not bill the vision insurance and the medical insurance on the same day. I assumed I was paying for the medical portion and that my vision insurance would be billed for the eye examination. A month later I get a bill for the full amount because they said my medical insurance did not cover it. I went into the office and explained to them I knew my eye exam was not covered by medical insurance and that is why I got vision insurance to begin with. I also told them to use my vision insurance when I originally came in because all I wanted was an eye exam. The staff acted like I was speaking Greek and had no idea about the insurance difference. I finally just paid the bill and told them to remove me from their patient list. The worse interaction with a vision center I have ever had. I pay for insurance every month so I don't have to pay when I go and this time I end up paying for insurance and the entire bill and they have no clue as to why. I would not recommend this office to my worse enemy. read more

We went here last year. The wait was to be seen was atrocious. We waited almost an hour to be seen. The Doctor we saw was nice enough. This year, I called to make my appointment and our 3 daughters appointments. The lady I spoke with, seemed highly annoyed and agitated with me. I work a full time job and had an extra day off. I wanted to make all 4 appointments for that day and she pitched a fit. She told me it's a long block of time and if I didn't show, I'd be charged a fee. I reassured her that we'd be there. I showed up before my appointed time and sat, waiting for 20+ minutes. I was so annoyed, got up and said something. The lady at the desk said the doctor had an "emergency" and she's sorry, in a combative way. Not an apologetic way. I told her to cancel my appointment and my girls appointments, that we won't be back. Very rude. Condescending. There is another Yelp page for this place and the reviews are very similar to mine.
