If you can see this piece of history put some coins in it and get caught up in the excitement! You will not regret it!

I was here three years ago and my friends walked me up and down the strip for an entire week stopping at every casino asking the question of where the heck is the horse game? We couldn't find it so when I saw the review on YELP I bookmarked so I could come check it out. It was a TON OF FUN! There is a spot for 10gamers a change machine on site to get quarters and in the 3hours I spent there I only saw 1 empty spot. This is by far the only game Ive seen that gets the players as well as the crowd that gathers so engrossed they yell and scream at the horses like they were at the track themselves. There was a group from Germany there last night and speaking German a little I loved listening to them and watching their excitement. These guys were even making side bets out side of the game and I was just waiting for security to come put a stop to our fun. Outside of the machine breaking down three times in the time I was there we were left alone and it was an amazing time. CHECK THIS GAME OUT ASAP it may end up in storage again soon.

    Fun old game.

I paid $841.32 for two nights in an upgraded room, and the condition of the room was completely unacceptable for the price. The room was dirty, poorly maintained, and nowhere near what I would expect from a Las Vegas resort charging over $400 per night. The underside of the lamp hanging between the beds was covered in a thick layer of dust and debris directly above where we slept. The shower curtain had visible stains, one of the towels was stained, and the towels had a musty odor instead of smelling freshly laundered. The windows were also filthy and difficult to see through. To make matters worse, the beds were extremely hard and felt old and worn out. The entire room felt neglected and in desperate need of a deep cleaning and refurbishment. I have attached photos because I knew no one would believe how bad it was. The dust buildup on the lamp alone was disgusting and clearly had not been cleaned in a very long time. I was so uncomfortable with the condition of the room that I checked out early and left at 8 PM on my second night rather than stay another night in that room. I've stayed in budget motels that were cleaner than this "upgraded" room. For what New York-New York charges, there is absolutely no excuse for these conditions. I contacted the hotel directly and never received a response. I will never stay here again and would not recommend this property to anyone. Save your money and stay somewhere else. This room wasn't worth $841.32--it wasn't even worth a fraction of that. Do better, New York-New York. This was embarrassing.

Then I was given a hard time because the reservation was originally under my wife's name. She was unable to make the trip with me in the end because our babysitter was late, and instead of trying to help, the staff told me I had to deal with the booking company myself. Even after I provided them with a new reservation under my own name, they still made me wait another hour because their system supposedly hadn't updated yet. After a 7-hour drive, they basically left me sitting in the lobby with no real assistance or effort to help resolve the situation. To make things worse, I later received an email confirming I could have a late checkout until 1 PM, but they deactivated my room key at 11 AM, which prevented me from getting back into the room to pack my belongings. In the end, they also charged me for late checkout after specifically telling me they would not charge me. Overall, this was the worst service I've experienced in Las Vegas, and I visit Vegas about four times a year. We decided to try a new hotel this time, but I definitely will not return and would not recommend this place to any friends or family.

These are the old school curtains with manual movement. No auto opening curtains. Anyway, pool was nice, but they took out the kids splash spilling things we saw on YouTube videos in the back pool. Now there are no kid features. At night the casino vibe was okay. They seemed generous with the drinks and had decent service. Shower pressure compared to other hotels was average. It wasn't bad, but not strong like many we have stayed at. Possible black mold on shower caulk. Biggest issue was the firm bed. My lower back hurt when I woke up. This didn't happen at the hotel we had left the night before. For those reasons, especially the bed, we might try Crockfords next time, but will never stay at Hilton again. Too many places to stay at in Vegas. Room was the smallest we ever had in Vegas too. Enjoy!

We stayed from Tuesday afternoon and left on Saturday morning and in general we had a relatively nice and calm visit here with some exceptions. This hotel seems to be connected over to Horseshoe Hotel, and both share similar amenities like the gym and pool. Check-in was a little bit of a pain since there were only two receptionists handling check-ins and check-outs when we first walked in, and I later overheard patrons waiting in line saying that one of the receptionists took a really long time with one set of guests because he was talking too much with them about Paris the city. My other friends instead used their mobile app to VERY quickly check in so I'll remember that if I decide to stay here again. The system somehow didn't work for one of my friends though, and she had to wait in line like I did. Check out was seamless as we got am email to do so. Hotel room quality is relatively clean to the naked eye. Beds, sheets and the bathroom are relatively clean, and things in the room - switches, AC, and door handles among other observations - work as expected. I probably would have wanted better soap bars if anything, and bathroom quality was subpar. Beds and pillows are soft and warm, and our room came with three full-length mirrors so we could check ourselves out and our OOTDs. There is a small section of candy, beer and water bottles near a small table near the window where if you take the objects out of their place, you get charged for them. I've been told repeatedly to be careful of doing that throughout this whole visit. The 2nd floor has a spa and a 24-hour gym only accessible to those with their room card. Gym has very limited equipment and machines are really close to each other but you can get your full-body workout there given the area isn't too packed with other guests who also like exercising early in the morning. I never visited the 3rd floor though I did see it carries this place's pool. Each floor also has its own ice machine. The whole first floor has a myriad of restaurants you can go for like Cafe Americano, Bobby Flay's Burgers, Nobu, Dominique Ansel and others I haven't seen in person. If you're not down for those, you can venture around the bottom floor to Horseshoe and find more common eateries like Johnny Rockets, and also some arcade centers Nad a curiously fun bar! Besides that, there's a TON of casino and slot machines along with poker tables everywhere. My group and I looked past all these to find places to eat at and shop for essentials instead. I also like how there are more than a few places to use the restroom around the main floor of Paris and Horseshoe too! I'm just wondering if even a single soap dispenser in any of the sinks on the first floor is working since I can't ever get any from them... This hotel is also near pretty much the major points on the Strip even though some require substantial walking or constant Uber pickups through the Rideshare area. You can get to New York-New York for Hershey's and M&Ms, Bellagio for their water shows, the Grand Bazaar Shops for Chilangos Tacos and Duck Donuts, and Flamingo Las Vegas to see actual flamingoes, and this isn't even the bulk of it! It's easily Uber-able to places like Chinatown for all the matcha places you want and, as matcha lovers, my foodie friend and I were more than satisfied. It's also home to the World Series of Poker (WSOP) tournaments as of this writing, though my group and I did not partake in anything related to this event. I'd stay here again given another opportunity to visit Las Vegas again! It's near so many places and I was able to get around easily while also weighing in choices within the hotel itself.

We've stayed there in the past and it was alright for a mid-tier Vegas Strip hotel but this time was a huge disappointment. When we checked in, it took us about 45 minutes just to get through the line. They have 10 check in desks but only 2 people working ... ON MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND. We were thankful that we got a cluster of rooms together with our party in the habitat tower...which is supposed to be more newly remodeled than the Lobby Tower. Well I am not sure what they remodeled about it but our friends who had a room in the Lobby tower had a much more pleasant time and a better view. Our shower had the pressure of a fire hose and I think it took a few layers of skin off. The shower was also the dumbest design and was basically just an open space so the bathroom flooded every time you showered due to the high water pressure. We asked for hypoallergenic pillows BEFORE we arrived because we had an allergy to feathers and of course those were not provided. We called down to the desk to ask for some and it took 48 hours, 3 phone calls, 2 text messages, and a walk down to the lobby and discussion with a manager only for them to bring up MORE FEATHER PILLOWS. When the housekeeping lady came to the door with them, I said "we asked for non-feather pillows" and she rolled her eyes and walked away. She eventually came back with them, but it was laughable how long this took. You'd think we had asked for pillows make of gold. They also didn't clean our rooms while we were there but cleaned our neighboring rooms so we never got new towels and had to ask for those as well. I don't think we will stay at the flamingo again unfortunately... there's just too many other options for this to be the experience we agreed to.
