I called and they offered a sweater to cover their chopped up hair cut in 80 degree weather. Not a refund or half of the money. I'm not the person that will complain often. Unfortunately, the experience ended badly. The morning after his grooming, my dog's eyes were red, swollen, and had significant discharge. Since our regular vet was closed due to the upcoming holiday, we were referred to UGA, where he was diagnosed with chemical burns in both eyes -- caused by skunk shampoo getting into them. He's now in considerable pain and will require ongoing medication and treatment. I appreciate that they fit us in quickly, but clearly the grooming process was not gentle or careful enough when handling his face and eyes.
