Yesterday, I took my dog for his first visit here due to the lack of technology my dog's current vet did not have. I entered this facility and it did not smell like animals. It smelled like home. Very clean. Front office staff was very friendly and Dr. Thompson was awesome. She listened to my concerns and provided me with affordable options. She treated my dog (ZuZu) like he is treated at home with lots of love. She talked to him during her examination and her assistants were very calm and experienced. He finally relaxed because he knew he was being treated special. My dog will go back because of the love and attention he received on yesterday. read more

I called all of the vets in this area and it's really expensive to get your furry friend their vaccines. But at Wellspring, they have pretty reasonable prices and excellent care. I'm a cat lady so our vet treats my baby with good care. She gave him his vaccines and even gave me free samples for fleas and ticks. Many people come here, especially dog people. I love this vet. They are great people, are amazing with the animals, and generally are great with us humans. I highly recommend them to anyone. However, this is a negative review about one of their receptionists. I was asked to bring my parents dog in for a check up. Admittedly I did not know why he was in so I was not able to answer the questions they were asking. In the middle of the second question the phone rang. After 3 rings the lady helping me turned around, answered the phone, and began to assist the caller leaving me high and dry standing there in front of the counter like one who just saw a baker give your pre ordered cake to some walk in. I will totally be coming back, but I will wait for the blonde behind the counter next time. read more

I have been going to Dr. Thomas for over 20 years. She is the BEST! She is caring and very knowledgeable. I always recommend her to anyone who asks. I have boarded my fur babies with her several times and they are well taken care of. She has taken care of so many of my cats and when we have to make the painstaking decision to let our old ones go, she does it with care and compassion. We also use the groomer there and have had no issues but one and that was due to miscommunication on my part and I'll add that that groomer is no longer there. Made an appointment for my dog's nails to be trimmed. They have an on site groomer. The lady made my appointment with the DR!!!!!!! I waited 45 minutes and finally asked what was up. She said I must have communicated it wrong. Who takes their dog to the Dr. for a nail trim? I walked out. They flaked on my appointment and wasted total of an hour of my time. Took my sick kitty to them. They did tests and said it was nothing serious. Sent us home with antibiotics and said call if she hadn't eaten by Monday. My nephew took his elderly cat in at 4:30. The cat was seizing and obviously in distress and near the end of his life. He was told they had a 5:10 appointment. What? You can't stop what you are doing to address an obvious emergency? My nephew returned home and ended his cat's misery himself.
