Quick, friendly service. I've driven by this place a million times, and when I needed a banner done (with only a few days notice) this place popped into my head. Its a small shop and the outside makes it a little uninviting, however the customer service is 10 out of 5 stars. The owners are super friendly, and will work with you to make sure your project is the best it could be. I walked in with a PDF of the banner I needed to make, the owner told me that it would need a couple of things to make it better (white outline to make the words pop) and worked with me to make it into an adobe illustrator file (good thing I had my laptop with me.) After that, he did the rest, tweaked it to make the white outline to the text and also added a shadow to really make it pop. He asked if I needed the grommets put in (no extra charge) and since it was a large banner, he put in 8 (instead of the usual 4 you would get at just the corners.) I was also debating whether or not to get another project done and let him know that it might be a possibility, and left the files with him just in case. I let him know the day after and he was able to complete everything (one large banner and 6 flags - 3X5 - all in record time. They accept a variety of payments, including PayPal. This is a great place to get your banners done. The team there are experts at delivering a quality product. I wanted a new design for a logo but only had a rough idea of the design concept. They kindly requested 3 main points I wanted and basically directed me on how to bring it all together. Then, they put together a logo the was more than I could hope for. And, they were readily open to make final tweaks to my liking on a finished product. The price of it all from design and artwork was at a great value. I needed to replace a 2' x 3' outside sign made of unusual material with new information design. The previous person was no longer there so I had to figure how to do this. Someone suggested Office Depot and staples but when I took my sign there they couldn't figure out the material or how to recreate. I took my sign to Sign Jose and Craig and Gene knew exactly what the material was, how it was previously printed. They then gave me different options and looked for ways for me to spend the least amount but still getting quality work. I was surprised by they're looking after my best interest. I got a few options/quotes and left the sign with them. I chose the least amount and I just picked up the sign and they did an Amazing job. Love this place, Gene has all the materials that I needed to do the vinyl stickers for my car. He rushed my order and was able to get me my design and stickers the next day. I really appreciate people that go above and beyond to take care of their customers. I highly recommend this place. Price is more than fair and great service. The building is easy to find. Outside the building looks old but inside you can tell that Gene has been in business for a long time. I have you sign San Jose twice now and I could not be more happy with the results. The first time, I did the design and they didn't an excellent job on re-creating my vision. The second time they gave me suggestions on what would make the sign better and I ended up going with their thoughts. The sign came out amazing!! It was way better than I could've imagined. I went because I wanted some information, the person that was there was not very knowledgeable. He asked me to leave my information to get a call back, after a week I did not receive a call. I called them and the person on the phone refused to give me info over the phone saying he needed to talk to me in person. I went and let him know I needed a banner, he said his printer had problems and he could not work on my banner. Something he could have told me over the phone. My uncle needed a sign that says " sold" for his real estate business last minute. I called the business and the man who picked up was very rude both time over the phone and in person. He kept rushing me and tapping his pen on the counter obnoxiously when I asked for a minute to decide how I want the sign to look. I saw the reviews so thought i'll pay for the product and forget the low quality customer service this man had. What started as a price of $75 came up to $109. I was told to pay extra because I wanted the sign to be bigger and to be pick up earlier. I didn't hesitate thinking that I was paying for a sturdy, well-made, quality product that would probably take some skill to make. Wrong..... definitely wrong. The sign was made using some white cardboard material...something you'd get at target or Walmart for 75 cents for your child for his/her poster project and was very small ( I was told it would be bigger). It was the most flimsy and cheap looking sign I've ever seen...wouldn't last a minute if the wind was to blow AND the paint has started to come off after 3 days. I'm telling you, if you wanted a sign, you might as well spend your 75 cents and grab a cardboard and do the work yourself. Not very smart of them to rip me off like that. I might just overpaid for a cardboard here but they're actually the one missing out on future referrals and orders. My uncle asked me to do a sample order to see how it was but really needed someone to do all the banners and signs for his agents and their clients in the long run. Gene is an A _ _, very rude and dose not know what he is doing! Printed some decals that I asked for and HE CHANGED MY DESIGN with out asking me and still wanted me to pay for it! No thanks with that being said the decals were not done in time and I gave him 3 weeks and I had to keep calling him to see if they were done after I see the decals I was so upset and walk out... about an hr later he charges my card for the full amount... Changed my design, I have to keep calling to see when they will be done, and can't have them done on time I'm not paying for that! THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH THE TIME! Don't even think about it. Sign Jose made a sign for my daughter's dog walking business. It was just a small job - and 18" by 24" sidewalk sandwich board sign. I had made a design for the sign using Word and clip art. Gene re-did the design with his professional expertise and WOW, what a difference! This review is a little late... Really rude and sloppy. Doesn't care about customers and how the results are. Gave him the design and font I wanted... Results came out like some kid did it. Really disappointed.. Even more disappointed because he was rude and acted like he knew what he was doing, always cutting off my sentence as I spoke. Such a joke place. I cannot give this business enough praise! They were wonderful and were able to help create a banner/sign for our little league team in one day. The sign shop referred to us by our baseball league wasn't able to print our logo properly and refused to make a sign in time for our opening day.
