They walked me through the tradeoffs and ultimately recommended stepping up from mid-range equipment to more professional-grade options. The reasoning was clear, the cost/benefit made sense, and at no point did I feel pressured--just well-advised. The actual Ethernet installation work was top-notch--smurf tubing, recessed (not sticking out!) enclosures, and everything. The level of craftsmanship and attention to detail is honestly beyond what I would normally expect (or even feel comfortable demanding from contractors). They went above and beyond without being asked, and the cable organization is immaculate. Zencom was recommended by my security camera company to come in and replace the fiber so I could get my cameras back up and running. Adam came out from Zencom and quickly assessed the situation, spoke the language of my security company and developed a plan to replace the fire damaged cabling. Within a very short time, he obtained the necessary supplies and had the replacement installed in less than a day. More impressively, he came back and spent hours making sure all the cameras were back up, correcting minor issues he came across with my initial installation and left me in a much better situation than I was in even before the fire. I confirmed twice, both at this store and calling the call center, that indeed cancelling a line would drop the total bill. The moment I cancelled my $35/month line, my monthly service package cost went up from $120 to $150/month. Basically, this is a scam. They lead you to believe that cancelling a line would save you money, and when I did so they completely increased the price of the package to $150/month. No wonder T-mobile has been getting a lot of heat recently for how they mislead customers.... good luck trying to grow revenue at all costs!
