One writing called them "facing extinction" and most of us thought they went OOB. They never did. In fact, they are over 100 years old and kicking! Even back in the day when they closed thousands of stores and endured multiple bankruptcies, they still trekked along. This location is going strong, especially since relocating from the old K-mart mall on M-66. The folks I met were down home friendly and extremely knowledgeable. There is a little cell phone activity, but this is still the place where you pick up all your electronic repair needs. Rows of capacitors, diodes, switches and the boards to assemble them on. I didn't get through the entire store today (it's pretty a big place and Mrs. E was on the warpath to go to Thursday farmers market). But I bought a new soldering iron and a Volt/Ohm meter. The prices are pretty decent. I did notice a gentleman repairing what looked to be an android. They can replace batteries and do repair work on cameras and tablets. Probably more. 10/23

The LeBron James doll dropped today and sold out everywhere! No manager at any Target was willing to assist me. I wanted to go online and order but was unable to for some odd reason. I called Traverse city and spoke to Ryan, the manager at the store. He was awesome! He bent the rules one time and held 1 figurine for me. He showed humanity and exemplary customer service!!!!!! I work for the government and sometimes I have to show my humanity side also and it gives me a sense of pride to help someone and it gives me hope that there are still some great people in this evil world. I have to say Chris was awesome as well! He showed my mother kindness and for that I am grateful! I realize it's their job to give excellent customer service but, a lot of people don't! There was no way to speak to anyone by phone in this country about the final bill. They didn't understand the bill either. Three hours of being transferred to person after person who was reading from a script, with no resolution. Went back to this store again, to be told I could not turn the phone back in, the husband still had the pay off a brand new phone someone else charged on the account, but they sure were efficient at taking our money. To be honest, it was worth the giant bill to never have to deal with Verizon again.
