Very thorough, and while their price is high it's in line with the area. The issue I had was with their tint jobs. I've had 5 vehicles tinted at Capitol Shine, and while the first 4 were absolutely flawless, the 5th one had to be redone *three* separate times for major issues -- I'm not talking about a little speck of dust here or there, but major contamination. The final time they tinted the last vehicle, they ended up damaging the leather in the car by letting the tinting spray sit on the leather under the window for too long. To their credit, they apologized and refunded me for the tint job -- but I still had to go and have the leather replaced, which was a major pain in the ass. So, if you're looking for detailing - A+ work. If you're looking for tinting, be careful.

I learned more about modern ceramic tint vs what we used to use back in the day. After reaching out to several companies in the Sterling/Ashburn area, I found Sunshine Control and requested a quote. Erlinda provided me a few options to go with standard ceramic tint or the 3M Crystalline tint. I waited several months to make my decision as I wanted to get closer to the spring/summer season before needing the tint. Well, I decided to do it earlier and reached back out to Erlinda and she honored the pricing she provided and walked me through the different tint options. The work was completed in roughly 5 hours after I dropped off my car. They are detailed, careful and cover all electronics on a tesla to avoid water intrusion issues with the installation process. I ended up with 35% tints all around and could not be happier.
