This is my 2nd time using Signature Electric....my 1st experience was positive so I hired them again for a larger project. Scott the owner did the bid.... when it came time to do the work Scott pushed the start date back two times. Then on the 3rd try, his electrician never showed up and Scott claimed that he had to pull him because of a fever. ( considering Covid that's reasonable).... then the next day out of the blue Scott emails me saying that he is canceling the entire contract, without reason. He left me totally stranded....very disappointing and frustrating. Based on my experience with Signature and Scott, I would not recommend Signature or Scott. read more

These guys were fantastic to work with, super responsive to questions and the electrician that came out was ultra efficient and super professional. He came in, spotted the issue, fixed it and was on the way all in a span of about 20 minutes. It was an easy issue, but still that was dang fast. Good and fast service. They sent out a member of their team. He replaced two 2 prong outlet with a 3 prong outlet in a 1927 home. He also replaced a GFCI outlet outside. He did the work quickly and left swiftly. Billing is handled via a follow up email with the owner who will email an invoice and I opted to pay via ACH bank transfer. It was easy, efficient, and convenient to work with these guys. The cost was in line with what I expected for the work. I wouldn't hesitate to work with these guys again on a similar project. read more

I hired Signature Electric first for some minor electrical repair but again shortly later on for more in-depth interior remodeling - replacing lights with LED cans, installing outlets, etc. Signature Electric was punctual and professional each time they had to came out to either do work or to make an estimate. Some things about the service that impressed me most: 1. The owner was consistently responsive to text/email during business hours 2. Pricing was clearly laid out. I had found from checking with other contractors that they will entice with you an intro offer, maybe a coupon, but then charge very high for hourly labor that bites back at the end. It's worth checking to get competing estimates, which I did, and in the end I found Signature rates to be the most reasonable. 3. Luckily I got the remodeling scheduled within days after making the call (might be different for you depending on the time of year). 4. Originally the remodeling was scheduled to take two days. They ended up finishing in one. Electricians can be an expensive trade, but I can honestly say it was worth it. I would recommend Signature to anyone looking for electrical service in their home. read more

We remodeled a nearly 100 year old home. Signature Electric took care of rewiring the entire house and did a fantastic job! Scott, the owner also helped with lighting design and placement - and it is the thing that we get the most compliments on. From day one they hit the ground running, were always on time, and did fantastic work. We can't recommend them highly enough. With a project as comprehensive as ours we were nervous and made sure to do our research on everyone we worked with - all the great things we heard about Signature turned out to be true and I can't imagine having worked with anyone else. Really great company! I found a random wire in my wall that was spliced without a junction box. I requested a quote via Yelp on a Sunday night and had a message waiting first thing Monday morning with a cost guess-timate ($250) and a window of time they could come by that day. They did great work at my house for a basement remodel and the workers I dealt with were amazing. HOWEVER, I will never again use them due to the owner. He is one of the rudest individuals I have ever dealt with. We had an additional $1,000 worth of charges at the end and all I was asking for was an explanation of those charges. After making me feel like an idiot and belittling me he finally gave me a moment to talk so that I could explain to him what I wasn't understanding. Furthermore, the bid that he prepared for us was inaccurate and did not factor in outlets that were necessary to meet code. This was very frustrating because it raised our bill and I previous electricians we had worked with knew exactly what was needed (before starting the work) to meet code. You would think that after spending $4,000 on basement electric he would be slightly nicer and more patient when describing additional charges. I am regretful of choosing them and in the end they were no cheaper than Harrison Electric who we had used for everything prior to them. read more
