Food for thought is the FIRST AND ONLY one to arrive on time and still hot! Even better the food was great. We took a bit from each of the 3 sample menus Brenda created for a totally custom lunch for 50 ppl. Everything was delicious. The chicken!! Everyone raved on the lasagna and the raviolis with fresh veggies what a hit. My personal fav is the brownies! Yumm!! (oatmeal is a very close second) Michelle and Marc delivered ahead of time and insisted on setting up, we are used to the hand off at the door and run! What a refreshing change. We already booked for next month and the month after! Definitely my go to from now on! And the selection is so varied you can go any way with them. Our next events are an appetizer assortment at a brewing company and then our end of the year Brunch! Oh, and just for the record I never do reviews - they are just that dang good!!!! Wish I took pics - next time :) Oh, so blown over by the taste and service forgot about cost - so reasonable, they came in under my budget on all three of their option ideas, even though I said we had some room for flexibility. Again, a nice surprise.

We started with a tasting at their facility, prepared by chef and owner Ed Regovich. It consisted of a hearty variety of options: Lemon chicken, roast beef, potato and cheese pierogies, red skin parmesan potatoes, green beans, and house salad. Everything was so delicious that we put down a deposit to book them for our wedding the next day. Pricing was very reasonable, ranging from $18-$25 per person for entrees depending on chicken or fancier cuts of beef or fish. We choose Chicken Marsala, Beef Tenderloin medallions, homemade pierogies, green bean almondine with carrots, and potatoes au gratin. We also had a spinach and artichoke dip for an appetizer. The staff was great on our wedding night and made sure our guests had plenty of food. I had a big plate with a bit of everything and they totally nailed it! The entrees were nicely seasoned without being overly salty, which I've noticed a lot of wedding food can be. The beef tenderloin was super tender and wow, their homemade pierogies are to die for! The Regovich staff made our wedding night a memorable one! Besides wedding catering, Regovich is known for their fall clam bakes and fish frys during Lent! If you're looking for a caterer on the east side of town, give Ed a call!

We were hungry and we were going to take a dive and just get a sandwich or a slice of pizza the gentleman behind the counter ignored us while we stood there. We finally just turned around and left. Used to go to this place all the time when I worked downtown Cleveland and was so very disappointed this time around. You should consider bringing back full service, hot food, and then one of the employees said that you limit the hours that you actually prepare hot food now which is tragic in my opinion There are so many other places to eat downtown Cleveland that are open and serving food throughout their business day that a person does not have to waste their time coming here. I'm sure as long as you're selling liquor and imported cheese you'll probably stay in business, but how disappointing.

Granted, this place isn't very large so it can't have everything but it still seemed like 50% of the stuff there was just American stuff. Oh well! They have a nice selection of Gallucci branded goods like pasta sauces and even cater to restaurants prepared foods like meatballs and eggplant cutlets. The spice section is nicely priced too. During my first visit to Gallucci, I bought some dried cilantro ($1.44) and minced garlic ($4) as well as a small orange flavored almond nougat candy that I impulsively bought for about 0.50 and then immediately regretted not buying more! The minced garlic unfortunately got all in between my teeth when I used it on a dish the next day. Sadly, I was looking for more of a snack collection than they had here. Or even some frozen desserts like gelato or panetone or those delightfully sinful Mulino Bianco Galleti cookies I dream of eating again. Most of what is here is good for making homemade pizzas and sandwiches. That's pretty cool although it was interesting that they closed up the deli counters way before their 6pm closing time when I stopped by a couple of days ago. A muffaletta sandwich sounded good at the moment haha! If I am ever in the area again, I would like to try something from the deli counter and pick up a sauce or two!

Right in the middle of dinner, every single phone in the room went off at the same time with a tornado warning. You could feel the shift for a second--everyone looking around, trying to figure out what was happening--and then shortly after, the lights went out. No candles, no backup lighting, just a room full of people sitting together in the dark, lit by phone screens, laughing and taking it all in. (Yes, we got a picture--because how could you not?) What stood out immediately was how calm everything remained. There was no chaos, no confusion, and no sense of panic. The staff handled it with a level of professionalism and composure that honestly impressed all of us. And that's where Noah deserves real recognition. Noah went above and beyond in a way that you just don't see every day. When we asked what the plan was if things escalated, he didn't brush it off--he made sure we knew exactly what would happen and reassured us that we would be taken care of and moved safely to the kitchen if needed. That level of awareness, communication, and care made a huge difference in the moment. Now let's talk about the food--because even without the storm story, this place stands on its own. Everything was excellent. The salads were fresh and well-prepared, the meals were flavorful and clearly made with care, and the overall quality across the table was consistent. You can tell this is a restaurant that has built its reputation over time and continues to deliver. The atmosphere also deserves a callout. There's something about this place that feels genuinely personal. The family photos throughout the restaurant--even in the bathrooms--gave it a warmth that's hard to describe but instantly recognizable. It reminded me of my Nana and Papa, that kind of nostalgic, comforting feeling that you don't often get in restaurants anymore. And somehow, even sitting in the dark during a tornado warning, that feeling didn't go away--it actually made it stronger. That says everything. End result: * Incredible, high-quality food * Exceptional, thoughtful service (huge shoutout to Noah and the team) * A warm, authentic, family-style atmosphere * A once-in-a-lifetime dinner experience we'll never forget Amazing experience--lights or not. If you're in the area, go. And if something unexpected happens while you're there, just know--you're in good hands. Would absolutely come back.

I had attended events at the same facility in the past and had nothing but good experiences. Unfortunately due to the pandemic of COVID-19 many of our guests could attend as groups greater than 10 were asked not to meet by the federal government. Knowing I could not prevent an act of God I decided to reach out to the Dino's event planning team in hopes that they would extend grace during this time. Unfortunately, I was mistaken. I was quickly reminded that my deposit was nonrefundable and I needed to pick another date. Knowing that a 40th birthday is a mile stone and having numerous guests come from out of town, rescheduling for whenever the coronavirus ends (by the way Ohio is still in the thick of it) is next to impossible task. Knowing that refunding money was not possible, I asked the Dino's event team if we could meet in the middle by, using our deposit toward their catering services since we are forced to host a small party in our home. This request was also denied. We are living in exceptional times and many businesses will have to make exceptions. My request was not for an exception but for an alternative use for funds I plan to spend with Dinos anyway. Please note my review is based on my personal experience.
