I am writing this as a witness to an incredibly upsetting incident involving my daughter, who is a long-time client of Anna's. My daughter recently underwent a major surgery. Per her surgeon's strict orders to prevent infection and protect her fractured nasal bones that were in a cast, she cannot wear a mask or glasses, and she must avoid getting her face wet. We visited the salon specifically for a "salon-style" wash to follow medical guidance. While Anna has always provided excellent service over the last 2.5 years, the behavior of another staff member (the owner Kathys other daughter-in-law) was absolutely appalling. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When my daughter politely asked Anna to wear a mask for protection, since my daughter cannot wear one herself due to her surgical fractures, this other employee chose to interfere. She was incredibly rude and aggressive, telling my daughter, "Do you think you're a queen?" and then telling her "dont look at me, close your eyes and shut up."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was shocking to see a client treated with such blatant disrespect and disregard for medical necessity. [[HIGHLIGHT]]While Anna apologized privately, the fact that the owner Kathy and other staff members stood by and said nothing is unacceptable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] No matter how competitive your prices are, there is no excuse for bullying a client who is in a vulnerable, post-operative state. We have supported this family business for years, but we cannot recommend a place that treats medical safety and basic human decency as an inconvenience. Dublin is a growing, diverse community that deserves local businesses that make our city better, not worse. We need businesses that uphold standards of respect, inclusivity, and basic human decency. Allowing this kind of toxic behavior and blatant disregard for a client's medical needs does nothing but pull our community down. read more

Was looking for a cheaper option for regular blowdry shampoos and saw that they had a $30 rate. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The salon is what you expect, bare bones but kind service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They took me after 5 min and provided a nice shampoo and condition, then proceeding with the blowdry. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They don't ask what you want so if you do, make sure to note.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The brush she used was not a round brush which is usually what people use. The blowdry was fine but I asked to get waves as was flat and not special. They charged me $40 for longer hair - likely won't go back. Seems good for haircuts and simple stuff. read more

This used to be an okay place as walk-in was welcome, and the charge for haircut was reasonable. The quality of service was sometimes a luck factor especially when, (our child) pre-teens /teens need their haircut done exactly the way they describe it to the hairdresser. For myself, this was a good place to go to for haircuts I went in in 2026. It's hard to find someone who will cut my hair the way I asked them to. She even asked if I wanted any added additions like side bangs and all which I declined. Anna did exactly what I wanted. I started coming here when I moved to Dublin a few years ago and really like how they do my hair. I am not super picky but I like it trimmed and layered. I usually pay $25 for a women's cut and my husband also started going here and he pays $16. There are usually people already there so you might have to wait a bit but it's worth it read more

I showed the barber a picture of the last time I got a haircut but I thought the hair was too short so i asked for longer. When I got the haircut it was shorter than the picture. I don't understand why they pretty much gave me a buzz cut when I asked to keep my hair on the longer side. I must say that I was more than excited to try this place out. I saw a few reviews on yelp and I saw a couple of pictures and I thought this would be a wonderful place for me to host a self-care makeover retreat for my family and I (bridal shower party for 15 of us in total), so of course before booking the place out I wanted to test it out in advance so that I can provide my family with the proper information and recommendations for the various services they wanted and needed. I called in advance so many times, but they never returned my call. So I decided to drop by not once, but twice only to be mistreated and disrespected without having any services done both times. The first time I arrived I asked questions in regards to pricing for hair as well as a manicure and pedicure would go. There were only two women working at the time one woman was actually doing someone's hair and the other woman was sweeping up the place. The woman who was sweeping had a very bad attitude and she kept referring to the lady who was cutting hair to address me. The lady who was cutting hair just pointed me to the sign on the wall but the sign on the wall could not provide me with the actual answers that I needed. It was like pulling teeth to get actual information out of these two women in regards to pricing for Mani-Pedi's, and haircuts. I'd then figured well you know it's the end of the day and maybe they're tired I'll try again another day. I went back in there this past weekend and they were pretty busy. I wanted to speak to them about booking out the salon and which day would be the best for my family and I. I mentioned to the lady at the first chair are you guys too busy for another appointment today, if so I can come back another day. Can we set an appointment for that? She turns around and rudely says what do you need, what do you need? I then begin to feel very uncomfortable I told her that I would like a wash blow dry and haircut and if she had time could I also get a gel manicure and pedicure. The lady continues the haircut and completely ignores me with absolutely no response. Another lady with her two children walked up behind me and without saying a word to me, she instantly addresses them. Saying that the tech they were scheduled to see had left for the day because they're late for their appointment. The customer replied well my daughter is willing to wait to get her haircut today. I'm going to take her to get a drink and we'll be right back. The woman in the 1st chair said we close at 5 pm today and the client was insisting upon getting her daughter a drink and coming right back. I'm standing there patiently waiting for a response still, but to no avail. That's when I said something about making the appointment for a future date and time, but she just waved me off like she was shooing a fly away from her face. In lieu of what we all have experienced over the past two years with the pandemic and the loss of so many lives I was expecting to receive better treatment I'm not gonna say I expected completely open arms but I did expect at least some form of consideration just for humanity as a whole. Not to be treated like I wasn't an actual paying customer. The first time I showed up in person, I did not want to believe that race had anything to do with it but after I returned the second time it was definitely proven not only to me but to a couple of the customers that saw this take place at the time that racism did play a part in the situation. I would not recommend this salon to no one of color because if you are not of Asian descent or a visible Caucasian they will treat you rudely and speak to you very disrespectfully. They missed a few spots (nothing catastrophic) that I found upon closer inspection and had to fix later, but I was in and out in under twenty minutes (just a little trim this time) and only cost $12. The lady who cut my hair was friendly and quick to get the job done. Given how fast and cheap it was, I'll probably be open to giving it another shot. read more

I have really been meaning to cut my hair. I know when it's about time to do it when the tip of my hair touches my coccyx or when I feel like I am being strangled by my own hair in the middle of the night when I am sleeping. I typically get my hair done at Cinta Salon but I am one person terrible at calling for an appointment. So today I decided to go rogue and did the "whoever takes me in for a same day appointment, gets my business". I did that and decided to come to this place. This place took me, so I came here. I waited till someone took me in but that didn't last 10 minutes and the lady whose station is right by the door took me in. I told her, I needed a haircut and liked a specific style. She nods. She asked me to sit down and when I tried to pull my phone out to show her the picture, she literally shoved my hands and gestured to put it under the drape that was placed around me. She proceeded to comb my hair then afterwards, she asked how short I wanted it cut. I showed her and she right away grabbed her scissors and was an inch away of just chopping my hair straight just like that, no words said. I stopped her, told her she needed to stop and that she is not cutting my hair. I walked out. Right now, I am sitting in downtown Pleasanton, enjoying the sun while waiting for my appointment at a different place writing this review and still having a hard time believing that I was able to avoid the worst from happening by walking out of this place. read more

WOW!!! a hair cut is now $12! last time it was $14. was it just me because i tip so darn good?! it has been months since my last cut and the girl who cut my hair remembered me from cutting my hair the last time. she wanted to see me in there more often and not do a cut every 4 months. i have let myself go i know. my hat has become my best friend. the place is big on doing nails but the hair cut crowd is out big time. there was a 20 minute wait this time and with great prices and great cuts i can see why. i was in and out and i look good once again. here's a $20- KEEP THE CHANGE! :) read more

So, this might not be the all time best cut I've ever gotten, but my hair stylist was efficient and effective - I look good! She knew what she was doing. I appreciate a good cut with no fanfare - I COULD go to Fusion 3 and spend $100 and get more pampered while my hair is getting cut, but who needs to be pampered? Finally, I am a student, I don't have $100 to blow on a hair cut that will look bad in 2 months (as all of my cuts from Fusion 3 have done). I spent $20 today at Signature ($14 cut plus $6 tip), so if I need to go back in 2 months, it's not going to break the bank. That's what I care about!! read more

This place wasn't bad. It's in a little plaza with a laundromat and sushi. Pretty big. I went on a Wednesday after work (about 5) and it was dead. An Asian guy came out and cut my hair. He was straight forward and asked what I want. I wanted a trim (about 2 inches cut) and bangs trimmed. Worked silently and quickly. Only spoke when he asked me about my bangs. Was done in about 30 minutes. For doing a trim it was good. Nothing spectacular. Spent $17 and a $2 tip. Can't complain. I'm not one of those girls who can spend $50+ on a haircut. Only downside was the man smelled like smoke so I could sort of smell it on me after. Nothing a quick shower can't fix. read more

The only person who can cut there is the older lady. Most of the employee there are rude, they ignore your instructions on how your hair to be cut. They always in a hurry to finish the job and doesn't care if you are satisfied or not. I must admit they have a cheap price, but that doesn't mean they have the right to be rude and unprofessional. Writing this on behalf of my husband. He's been a loyal customer since they opened. He has always pleased with their work & the price is right. He usually waits for one particular gal who seems to do a good job. However, today when he went he got the distinct feeling his business was not wanted. There was a man stylist and the gal he normally gets. They know him there & know he usually waits for this stylist. The place was empty & so he should've been taken immediately. Instead the fellow & the gal spoke to one another in their language & continued to flip through magazines. Finally, the gal told my husband which seat to sit in & proceeded to cut his hair. The cut turned out nice, but their attitudes stink! I, myself, have been to this gal & won't go back because of her attitude. Not only did she make me wait, but cut my hair in a choppy fashion, plus didn't bother to clear any of the cut hair off my neck & back It's a shame this place has gone down hill. read more

What a poor first experience that because I did not get an experience at all.... the business hours show as 9:30 to 7 Monday through Saturday and Sundays 10 to 5 ... I showed up Wednesday (Nov 11th) at 9:40 a.m. and no one was at the business ...the business was completely locked how can somebody stay in business this way???!! read more

I came for a haircut and at the time there was only 1 person cutting hair. So I waited for about 30 ish minutes and then told the lady how I wanted my hair cut. I said I wanted layers and to thin it out a little. Well, she did a pretty good job with the layers, but she thinned it out A LOT! She probably cut off around 70% of my hair! I'm kind of sad I don't really have any hair left to do anything... By the time I realized it was too late :( However, it still okay, she left the length and everything. I still Look normal, which is a good thing. She did a pretty good cut, just with the actual mass of hair she went a little too much. Make sure you specify specifically what you want! read more

I have been living in bay area for two years now and I have never been satisfied with the hair cuts anywhere until I visit Signature Hair. Sometimes I had to spent a fortune and I end up being so disappointed. I am so happy that I decided to give them a try. I have long curly thick hair that I usually like to straight them. So the details count so much. No one gave enough attention so far and then Tina gave me a perfect haircut and styled my hair.
