I've ordered once from Signature Hardware, good product and timely. However, the spam email you get afterwards is annoying and impossible to stop. I unsubscribed 3 times from their website, called customer service 3 times and was promised the emails would stop. They never did. I now have all their emails going to my junk mail and have had them blocked from our corporate website. If you do business with them, setup a fake (or one time usage) email address. Or better yet, don't do business with them at all. read more

I'd say if you don't live near the store and can see what you're buying, go somewhere local. This place may have a wide range of fixtures and decent prices but we had major problems with them fixing a problem with our online order. The sink didn't work with the legs, we were told a new one was on its way.Then days later, we were told they didn't have the one we thought was already heading our way. Instead, we were told to alter the one we had, by breaking off a piece. When that didn't work, surprisingly, we were told to return the sink. Now we have to cart the thing to Fed Ex, pay for packaging and are out 2 plumber's calls for an item that was not shipped as promised. Poorly handled, Signature Hardware! read more

While I appreciate the comments, unfortunately our plumber, designer and we disagree with your assessment. In addition, what's very disappointing is that you seem to monitor reviews on your own website. Before purchasing, I strongly considered the fact that the bathtub received seven "5 star" reviews on your website. It helped in our decision making process. However, since we purchased the tub, I've tried to leave my own constructive review on the tub on your website (not 5 stars). However, that review never showed up. That makes me question the honesty and transparency of the company. That's a real disappointment and very misleading to future customers who are trying to get an unbiased review. It's one thing to approve reviews to make sure that they are from customers who actually purchased the product (as amazon does). But, to not post reviews which are not "positive" feels misleading and approaching some sort of fraud. read more

We just did a major kitchen remodel. Our farmhouse sink purchased from Signature Hardware cracked in about 4 places after installation. I sent pictures to customer service and was informed that the disposal flange was installed too tight. They would not replace the sink but would sell us another one for 50% off. Our plumber (who did the installation and has been a plumber for 40 years) says that he has never seen this happen before. At this point, we are so disappointed and we are not sure what to do. We have very expensive quartz on for the countertops. I have been waiting for this new kitchen for 30 years and now this has happened. At this point I would not recommend this company to anyone. I have not responded to the customer service survey as I just don't know what to do and say. Just so disappointed. read more

The bathroom vanity I ordered has some irregularities in the wood right in the middle of the front. The shipping to return it is prohibitive so I will live with it...or try to sand/paint it myself. It was not cheap and I am disappointed. However I have to admit SH was the only company that carried a vanity that was perfect for my remodel. Return costs are a real disincentive to shopping online for large or heavy items. I returned a $189 mirror in packaging with a total weight of 27lb and it cost $89 for UPS plus the 10% restocking fee...so well over half the cost of the item. I would imagine some folks would rather resell it on Craigslist or eBay to a local. read more

I ordered a very small, 48" roll-top, cast iron freestanding tub and received it in good time, but the white feet not only did not fit the small tub, they were also a different color than the tub. There were also some serious scratches on the feet. If it had been an inexpensive (i.e: cheap) tub, I wouldn't have been so surprised, but I paid just under $1100.00 for this tiny tub, so I expected something much closer to perfection. Their customer service has been great, and the tub is getting picked back up today, but I am very close to being ready for it to be installed, so this is causing a bit of a problem. I will update once it is all resolved - but the main point to make now is that they are trying to figure out what went wrong and they seem to truly want to help make it right - which I appreciate. I think a little more quality control on the final inspection before shipping out would have avoided this current situation........ read more

Now here's the problem, if you purchase something that doesn't work out and you need to return it, they have NO FREE SHIPPING ON RETURNS ( which means you are paying out if pocket) and a 10% RESTOCKING FEE. Background. Purchased a number of Signature Hardware items (1 tub, 2 vanity faucets, 1 tub faucet) as part of a major bathroom upgrade. Contractor purchased the hardware as part of their scope of work (ie: I do not have the Order Number). Contractor did not complete work and has been unresponsive to requests to complete the work and provide Order Numbers for materials that they ordered. One of the Signature Hardware faucets delivered had an incorrect part. Since the installation contractor was unresponsive, I called Signature Hardware directly. Was told that they do not sell individual components and would only consider replacement under warranty if I had an Order Number. I told them I was not interested in pursuing it as a Warranty Claim, I just wanted to buy the part. Was told again that they do not sell individual components. Reason for the poor review. It appears that I have $3000 of unserviceable Signature Hardware items. In the future, it appears that I will be unable to replace "consumable" items, such as cartridges, because Signature Hardware will not sell them without an Order Number. Apparently, I will have to order a complete new faucet. Pretty lousy business model....... read more

I have extensive experience working in retail and customer service so my negative perspective on Signature Hardware is informed by that. This company has some of the worst and most unprofessional customer service I've ever encountered in the U.S. I purchased an inexpensive item ($40) through this company and went to install it in my renovated home two months later. At that time I discovered that it was missing parts. I contacted the company and they repeatedly refused to accept a return and issue a refund, or even send me the necessary parts at their cost. Even after opening a complaint with the BBB, they denied any responsibility and inferred that I was lying and was responsible for the missing parts. I ordered three items total from this company and I was not impressed with their quality. They do have some unique designs, but the quality control (items seem to come straight from China) is very poor. Encountering companies like this is really disappointing - products aside, good customer service is not that hard, and it goes a long way in assuring a company's success and repeat customer purchases. As it stands, I will never shop at Signature Hardware again, and will speak badly of them to people I encounter. They could have easily prevented that by taking responsibility for their mistake and treating me with respect. read more

Ordered external bathtub faucet combo. No directions for plumber sent. Once installed it leaked from the top. Called support and they said it was a bad cartridge and would have a replacement delivered in one week. It took two. Since the faucet was not adequately subjected to quality tests, I had to pay (not plumbers fault it was a bad part) for the entire assembly, down to detaching from the water system, to be disassembled in order for the new cartridge to be installed. In addition, the pictures sent to show how to replace the cartridge were inadequate, and in some instances, incorrect. It appears that from Jeff W.'s post on 1/7/16 that quality control is a BIG issue with Signature Hardware. BTW, this was a faucet set that cost over $500. Seems with this much on the line they'd do better. read more

I purchased a vessel sink and Trevena faucet from this company in November of 2015. The sink is great, the faucet - not so much! The installation instructions were so poor and required several phone calls to get clarification. After several months of trying to get accustomed to this faucet with it's drawbacks(wobbly handle which comes off with no effort), I decided I'd had enough. I offered to swap the faucet for another model hoping that it wouldn't have the same issues. Informed that once installed it cannot be returned, they offered to have their plumber call me to help me troubleshoot. That call never came in. Customer service is always pleasant, but never provide real solutions. You get better service at Home Depot. read more

Our experience with the product we ordered was awful from the start. We tried ordering a package of the vanity, counter top, backsplash and sinks and one piece or the other was back ordered which delayed installation for almost a month. So then we had to order the vanity from another location and ordered the counter top, backsplash and sinks with them because this is what our customer had wanted. The counter top and sinks came through with no problem but the backsplash was cracked and actually broken. So we let them know and customer service is great with these things. They sent out another one and it came cracked and broken also, with some chipping on the edges. So we tried a third time to no avail as this one came with the same damage. As we had a customer waiting for the finished product I instructed them that they needed to find one for us locally so we could pick it up because shipping was not working. After 2 months of no luck we had to except a refund for the back splash. So basically I would stay away from ordering product of the natural stone as trying to match anything they have will result in a failure. It's too hard to match. Other than that the people that work there are fantastic and do put every effort into making your experience a good one. Casey was our customer service rep and he was great. A+ for him but for this type of product the delivery of it in one piece is not good. read more

I ordered a shower tub to be delivered to my home. I was told it would arrive between 12pm-5pm and I would receive a call 30 minutes before the actual arrival. A 5 hour window seemed a little much to me but nonetheless. The tub was never delivered and the company never even called me to say it had to be re-scheduled after I had to take a day off of work, just no call/no show. I called the manager Jack and he had no explanation, just said he could re-schedule the delivery for Saturday. He didn't even give me a window until I demanded a 2 hour window instead! Then he said he'd call "sometime in the morning" to give me the 30 minute notice. After his company dropped the ball he wouldn't even give me an exact time in the morning he would call! The tub was just left on the loading dock and not placed in the truck with no apparent rationale. If you are in the Phila region save yourself the frustration and choose another company. Their actions were absolutely unprofessional. read more

I really shopped around for nice vanities and these look SO special--everybody loves them and they were just as I hoped! But more importantly than all that--the holes were misdrilled TWICE and Signature did not leave me hanging. I was a little surprised by how responsive they were in helping make sure things were righted. This is worth a LOT. I will definitely do business with them again and will recommend them highly. I have ordered twice from Signature Hardware. Both times, I searched everywhere for a reasonably priced, quality made bath vanity. Both times, they had the best selection, wood construction instead of cheaper MDF, and granite tops and sinks included. No local business can match their price and value. Delivery was within 3-5 days after I placed my order, and I was really impressed with the packaging. Everything arrives in great condition, safely packed and shipped via freight carrier. The drivers,even though it is a separate company, have been very friendly. They opened the box for me so I could check everything. Great value, quality products, wide selection. My husband applied to work here and received an email that he had passed pre-screeing and would receive an email about a background check. Shortly after that, he received an email stating that his resume had been reviewed and he was not moving forward. When he sent an email to the HR Manager questioning this, she said the first email was sent in error. My Handyman just installed a bathroom sink faucet set: Kingston Brass KB1971AX. First, it is beautiful! He said that the product was easy to install and all pieces were in the box. He commented that there were no leaks which he sometimes encounters when installing faucets. I received the product in a reasonable time. Ordered a shower system .. Terrible design on shower Diverter !!!!! 45 min hold on line just to speak with customer service !!! Only to be told the reason shower wand elbow does not work was because it was plumbed wrong !! The real reason it would not work is because they subbed the part with a totally different one !!!!! If they had just sent the one which was pictured in the sales add everything would have been fine!!! They offered to send me the one which I was supposed to get in the first place but would have to charge me 14.95 !!!! I offered to send back the inferior hand shower water elbow but the customer service rep said I would still have to purchase the one that should have come with the system in the first place!!!!!!! Like a fool I decided to pay the 14.95 and get the elbow that would solve my problem and allow my plumber to finally finish the job !!! Four days later the elbow showed up and with great excitement I called my plumber and told him the part was here.. Taking the elbow out of the box the plumber just started laughing !!!!! They had sent me the same elbow that I received four mouths earlier !!!!!! What a joke !! BUYER beware !!These shower systems look great but the functionality is pretty bad !!!!! The extra money you are gonna spend on call backs from the plumber and tile guy to fix the design problems is not worth it .. Just pony up the cash and buy something that actually works !! read more

I bought two vanities, multiple fixtures. Delivered in a timely fashion. I then left town for 49 days while my contractor began work in the project. He discovered that a drawer in one of the vanities was cracked. The whole drawer was jammed down into the drawer slide rail. He was able to recover the drawer and the drawer slide was not damaged, but the crack remained. I callled SH and a rep told me that I had only five days from delivery date to inspect and contact them about damaged items. I explained that the project had not started until about 3 1/2 weeks after delivery and that my contractor had not opened the box until 6 weeks from delivery. I also think it is unreasonable to expect a normal homeowner to open these giant boxes and remove parts that weigh several hundred pounds. That is why we hire a contractor. All I was requesting was a drawer replacement. SH informed me of their policy, which is 5 days. She said they could extend it to 30, but not to 45. She told me a new drawer would cost me 103.89. I asked to speak to a representative and first she told me they were all busy, then she told me none were even on site. I mentioned how I had dropped thousands of dollars with their company in vanities and fixtures and that I should be receiving the replacement drawer despite. In the end, I am left with a cracked drawer on my brand new vanity. This is clearly a situation where companies need to consider the issue and people. They could have sent me a replacement drawer which they would have lost $103.89 and they would have had a happy, repeat customer who would recommend them to family and friends. Instead, they have an unhappy customer who will never recommend them. Too bad policy is more important than people at Signature Hardware. read more

Six months ago I purchased a beautiful grey teak vanity from them and would probably have given them five stars. Today it is none. Why? The vanity was very expensive, a splurge for a bathroom remodel. After six months of normal use (no solvents or anything like that near it), there are ugly spots. From water? Toothpaste? Other grooming products? Signature Hardware says it is not a defect! And they offered half off for a new vanity. A refinisher I consulted says that monocoat finish (which Signature Hardware says was used) is not suitable for bathroom use so the same problem would reoccur. Plus I would have paid 1 1/2 times the cost plus the cost of reinstalling the vanity sink and plumbing. The cheap builder's grade vanity it replaced withstood normal use for years, I never imagine that I would have to worry about a vanity that cost as much as this one. Do not buy the Becker vanity! And think twice before purchasing from Signature Hardware. read more

I ordered a couple of register vents and they arrived promptly. Alas, although they were the correct size for my needs, I couldn't get them to fit! I took pictures of some protruding screws that appeared to be the culprit and Brandon went above and beyond my expectations to resolve with a full refund. I've been an online & offline consumer with many companies and this was an extremely pleasant company to work with. Kudos to their fantastic customer service! I love this place. You definitely get what you pay for here. Their merchandise is expensive, but made well and they have so many options and unique pieces. Their showroom in Erlanger is very cool. It's enjoyable to go browse there and pick things out. I purchased a white vessel sink and a chrome faucet for my bathroom remodel and both are working out great and look beautiful in my home. I interacted with several staff members there and they were all very friendly and personable. I really liked how they did not try to push me into merchandise that was out of my price range while assisting me. They really went out of their way to make sure I was getting what I wanted at a price I could afford. It's really nice to go to the showroom and pick out something and have them just pull it from the back warehouse for you to take home that day. I cannot speak to the their online ordering and delivery, but the items I purchased at their showroom/warehouse were packaged extremely carefully, which I appreciated. read more

I purchased a fabric shower curtain and metal shower curtain rings from this company. The so called "metal" rings were really made of cheap plastic painted w/metalic paint to try to make them look like metal. Slightly opening the rings to place on the curtain rod caused them to break in half. Not one, but 5 out of 12 broke. The fabric shower curtain also made in China smelled like it has been doused with toxic chemicals. Washing instructions stated do not wash with soap. Shower curtain went directly I the trash followed by the rings. It's a sad day in the US when you have to say you could have gone to Wal Mart and purchased better quality Chinese products. The only good thing out of the ordeal was customer support. The person in CS was very polite and refunded me my money. I would hesitate to buy from here again though. About two years ago my wife and I purchased a freestanding air tub with some chrome faucets for a new bathroom. We looked around the Internet and local places and found that signature hardware had the best pricing and we were pleasantly surprised by the outstanding customer service that they offered us. I have called numerous times for additional questions about the tub and other products that they offer. They're on staff plumbers have always been available for explanations and questions that I had. Out of all the purchases that we did for our upstairs remodel signature hardware was definitely one of the best, we would recommend them for anybody purchasing a product that they offer. read more

I ordered house numbers to be shipped to a PO Box. Received a call from a very snippy person from the company telling me that they DO NOT ship to PO Boxes. (I don't know why that information wasn't given to me at the time of my ordering.) I explained that I would be out of town and didn't want the shipment made to my home address. I asked when the numbers would be shipped. She barked that it wouldn't be any sooner than 7 days. When I asked if it might be longer than 7 days, she barked that it could be if something went wrong. She clearly had no interest in helping me solve the problem, so I cancelled the order. read more
