Two employees were at the counter. One employee helping the only customer there. This person looked me in the eye, so I approached the counter. He said, "You'll have to wait in line." Like I was doing something wrong. I looked around for a line. The customer looked at me and laughed, "I guess you're the line" I walked out. Amazon got me what I needed after the first visit and there are other places to go.

We chose a set, he suggested we apply for a credit card and save $100 on the set. We did just that and within 10 minutes were approved and purchased the set. We asked for assembly of the set and delivery of the set, which the website had said was free. We paid and left being told it would be delivered on Monday! My husband made arrangements to be home for the delivery which was given to us as an 8 hour window. They showed up Monday at our apartment building with two large boxes and nothing assembled.my husband called Troy to find out why it wasn't assembled, and Troy did not recall us or our order made less than 48 hours prior. After a lengthy conversation which was not very respectful on his part, we sent the set back to the store and requested assembly and redelivery. Today, (Friday) with no warning, we were received photos from our apartment manager of our furniture sitting out by the street in front of our building. !!!!!!! We could not believe they had unloaded and left the furniture outside by the road, no notice, not even coming into the lobby or calling us. My husband raced home from work over 30 minutes away and had to move all the furniture, couch, 2 swivel recliners and a table up the stairs, into the building and onto the elevator... up to our d as apartment and out to the patio. We are not young. This was not an easy task. Do not order, do not get a credit card giving the person who signed you up bonus points and boys checks while they don't remember you at all and deny placing an order for you. Don't pay for delivery that includes nothing more than setting $1000 worth of furniture on a city sidewalk for anyone to damage or take. Don't expect anything as far as customer service from this store. I am so angry at the week we have had from Home Depot's mistakes and rudeness.

FORMAL COMPLAINT AND REQUEST FOR IMMEDIATE ESCALATION -Order #300901241260663143…read more Re: Failed Refrigerator Installation, Unprofessional Conduct, Property Concern, Undue Stress, and Request for Compensation I am writing to file a formal complaint and request immediate escalation regarding the delivery of my new refrigerator with an ice maker from Lowe's. What should have been a routine appliance delivery and installation became one of the most upsetting and humiliating customer-service experiences I have encountered. An unidentified delivery truck arrived at my home with two delivery personnel. There was a significant communication barrier, as neither individual appeared to speak English fluently enough for us to communicate effectively regarding the delivery, installation requirements, and services associated with my order. More concerning, however, was the demeanor and conduct of the primary delivery person. From the beginning, he was rude, impatient, dismissive, and unprofessional. After entering my home, he went back outside and later returned complaining that they had "already been here for 15 minutes." I was made to feel as though I was inconveniencing him by expecting the delivery and installation services associated with my purchase. When he examined the water line connected to my existing refrigerator, he stated that because the line was plastic, he would not connect the new refrigerator. He then stated that he was not going to leave the new refrigerator at my home. I explained that my order was supposed to include delivery and installation of the new refrigerator and removal/haul-away of my old refrigerator. His response to me was simply, "NO." During this encounter, the new refrigerator was placed back onto the delivery truck at least twice. Ultimately, the delivery team left my new refrigerator sitting in my living room, while my old refrigerator remained in my kitchen. The new appliance was therefore not properly installed or placed into service, and the old appliance was not removed as expected. Additionally, one of the delivery personnel removed my front door to bring the appliance into my home. The door was not rehung correctly. Lowe's or its delivery contractor must therefore address the condition of my door and any repair or adjustment required as a result of this delivery. I understand that Lowe's or its delivery contractor may have specific requirements regarding refrigerator water lines. If a plastic water line did not meet those requirements, the appropriate response was to explain the requirement to me professionally, tell me what needed to be corrected, and complete whatever portions of the delivery could properly be performed. A plumbing or installation requirement does not excuse disrespectful treatment of a customer. Impact on Me and My Household I am a senior customer, and I expect to be treated with basic dignity, patience, consideration, and respect when individuals enter my home to perform a service. The delivery person's behavior caused me significant and undue stress and emotional distress. His demeanor was so hostile and upsetting that I was shaking and experiencing a pounding heartbeat during and following the encounter. I felt humiliated, intimidated, disrespected, and extremely upset in my own home. This was not the ordinary frustration or inconvenience associated with a delayed appliance delivery. I was subjected to unnecessary and undue stress because of the manner in which this delivery person communicated with and treated me. No customer, particularly a senior customer who has invited delivery personnel into her home in reliance upon Lowe's, should be made to feel intimidated or humiliated while simply attempting to receive merchandise and services for which she paid. The stress did not end when the delivery personnel left. I was left to deal with the consequences of their actions: a new refrigerator sitting in my living room, my old refrigerator remaining in my kitchen, my front door improperly rehung, no properly functioning new refrigerator, and uncertainty regarding when the situation would be corrected. This failed delivery has also created an immediate hardship for my household. I have no refrigerated food available and am being forced to take my son and house guest out to eat because of this situation. My son will also be without his normal breakfast for two days, which is particularly concerning because he needs to eat breakfast in order to take his medication. I should not have to incur additional meal expenses, disruption to my household, and undue emotional stress because the delivery and installation service was not properly completed. Back when I built my new "old house" in 2008/2009 I bought Signature Hardware faucets for 3 full baths, 2 half baths, my kitchen (two sinks), and my wet bar. I also purchased a claw foot tub from them. I picked Signature Hardware because I LOVED their "old fashioned" designs and because the prices were excellent. The only other manufacturer offering styles that I felt would fit the vintage design of my home had prices that were four to five times as much as Signature Hardware's! My plumbing budget just would not stretch that far. So, despite reading reviews trashing the company, I decided to take a chance. To this day, I am so glad that I did! First, I ordered a number of different styles for different rooms (a total of 1 kitchen "bridge" faucet, 2 bar faucets, 6 bathroom sink faucets, 2 tub faucets, 1 floor mounted "telephone" faucet for the clawfoot tub, plus 3 shower faucet sets). Every single item was beautifully made and incredibly heavy... clearly solid brass. My plumber had warned me against purchasing "off brand" products. He wanted me to buy from his preferred supplier and I've no doubt he'd have gotten a kick-back had I done so because that seems to be the way the construction business works. But I was insistent and after installing the Signature Hardware faucets, he changed his tune and admitted that he had never installed anything any better made. Second, when my order first arrived, one of the handles for one of the tub faucets was scratched. I contacted customer service and they asked me to email them a picture of the damaged faucet. I did and they immediately sent a replacement part...told me not to bother sending the scratched part back as they had no use for it so there was no point in spending any money on shipping it back. Third, a few years ago my kitchen bridge-faucet developed a leak that could not be repaired. When I contacted customer service under their warranty, they said they were sorry but that they no longer carried that particular faucet so could not replace it for me. HOWEVER, if I could find one that I liked among the faucets they had in stock, they would replace my faucet with whatever I chose. The one I picked out was, I think, a bit more expensive than my original choice had been, but they sent it to me anyway. No charge. Not even for shipping. Finally, recently, the hot water on one of my bar faucets (the faucet that probably gets the most use of any faucet in the entire house) has been spitting and sputtering. I figured a bit of "gravel" from our hard water was probably caught in the valve and planned to pop it out and clean it as soon as I had some free time. And then today, the cold water handle on the same bar faucet froze up completely and would not turn. Obviously both issues are due to our excessively hard water. We pulled both valve stems out intending to go purchase replacements but then could not figure out exactly which valve stems we would need to get. So I called Signature Hardware's customer service just to get the information on the model number of valve stem we would need to buy. When I explained the issue, the woman I spoke with looked up my original order (it has now been more than ten years since we bought these things!) and said they would mail us the necessary valves for FREE under our lifetime warranty! Bottom line, I have never had a bad experience with Signature Hardware. Whenever I call for anything, I get thru to customer service immediately and get excellent service. Everyone I have ever spoken with has been friendly and instantly helpful. Their products are amazing and they stand behind their warranties. You just cannot ask for more than that. So I ordered a Vanity from Signature Hardware, the design was such that I ordered the rest of the new bathroom fixtures from other companies around the vanity. I was nervous as I had not used them before but I waited the 10 days to get the product as I thought it may be worth it. I took the day off to wait for the delivery as they were not able to schedule a specific time, and to be honest the lady scheduling was not very nice. I waited all day ad then got a call from the delivery guy who was babbling something about not being able to deliver to me because his truck was too big. At this point I should say that I have never not had anything delivered before, every time I have ordered something it has arrived no problem. So it turns out the driver was saying that he had arrived at my community in a semi trailer and they didn't let him in ... of course they didn't, many communities don;t let those ridiculous size vehicles in as they are too big for many of the roads, I mean come on, who delvers locally with a great big semi rig. But apparently the driver had the belief that the fault was all mine, and he proceeded to explain how I should call my community association and complain and then I should get in my car and meet him at a lay by somewhere and pick up the goods myself ... now this was getting ridiculous. I explained the absurdity of this and then phoned Signature Hardware. So signature hardware at the outset seemed as surprised as me by the turn of events, so I thought I had a good chance of not wasting the entire day ... I was wrong. They told me in no uncertain terms there was nothing they could do for me, their delivery company had no other way of getting the goods to me at all. I pointed out that every other delivery company in the country seem to have smaller trucks that deliver to everyone in our community but they told me point blank there was no method they could find to deliver this to me .... absolutely zero effort was to be made to fix my issue. So now I wasted a whole day waiting for nothing, I had a ton of aggravation, and now I am replacing the other stuff I ordered from elsewhere as I have to redesign my bathroom from scratch again. I stress to everyone out there ... do not use this company, go and find a real Online company who has more of a customer service than just saying sorry. read more

I was seriously struggling with the choice of and purchase of a faucet for my first ever claw foot bathtub. First, I had to get over sticker-shock. I had no idea a $100 tub would demand $400-500 of hardware! But there was also tremendous ignorance on my part about what-all would be needed. God only knows how many hours I spent on-line! Then, my plumber said I couldn't take the tub to rehab until I had the hardware, so he would know something he couldn't know otherwise, which I STILL don't understand. But it meant I would need to hurry up and order the hardware! Back to the computer. There was endless confusion in my mind about tub wall mount versus wall mount.This is the only complaint I have about Signature. I could NOT figure out a way to search for tub wall mount without pulling up all manner of wall mount faucets. Finally, in frustration, I called to ask if the one I had tentatively chosen mounted on the tub, and the service rep immediately found the same model for tub mount. He took my order, and then assured me that if the hardware would not show, (it won't) there was a less expensive way to go than buying the -- what?-- lifters? risers? I still do not have the lingo down. But my plumber could NOT wrap his mind around the cheap alternative. So I contacted Signature the sales representative again, figuring your company would be better able to explain the alternative so my plumber would understand. The gent actually sent me an email explanation with links to products! It STILL wasn't clicking with the plumber, (he's mighty sweet, but perhaps not the sharpest tool in the shed), so I ended up spending another $100 for the risers or lifters or whatever. They arrived in MAYBE 3 days, despite me taking the cheapest shipping alternative! I live in a charming and tiny Ozarkan village so I do a LOT of my shopping on-line now. There is only one on-line store that I know of that is as fast and helpful as Signature, and that is Zappos! I am a dyed-in-the-wool FAN of both sites! read more

I stumbled upon Signature Hardware while looking for hardware for our bathroom. Their website made me pretty confident about their products; all the pertinent information is clearly listed plus beautifully detailed pictures of the items. Their products are beautiful, unique and shockingly well-priced. Our builder told us that the two big building stores are usually our best bet but Signature Hardware's items were usually about half that! Our products arrived promptly even though they were listed as back-ordered. Their expected date for restocking is clearly listed so they must have sent it out the same day they received it. Upon inspecting all the items everything felt very solid and were beautiful. I always believe that you judge a company by how they handle problems. One of the items in our order was not correct color-wise. I usually hate calling about problems because I dread getting the run-around or a "pre-programmed," unsatisfactory response. First, my husband left a message and when we hadn't heard back then I called. They must have a pretty organized customer service because, from my phone number alone, Matthew from customer service knew exactly the problem from my husband 's message. (So they hadn't blown us off.) Matthew was amazingly helpful. He looked at their stock to see if the ones we had were an exception, plus he looked at all the other styles of the item in their inventory to see if there would be one that would work for us. He knew what we wanted and advised us that he didn't think there would be anything that we would like and, instead of wasting my time, he just sincerely apologized and gave us an incredibly prompt refund. (My email alerted me within an hour at most.) I will definitely be recommending Signature Hardware to our builder and our friends. read more

If I could rate them with more star's, I would! This was one of the best companies I have ever dealt with in my 56 years. When I called for help on my order & questions about the product I was ordering, their Customer Service Rep was very Friendly, Patient & Knowledgeable. They made you feel like family. And you actually get someone that could speak clearly (English) where you can understand what they were saying. I'm sure many of you know where I'm coming from. LOL The product was priced right, quality of product was better than I expected, very heavy duty. And most of all, it was very beautiful. Better than the picture on the internet. I was concerned about the size after ordering, due to picture on internet. They reassured me that I would be happy with it & that the package was on its way. So they asked that I wait until I got it before changing it out for another selection. I did, and I was! Not only that, I received it in a timely manner. Ordered it on a Saturday, received it the following Wednesday. All other companies had a 2-3 week wait on delivery. Another plus for me, I was looking for a beautiful oil bronze faucet for my newly remodeled kitchen. Looked on the internet at many, many websites for 2-3 days . Everything I found was priced too high with a 3-4 week delivery time. I needed the product sooner. Signature Hardware has the best selection with a lot better prices & 3-4 day delivery time. I cannot say enough about how fabulous this company is to deal with. Their selection is outstanding. The pricing for the products was the best I'd found all over the web, including buying products from Canada. On top of that, I didn't pay for shipping and I didn't pay California sales tax. I saved hundreds and hundreds of dollars on my order. The products were shipped promptly and in great condition. The trucking company they use is very considerate with how they handle and deliver. They picked a good partner. The customer service is amazing. They answer the phone and it doesn't take five minutes of identifying yourself. They know who you are and have your order up on screen and they're talking to you immediately about your needs and what they can do to make things better. They respond to emails seemingly 24 / 7 even on weekends it seemed. I've never dealt with a mail order or online company as good as this. I shopped for weeks and weeks to get the best price even using price crawlers to discover the web for me. And these guys came out on top with excellent quality. I only wish I purchased all my hardware and fixtures for the bathroom there and not just the countertop and sink. I told the local handymen that did the installation about this company and I'm spreading the word as fast as I can. I was very pleased with the overall customer service team @ SH. The front desk took my initial order and repeated it back before I paid. Then she assured me she would follow up on a question I had by contacting another team member. I had an emailed response from her within 12 hours. My ordered items came in 2 deliveries. Delivery #1 was on time and order was as expected. Delivery #2 was my tub. Excellent communication with team on tracking and upon arrival i noted that tub was VERY well packed. Yep, its cast iron and painted correct color and in one piece. It looks beautiful! Too bad it isnt the tub i ordered. Lol. Well, the customer service team was responsive and had a plan. First, submit pics of my tub. Done. Next, I can either return the tub i had and replace with tub i ordered or just keep what i had if i wanted. Bait and switch ? Maybe but I dont think so. I had an assigned person working with me on this issue. Bravo. Preferring not to tempt my good fortune of getting another tub in good order, properly painted and on time again i kept what was delivered. I also just didn't want to deal with all that again..... must be home to sign for delivery, etc. I love the tub and builder with 30 years experience says its a good cast iron tub. Agreed. I would use them again. They over performed from what was promised, which is normally a good thing. However, in this case it might have kept me from choosing a different type of rod design. My main concern was the correct length for both legs of the rod to fit in the space. It's great that I got longer pieces than expected, but if would have helped make a better sale if the product description listed it better. I don't know if that was only for the certain product I ordered or if all the rod sets like that came with long rods you can cut down to size. If it was listed I missed it entirely in the description and that was what I was looking for. I paid whatever the price was - it was not really a concern for me on this project - I just wanted the best item to finish out the M.B. I purchased a L shaped shower rod with one long rod and one short rod and a hanging bolt attachment to the ceiling to install on our shower in the corner of the master bathroom. I was trying to find the rods with the correct length that I needed for each rod and so I placed my order. When it arrived, I received MORE than I expected, both rods were of equal length and I was able to cut them down to whatever I needed. This was not indicated on the website. If this is true for all items then I might have picked out a different model that looked better to me. read more

One of the worst experiences ever! ....and I've been in the construction business for over 25 years. Ordered a better quality bath vanity and medicine cabinet. Shortly after medicine cabinet shipped I was advised the vanity was no longer available, but I could have one in a different finish for a discount. Even with the "discount" it was still hundreds of dollars more, so I declined. The rep calls me back a half hour later with "good news", "we have a display model". Couldn't give a further discount but was assured it did not have any damage, so I decided to take it, especially since the medicine cabinet was already on its way. When I received it there was damage/defects in the wood and the granite top had two chips plus a poorly repaired/epoxied chunk out of the top. Customer service asked me to send pics, which I did only to be told "sorry you bought it as is" (which I most certainly did not) and they'd "allow" me to return it for full credit but the common carrier freight expenses would be mine. Completely unacceptable!!!!! Needless to say, but the charge is now in dispute. UPDATE: Within hours of me posting my review the company provided a full credit for the purchase price. I applaud the good will gesture, but will certainly think twice before doing business with this company again. read more

My husband requires a handicapped accessible bathroom on a budget and in a hurry. My brother suggested Signature Hardware and took me to their showroom. He said, "You get the best deals here." Well, it didn't look like very good deals to me...rather expensive, I thought. So after buying a tub on sale, which was an excellent deal, I tore the Internet apart comparing prices. I found some of the same brands out there, but when i read the fine print, it would says things like "certain parts not included." "When you buy the "part not included" separately, it took the price higher than Signature Hardware. When you order from Signature, you get the complete package. Therefore, the price is not higher, rather you save time and nerves knowing you're getting the right parts all in one package. If you have any doubts, just give them a call. Experienced people actually answer the phone and help you every step of the way. That is worth it's weight in gold. If you make a mistake, you can easily get your order corrected. I've had a very good experience with them. If you're looking for quality products at reasonable prices with superior customer service, look no further. In the end, I finally gave up comparing and just went to their website and chose from their stock. It made my life much easier. read more

PHENOMENAL!!! We live in Vancouver British Columbia Canada and are more often than not disappointed when attempting to ordering products on line. This due to the fact that there is a large selecting of amazing products available to the U.S. market but not to it's Canadian neighbour. Upon checkout on most on line sites there is either no shipping to Canada, high duties which may or may not be covered in the estimated shipping cost, or shipping only to the nearest boarder and then additional cost from that point on. However it was unbelievable A. when we saw the pricing at Signature Hardware (which even with the crappy exchange rate at this time) still beat our Canadian store prices by at least $300. And B. upon check out to see that this company has figured out that YES Canadians also want to do business with them and they have accommodated us by including all cost, both duty and taxes, into the total! AMEN!!! Then to top it all off, and this is the cherry on top, we ordered on a Tuesday afternoon and received our package ( which was not small by any means ) on Wednesday afternoon. OMG I can't say enough about this company, if you are at all thinking of remodelling, building, or doing any bathroom work what so ever this is the company for you!!! I saw something I really liked a that seemed a great price. I bought it online, and it was delivered to my door about three days later...sooner than other orders I had placed with other vendors way last week or even the week before, for which I am still waiting. I was surprised at how quickly orders get shipped, the professional communication, and quality of packaging. This is my second order, but will not be my last. There are some orders from other vendors for which I've been waiting for months, and the items still have not arrived. Signature Hardware puts CUSTOMER SERVICE back into online shopping. That sealed the deal for me...great products at reasonable prices, that are shipped out to you even before you expect them. This is almost as good as going down to your neighborhood hardware store, 1/2 block away and picking the thing you want right away. Since neighborhood hardware stores are a thing of the past, I think this place has already replaced them. It's really great to have someone watching out for you and insuring you get what you paid for as soon as possible. Couldn't recommend them highly enough...just try it for yourself...you'll see. I bought a freestanding tub from Signature Hardware. When it arrived my builder and myself opened the top of the box and inspected to see that all was good. We replaced the lid and kept it where it was until the bathroom remodel was further along. My builder had health issues and the project got behind. When he and the plumber went to get the tub for installation they found damage on the very bottom and underneath the tub. On one side the acrylic was cut and on the other you could see damage from the forklift in the foam. I called Signature Hardware to see about a replacement. They said that because I was outside the 30 day window (it had been 43 days) they would not replace it. I spoke with both a customer service rep and an supervisor. They were obviously reading from the same script because their responses were identical. Both were patronizing and insulting, saying they understood and knew how I felt. Long story short, they would not replace it, but I could BUY ANOTHER ONE for 50% off! I am an experienced online shopper and have never had a company that refused to stand behind their product and service. In the end, I found a man who repairs tubs and he did an excellent job, saving me $800. I will never shop Signature Hardware again. read more

I actually asked this firm at the end of the last call with them how i could give them a review. They were outstanding. Superb products and customer service that is second to none. We ordered a new vanity- when we opened the top was not at all what we expected- we wanted a grey silver color but got a vanity that was much more brown/grey and somewhat different from that shown in the online photo. SH were understanding, professional and unbelievably courteous from the word go. They offered to change it at no cost, checked how the problem occurred and were prompt and helpful. We have 2 other bathrooms to remodel and will be buying from SH. They have a great range of products at pretty good prices. Buying online is always a bit risky if its a large expensive product, if you have a problem with what you order i have found that getting an exchange or refund can be inconvenient, costly or just impossible. Not so with Signature Hardware. i had to call them on two other occasions because i misread the order and thought the sink was included. Each person who helped me- Carole, Chris and both Stephanies. were warm, friendly and just plain old nice. i miss those days! Will be buying from this firm wherever i can in the future. read more

I was searching for a doorbell that had more design elements than the ones your find at your local hardware store. I came across Signature Hardware company in my online search and found a large variety of doorbell's that not only met my design specifications but they were reasonably priced with low shipping costs. The site itself was simple to navigate and allowed for more specific search capabilities, so I didn't have to spend a great deal of my time searching for what I was looking for and the check out process was fast. I was also very happy with how quickly my shipment arrived, two days earlier than promised. The quality of the product I received was true to the website description and was extremely pleased. After the simple install, I have had several guests comment on how beautiful it is without any prompting on my part. I don't often give a company a full 5 star rating, but in this instance I truly felt they delivered an A+ due to the exceptional customer experience they provided from ordering the product to point of delivery. The experience coupled with the quality of the product at a reasonable price point made my decision a no brainer. I would definitely use Signature Hardware again. read more

We ordered sight unseen off the website from Oregon. We decided to go for it and ordered everything from a teak vanity, to copper sink, and fixtures for our tub and vanity. The shipment arrived the next week on a pallet, and was packed carefully and with extra layers of protection. For such a heavy shipment, nothing was damaged in the least, and opening everything was like Christmas morning. We were more than delighted by the quality. We haven't yet installed all the fixtures, but we expect no issues, based on our experience and the quality so far. We also ordered some bronze heat register covers. They were a fraction of the price on Signature that they were on Rejuvenation. They are solid, fit perfectly and look great. We've already ordered from Signature Hardware again. When I didn't see email confirmation of our order, I called them up, talked to a real person with a sweet Kentucky drawl within a minute, and she was able to see just from the phone number I was calling from that our order had already shipped and they'd sent two confirmations already. Sure enough, I found the emails in my Gmail spam box. One of my best online ordering experiences ever. These guys are doing it right. read more

Found SigHard on line. Purchased a very expensive tub filler, which arrived w/in about 2 days of placing the order. Extremely well packed. Opened the package, the unit was severely misshapen/bent and unusable. Called customer assistance, they answered on the 3rd ring (this is "customer service" - you always wait 10 minutes, then get cut off). Greg answered, I described the problem, he apologized, asked if I wouldn't mind a slight delay for the replacement so THEY could open the box for inspection before shipping. 2nd unit received in 2 days, again great job of packing, the unit was obviously opened at the shop, and should be fine. Final points: very reasonable price on the website, considerably lower than other sites for virtually the same unit ($1000+ difference). Truly amazing, PROFESSIONAL customer service, which included several e-mails notifying me of shipment, and follow up. This is a review I've been looking forward to writing. This seems to be one very great company to work with, I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to put in another order. Extremely honest people, and great service, very prompt delivery. Stumbled across this site in a google search when looking for a bathroom faucet of a certain style. We found exactly what we were looking for. This had been a long, extensive search, and we were thrilled to find a high-quality faucet at such a reasonable price. We ended up purchasing not only the faucets for two pedestal sinks, but all the hardware for the new shower. The salesman was extremely helpful in directing us as how to achieve the functionality we were looking for (shower head, plus handheld with two controls to be able to use both showerheads simultaneously without loss of shower pressure to either one). Everything is gorgeous and works exactly as planned. Wish we had known about them when we did the first bathroom. The result would have been far better, and we wouldn't have had to sacrifice functionality for price. Will come back here again and again. Sidenote: recently needed a "vacuum breaker" for two handheld showers. An online search turned them up in the expected places - big box stores, Ace Hardware - but again, the price, appearance and quality of the one found at Signature Hardware was superior. In advance of my purchase I found customer service and online chat to be very helpful with a seemingly high level of expertise. I was concerned about buying sinks and faucets from them given there is not return shipping included, but I had been impressed to that point, so decided to purchase. Unfortunately, whatI received was defective. I went 10 rounds with customer service explaining the defect, including pictures, and they claimed I had not shown that it was defective, nor could I return the product because it had been installed and had running through it. Of course this was the only way to find out it WAS defective - by installing it and watching it leak. I have lost a lot of money by purchasing from them, given the time I had to pay my plumber to resolve the defects. People should know that going in. The company has immediate customer service response, has you take surveys, etc. They really seem to have the infrastructure to DO customer service well. They just don't seem to put customers first. Admittedly, I have low tolerance for companies that don't try to make customers happy, and great respect for those who do. I will never purchase from them again. read more

I'm completing several pre-move update projects to a recent town house purchase on a very tight schedule. The toilets purchased from a local big box hardware store weren't the height I expected, so to keep my contractor on schedule, I ordered replacements from SH and paid extra for 2 day shipping to Virginia. An email that I received confirming the order had switched my shipping back to ground somehow so I called. The customer service was wonderful and things were switched back with no problem while on the phone. I selected 2nd day delivery to allow me to coordinate being home. The very next day I was shocked to see an email that my order status was updated to DELIVERED! Normally, early delivery is great, but I rushed home to find 10 (ten) large boxes (five were very heavy) in my driveway in front of the garage door--with no help to get them in. I appreciated the diligence in working to get them to me immediately, and that level of customer service helped to ease the back pain experienced after getting them out of the driveway solo. The toilets are just what I was looking for and I would definitely purchase needed items from them again. Great job SH! read more
